Yep feeling it too. December 6th filer and still waiting. Ive tried not to look on the forum too much seeing people way after our file date get approved. Heres to getting some positive news soon!

I know right?! It's crazy! And so frustrating sometimes. We feel hopeful each start of the week only to get disappointed when the week ends. Oh well, what can we do... no choice but to wait. Good luck to us, next week is another week.

Day 113 for us 😞

I sent tax transcripts, w2's, check stubs for the year and letter from employer in letter head with length of employment, job title, yearly salary and that I am a full time permanent employee. I also sent a letter from my bank on their letter head with the length I've had the account, total deposits for the previous 12 months and current balance. Don't give anyone a reason to question your ability to support your significant other. Just assume there is a standard. Don't just meet the threshold, exceed it

Day 93 for me. I understand expedited requests, but I messaged a couple people who got approved at around 80 days. It wasn't expedited in those cases it's just random. So it's somewhat in order and just somewhat random. It's a bit discouraging

Yes, they have to run a background check (Name check) and then give you a case number. I guess they just received it. Call back tomorrow and say you want to find out if they have received your case.

Hi.. When I woke up few minutes ago, I tried to track my VISA Status to NVC...
 
Says: In Transit
Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.
 
Questions:
1. Does it mean that it's on its way to USEM?
2. Why they provided me an interview date? I thought I need to call them to apply for an interview schedule? I'm confused.
3. How long does it take to receive here in USEM?

Day 100 here.  We are a 12/23 received date so hoping to hear something soon (hoping we ALL hear something soon  ).  We really want to have my fiancé here for my family beach trip the first week of July so we need USCIS to get with it.  I cant even imagine how the November and early December filers that haven't heard back are feeling right now.  Fingers crossed that they all get their approvals soon!!

Day 99 now from received date for our application. Should be getting some notice of approval anytime now since they are slowly pecking away at the applications that were received on the day that ours was received. Hoping today will be the day!!!

Ok need some advice here. I have just read Edric&Setchie post from above concerning the DS-160 and the link he added. When you go to this link, ..https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/family/fiance-k-1.html.... , and start to read it and get to the section, Required Paperwork for the visa, it says police reports from country of residence and from any other countries that have lived in for six months or more since age of 16. My fiancée has worked overseas in Dubai and in Hong Kong. I know that she worked in Dubai for more than six months but not sure if she worked in Hong Kong for more than six months. Does this mean then that she will need to have police reports from those places for when she goes to the Consulate for her visa interview? She will be taking her visa interview in Manila. So any help on this will be greatly appreciated so I can inform her of this matter and she can start to get the ball rolling for police reports from those places. We should be getting our NOA2 notice shortly also.

What was the received date for when USCIS received your application at the lockbox? That is the date that is supposed to be used for the timeline. Is the date you use on your timeline the date that your NOA1 notice was sent to you? If you look again at the actual NOA1 notice you received in the mail it will give you a received date for your application and will also give you a date for when the notice was sent.

Dear sister you don't need to be jealous or angry , the thing is that each case is different and different people are working on the cases , that's why some people get their approval soon and for some people it takes longer .
Just stay patient for a bit more and yes they are still working on December fillers for sure those who are still waiting will recieve their approval soon. This waiting game will over soon and you will see it's worth it at the end.  🤗

Aww... I'm happy for you all but jealous at the same time. People are already talking about NVCs, even those who have received their NOA 1 after us, while here we are still waiting for our NOA 2. It would be nice to get approved today, it's our 4th anniversary. Hoping for the best. Fingers crossed!

When is the good timing for us to call to the NVC? we will start calling them tomorrow .

Hi guys. This waiting is driving me nuts. Im checking the uscis web multiple times a day. 🙈. Here's my timeline:
12/14/2016 - form i-129f received
3/22/2017 - noa2 approval date
 
it's been a week since my approval date and i am itching to call nvc now to get my case number but i know i should wait until next week to call nvc, right?
 
is it realistic to have the visa on hand by late may?

Thanks for the reply. Will await instructions from the NVC then. It is usually sent thru email now right?

Yes,  they package it up and send your files to the embassy to where the interview will be.. 2-3 weeks..
