  1. I know this is a 5 month old thread but I'm wondering if you guys have the template for the parentals affidavit of the living arrangement? I'll be giving up my apartment soon and we'll be moving in with my mother's house for the sake of saving but will still pay rents and part of the utilities. I'll greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

If possible try to have your name added to one of the utilities

this should be sufficient evidence in addition to any statement your parents provide.

    Regards

  2. It took me awhile to figure out that adding my husband onto some of my cards would help him gain a credit score, but we have finally done that. We have also bought a mattress together. Also, there are secured credit cards through Wells Fargo, Bank of America, US Bank and others. Check with the bank or credit union you use to see if they have any options for you.

Good credit takes time, good luck!!

    Thank You for the reply.

My Credit is pretty good low 700's, We just can't seem to get my Japanese Spouse approved for credit cards. Your suggestions are good. We will go to her bank and ask for a secured Credit Card.

  3. My wife is Japanese, We got her 10 year green card in 2006

@ Akiko - My Wife travels on Her Japanese passport, She shows her Green card when re-entering the US. She has never had any problems.

Right now she is trying to establish a credit history in the US. It seems no one will extend her a credit card under her own name.

She has excellent credit in Japan. She always gets turned down here due to insufficient credit history.

Any Ideas on how she can establish credit?

She is already on a couple of my accounts as joint card holder, she is also on my mortgage and Auto Loan.

  4. Chatting with friends who are fully aare of the relationship you are in is ok,

Chatting with friends of opposite sex should be harmless so long as they are friends and the time spent chatting is taking away from your current relationship.

Now say your SP start chatting with someone they previously had an intimate relationship with, that would be considered crossing the line.

It is all about being open, sensitive to your SO's needs and honest.

If you find yourself having more conversations with online friends than your spouse or So then that could be a sign that there are some intimacy issues or communication problems in your relationship.

an occasional post or e-mail should be ok.

  5. Personal Responsibility

They chose actions which could put their life and future in danger.

I wasn't holding a gun to their head ( as for a I know). They gambled and lost. It happens every day.

May their souls rest in peace.

Well put. may their souls rest in peace and thank goodness no others were injured or killed.

  6. Its very sad how people gloat about things like this.

Dying in a car wreck isn't something to laugh at or applaud.

They got what they deserved packing a car that full is a danger to thos ein the vehicle and those in traffic around them, they disregard the lives of others as with every other law they disregard.

better them than some law abiding family.

Now maybe that will be 10 less illegals that our govt has to support that support can towards 10 LEGAL families.

Not sad to me at all, they got what they deserved putting others lives in danger while committing a FEDERAL CRIME.

Hell look at those reporters who entered into North Korea accidentally, they were immediatly arrested and now sentenced to 12 years.

I like the swift justice of that SUV wreck!

You really are incapable of offering a rational opinion aren't you?

Soon as you read "illegal" its like those people are sub human or something.

It has nothing to do with being opposed to illegal immigration and everything to do with your own prejudices.

Wrong ! They Chose to endanger lives around them WHILE COMMITTING AND ILLEGAL ACT

I have no respect for Criminals who knowingly & willingly break the law endanger the lives of others while doing so. I don't care where they are from Ireland, Sweden Mexico, wherever it is the fact they break federal laws while putting innocwent lives in danger, why shouldn't I be outraged at this?

has nothing to do with prejudice, it has to do with abiding by the laws of our nation.

When one of your parents almost gets killed in a car accidnet caused by one of these Illegal criminals then maybe you will see things differently.

I welcome immigrants from anywhere so long as they are legal and so long as they are not putting others lives in danger while commiting federal crime of entering our border illegally.

get it through your Thick ignorant head. it is about the following laws and safety of those who are legally here.

Same danger as a drunk driver getting killed in a car wreck better that than an innocent family. ( Majority of Illegals drive illegally and drive drunk)

How safe it is it to drive with a vehicle filled beyond its capacity, while evading federal agents. could arguably be more dangerous than one drunk behind the wheel. It poses a threat to those around them and those who chose to drive that way have a total disregard of the safety of those around them.

  8. That wasn't a stereotype. That was you gloating about the tragic death of 10 human beings.

Presumably you were one of those guys cracking jokes about collapsing buildings and crashing planes in the days after 9/11.

no, that would be the muslim guys. i'm sure it's still available on youtube, but i saw it on CNN when it was happening.

as far as the 10 dead people are concerned:

it's hard to have sympathy for them when over 300 American citizens are raped or murdered EVERY day by an illegal alien.

it's hard to have sympathy for them when illegal alien child molesters haunt the schoolyards of this country.

it's hard to have sympathy for them when illegal aliens sell drugs on American street corners.

it's hard to have sympathy for them when illegal drivers kill and maim on the highways of this country.

it's hard to have sympathy for them when they line up at houses in residential neighborhoods to wait for their turn to have sex with some girl who thought she was ciming to America to live "the dream" only to be forced into prostitution at the age of 14 and be sexually abused by 18-20 men a day.

don't remember any of these things happening? read the news more often.

Exactly! thats 10 less Scumbags ILLEGAL ALIENS Since our govt. is so inept at enforcing the law maybe enough of them will get into accidents like this.

  9. When I lived in Japan There was a place called Big Air Fukuoka it was a ski & Snow board park indoors.

    The Japanese are very industrial.

I think Japan probably has more indoor ski/snowboard facilities than any other country.

It was impressive and there were challenging enough runs to entertain advanced snowboarders.

  10. :jest:

  11. It would be pretty dodgy to be arrested if you were on an overseas vacation and overstayed your visa/waiver by a few days. Local police would have to deal with calls from irate consulate officials.

Maybe there should be laws written to exclude those who ENTERED The country LEGALLY on a VWP and simply overstayed and those who illegally crossed into the USA without inspection, That is what seperates the ILLEGALS from those who are legally in the USA, overstaying a Visa is a violation, but it is not a criminal offense, illegally crossing into the usa without Visa or without "inspection" is a criminal offense and those who are found out to have done this should be immediatly deported, state police should have the authorty to immediatly take inot custody anyone who is found to be illegal ( entered without inspection) this BS about jurisidction or violation of right sby asking an persons immigrations status is #######, the GOVT. should give state agencies jurisdiction and ability to enforce all Laws including federal immigration laws.

That is pretty much how it works in Aus and I don't think I have ever heard any complaints about their strict immigration system / policies. Overstays go through a hearing. Anyone there illegally who has not gone through any inspection or visa is almost immediately deported, regardless of being there 3, 5, 10 years etc. Only those who apply for asylum may possibly stay. Most of those apps need to be approved by the federal minister of immigration.

There should be a clear distinction between the two when it comes to being illegal. Except those seeking asylum, there is no excuse for anyone to enter the United States illegally considering the country already provides the lottery visa avenue for anyone to apply. I don't know of any other nation which has the same generous and random visa.

I thought state police being able to enforce federal laws was the norm. I guess not. Common sense really as federal laws are the law of the land. Now, with Dems in charge I don't think illegal immigration will be fixed. Instead they will give them amnesty setting the groundwork for more illegal immigrants to enter without any visa. Further degrading the standard of living for Americans and putting extra pressure on already strained government services that are running out of money. You cannot have you cake and eat it. All good and well to help illegals when the country is doing well but suicide to do so when the government itself has no money. Either the government assists the millions of Americans in need or they spend money helping others around the world while more and more Americans live in squalor.

Thats the problem with this country, Illegals think they have the right to complain and demand amnesty when they willingly make a lifestyle out of breaking federal laws. too bad the USA doesn't adopt the same immigration policy as other nations where if one entered illegally is immediatly deported back home. instead the USA supports these illegals and these illegals become a drain on the economy, school systems, & health Care, nothing good comes out of them being here. They should be proescuted , sent back home and then made to apply the legal way.

  13. I have not interviewed for nursing program but for my physical Therapy MPT i was asked a lot of questions about my experience, my background, why i chose Physical Therapy.

basically be open and honest be yourself. Smile, sit up with a good posture, maintain eye contact and be confident with a touch of humility.

Be prepared with nay and all rferences, paper work ect.. that you will be asked for. Anytjhing you sent in with your application, you should have copies on hand with you just in case they are referred to.

    Good luck!

  14. i am sure they will be paying more later via the lawsuits

It is ashame that some will still file law suit, considering they are all lucky to be alive due to the pilots actions and quick thinking that saved all of the passengers & crew.

I hope any lawsuits that get filed are thrown out.

The airlines is obviously diligently doing their best to not only reimburse passngers for their tickets but alos issuing them 5000.00 checks that alone should cover majority of everyones losses, in addition I am sure the airlines will willingly cover any and all medical expenses without suits needing to be filed.

  15. Let me see if I got the facts right.

Found guilty of shooting an unarmed person in the back?

    Tried to cover it up?

    Note...they weren't pardoned...the facts of the case haven't been disputed...only the sentencing.

Sure, some say they were just doing their job...but in law enforcement, their job is to run after the guy...not to shoot him and cover it up.

They were apprehending and illegal drug smuggler. I agree with you they were in the wrong for the cover up,

And the facts of the case WERE disputed, we have no way of knowing if the suspect pointed a gun at them as he was being aprehended keep in mind this was an illegal alien DRUG smuggler whose only intention was to enter USA illegally and smuggle drugs, the illegal should have been shot at first site of him illegally crossing the border. He was a threat not only to american citizens but to those who risk their lives daily protecting our border from these criminal illegal aliens.

  16. He says there are six depressive factors - winter weather, Christmas credit card bills, abandoned New Year's resolutions, job security fears, mounting debt and the house price collapse.

    Hmm....

    It's pretty outside, but cold.

I have no Christmas credit card bills.

I've been sticking to my New Year's resolution.

    I have job security.

    My debt is actually decreasing.

I don't plan on buying a house for another 2 years.

I also didn't have to go to work today because it's a holiday.....

Great day outside 72 degrees, I woke up to my beautiful wife and two darling kids,

No Debt from Christmas the only debt we now have is a 1200.00/ month mortgage and a 200.00 car note.

Half day at work due to Holiday Loving life, i think I will chose tomorrow to be depressed because i have to work a full 8 hours.
