My naturalization interview is scheduled at Lawrence, MA, on 11/17 at 7.30 am. Also, in the letter, they mentioned the processing would take about two hours.

Thanks, guys, for the useful posts about the interview.
It's time to start for the preparation.

Congratulations! I filed my N-400 in May 2020 and have an interview scheduled in December 2020 at Lawrence as well. I’m looking forward to hearing your interview  experience. Good luck with your interview!

  2. I filed my N400 online on 5 May 2020, early this week I saw that my case was moved to Lawrence, MA (my nearest local office is Boston, MA). Yesterday my online account said that my interview is scheduled for the 2nd of December 2020 at the Lawrence, MA office.  The interview notification came a month after I received biometric reuse notification. I haven't received the interview letter in the mail yet.

I wonder if all of you guys can still see the expected completion time for your applications?

I submitted my application on May 06, got Biometrics reuse letter on Aug 07, and the estimated completion time was shown as October 2020. Now when I login I literally do not see any timeline besides "We are taking longer" prompt.
Also just a heads up for those who were saying you will receive an interview invite letter in about a month after your biometrics appt or reuse letter. It's been almost three months for me (and counting), and I'm sure there are people who have even a longer wait.

I filed in May 2020 and my completion date used to say October 2020 but then it disappeared last week.

Congrats. It is nice to see things moving.  When did you did your last biometrics? I had my biometrics before a year for travel document, I am wondering if they can reuse it for N400. But, there was not move since May.

Thanks @Debai! My biometrics appointment for AOS was on 18 March 2019, so USCIS is using my biometrics details from 18 months ago. Have you received any information regarding your biometrics yet?

I wont be able to apply for citizenship until 2022 because I filed for divorce. It's like 5 years not 3 years :(

How's your case going? Anything from USCIS?

Oh ok, at least you have a 10 year green card so you don't have to worry about it until it's time for your citizenship. I haven't heard anything from USCIS and my case status still says "fingerprint applied to your case". Hopefully I should hear some good news by the end of March 2020, fingers crossed!

  6. I just saw an update that USCIS has transferred some cases to share workload (https://www.uscis.gov/workload-transfers). Hopefully this should speedup the process, let's see!

You and me have similar case. We submitted our application same time and same location. I have not heard anything since I did my bio metric.

Same here @Lip Gallagher I haven't heard anything since the biometric appointment in March 2019. But it looks like many January and February 2019 filers are getting approved. Hopefully our turn will come soon 🙂

  8. Congratulations to everyone who got approved! I know it's such a great relief and you can focus on the Citizenship journey. From my observation it looks like everyone who got approved recently was on a K1 Visa. I think their case is pretty straightforward and they already went through detailed interview during K1 visa process. Is there anyone who adjusted from a different visa (like H1B or F1) that got approved?

Do you know if there is a period of waiting time after receiving your case number via text before entering new case info to track? We got the text this morning and tried to add it to the "my case" section but it comes up invalid..

    Thanks for any info..

My NOA number showed “invalid” for 2 days after receiving the txt. Now it says “case received....you don’t have to do anything at this stage”.
