    Hey Jefry,

based on the information you gave, your case was received within the 90 day window (02/10/2021 and uscis payment transaction is at 12:30 eastern time), then you should appeal bro!! You are gonna win it!!
You could have also talk to the office or ask to talk to a supervisor and show you priority date on your notice; however, your best option now is to appeal the denial decision.
    Good luck!

If possible, see you can send a letter to local office (motion to reopen) and provide the information, they may reopen your case and approve it without need of 700$ appeal fee. Either way it’s best to go with immigration lawyer.

  2. Help with N-445, incorrect middle name (one character wrong)

    Hello friends,

After a long wait (almost 3 months) since interview, I finally received my N-445 notice to appear for oath ceremony for Sept 16th, in my N-445 they entered my middle name as wrong . Just one character (instead of “I” they typed as “A”,  correct middle name - “Kiran” but they entered as “Karan”
both my first and last names are correct, does this can cause any effect/problem ? How to get it corrected?

Did you check online? The documents gets uploaded there (if you applied online). My interview was on a thursday, final approval that same day and on the saturday I received a notification by email that the oath ceremony was scheduled for 8/17. The letter itself arrived 10days after the document being uploaded online

Checking every day multiple times, unfortunately no document uploaded yet.

  4. Went to interview on May 26th 2021 - got denied , appealed the denial with N-336 in July, got an notification update last Monday that they recommended my N-400 for approval now and I am in line for oath ceremony (oath ceremony scheduled) status since Aug 9th. Can I know how long it takes for them to send the oath ceremony notice? My field office generally  do oath at the same day of interview for successful candidates, so hoping it should not be a long wait for them to send oath ceremony notice. Thank you.

  5. I-751 filed in May 2019 and N-400 filed in April 2020. Biometrics completed for N-400 in dec 2020. I-751 is getting closer to 2 years and a recent status request done via congressman’ liaison to local field office told that both my cases are in queue for scheduling interview. I was expecting a combo interview, surprisingly I received an notification last Friday about a status change and it shows Card is in Production for my I-751. I looked at other pending case I-751(one closer to my case number and he/she also got approved around same day).Don’t know if something changed but if N-400 is in process they mostly do combo but now they are approving all last 2 years old pending I-751’s . It’s very good thing since it relives lot of stress for preparing for combo interviews. Now can only focus on N-400 test, but of course brining all bonafide marriage documents and spouse with you for N-400 interview will be helpful.

You would recieve a follow-up notification from USCIS informing you of the details if it is to be scheduled as a combo joint I-751 and N-400 interview. In the follow-up notification it requested that the spouse attend the interview with the applicant, and what you're required to submit and/or bring. Buen suerte!

Hello, congratulations, I see that your N-400/I-751 is approved, can we please know what are the questions/documents officer asked you during the interview?

Finalized completion of our 4 year, 3 mouth immigration journey yesterday with combination I-751 & N-400 interviews. Received USCIS Form N-652 indicating "Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval..."  Now in the queue for notification of Citizenship Oath ceremony scheduled date.  Nearing the crossing of our immigration journey's finish line.  HALLELUJAH!!!

Congratulations, can you please provide the list of questions officer asked you and the documents you submitted??

  8. Hello I applied for my N-400 based on Marriage to USC and my I-751 is also pending since past 22 months. Recently I got a very good job offer which is approx 2 and half hours drive from my place. I am planning to take that offer and commute to work like 3-4 days (week days) stay near work place and be home on Fridays and weekends. Does it count like I am away from my spouse ? I mean I heard that both couple needs to live together until N-400 oath is completed. Technically even though I will be away during week days I will be with my family during weekends, during week days it’s just a place to sleep and take shower (mostly a room in someone’s apartment)not sure if it cause any problem during my interview. There are not many good jobs out here where we are living and not wanted loose this new opportunity.

Sooner. Under the Biden/Harris administration things are significantly faster. I got my interview notice 5 days after reuse. Keep checking documents tab

What’s soo interesting is people who actually went to give biometrics is getting lagged behind and waiting in the endless line. My biometrics appointment was completed in late Nov 2020 and till now no word about when I will get the interview notice. I am already past 11 months since applied.

    Hi Kranthi,

She didn't show a document to the senator, but we informed that we'd lose the house we're buying, her job, and her driver's license, which was all true. In the end it worked out but we were most worried as the average family needs two incomes to survive. I'd try senators as well in addition to the representatives.

Thank you for the update. I meant the document to show in field office, they mentioned for urgent infopass appointments we need to provide proof of your emergency to substantiate your claim. Does not it required ?

Update: we contacted a U.S. Senator and they got an appointment for us. They told us at 1145 and that the appointment was at 1330 at a place that was 1 hour 15 minutes away. We, uh, somehow made it and she got the i-551 stamp. That saves us A LOT of headache as far as her job and our house are concerned.

    Hello,

can you please let me know what is the document you carried with you to show it’s indeed an emergency request? I am in a same boat of you and I have new offer letter with me and contacted local congressman for infopass appointment.

    thank you.

  12. Needed assistance- my I-751 (applied- May 2019) and N-400 (April 2020) is pending adjudication and I-797 notice for 18 months validity is expired. My foreign passport is also set to expire by end of this month. I am in the midst of getting a good offer for a new job and now I am worried is there anyway I can show any documentation for I-9 E-verify verification? I am concerned about getting  I-551 stamp on expired (about to expire) foreign passport (don’t even know if USCIS will do that) Is there a way I can get any document that shows I am legal permanent resident from USCIS?? I heard about I94 stamp/document, but can’t find much information about it.

ps:my SSN shows work authorization with only Dhs approval requirement, so I can’t use it as one of the documentation for I-9 process with my new employer.

Literally here just wondering who were all of these people back in march and april that were being approved so fast... cus when I track it on the app it shows such a greater bunch not completed.

Most of them who are getting approved are people who live in Midwest or areas with low immigration. People from big cities are still in this endless wait , me from Fresno which has kinda a moderate wait time completed the biometrics in early December and waiting for the interview of N-400, I lost hope in I-751 approval and waiting to have it combined during N-400 interview.
