AheartA got a reaction from CA1515 in 2017 Mexico I-601a waiver processing time
Already knew. It was 1 of the first questions asked in the screenshot I posted. The dispositions were sent with the 601A and then the NVC documents. My husband also had the certified ones on hand. The interviewer had them in front of him and never asked for my husband's copies. I can only assume he had the 1s from our previous submissions.

Yes. You must pay the IV and AOS fees with NVC and include those PAID receipts with the 601A. USCIS will reject your packet if you do not include those receipts.

Not yet, but with this new case number with NVC email, there will be a checklist for documents to have to send to NVC. You can either send these while waiting for your 601A OR wait until it is approved. We opted for the latter option. They usually take up to 11 weeks to review these documents, but it takes less than that (usually 4-8 weeks nowadays).

AheartA got a reaction from Belbar in Placing NVC case on hold
Question: we are currently awaiting interview date for the consulate in Juarez. We have an approved I130 and I601A for a IR1 visa. Our case completed with NVC 1/11/18. From what I have seen, we are likely to be scheduled in April. We cannot go until May and thereafter. I have contacted NVC whom stated we can place a hold on the case and then place it into processing at a later date. I also understand we can miss the appointment and reschedule. What is the better process? What are the timeframes? How are theses processes carried out exactly? Hope you can help. TIA.

SAME HAPPENED TO ME with the email. They want my cosponsor's W2 for 2016 even though we sent it. We are gathering ALL (for the past 3 years and for 2017 when available) tax return transcripts and wage and income transcripts just in case. We received that 1/13, and received our interview queue email 1/19.

They are currently scheduling December ccs for March according to FB pages. I'm expecting our appointment for April (but am hoping for May and thereafter). If we get an appointment before May, we will have to reschedule. So, likely, you will get an interview date before July, if not, close to.

Most regular I601s have been taking longer than a year. There are great 601 and 601A groups on Facebook. It is a front-hand of actual people (in real time) who are going through it now.

    Ouch

Assuming you have no evidence of being inspected you file the I 601a to waive the ban you would get if you leave.

With an approved I 601A and I 130, I would assume 10 days or so to interview and obtain the Visa to come back

Issues I have seen have been where there have been other issues not waiverable by the I 601a, criminal record for example.

I don't have any legal advice for you, but I wanted to say that I am so sorry that you had to go through this. I would give you a big hug if I were able to. Maybe you can have the screenshots officially translated and notarized, it might help.

I'm sorry your marriage did not work out as you wanted it to. Let me ask you this... Did you ever meet his family or his friends in his country? I honestly don't know what can be done at this point. But if he hid that he had a woman and kids in his country, then that is major fraud.

AheartA reacted to Penguin_ie in This site is for support and advice, not judgement
Emotions are running high right now for many members of this site due to uneven processing times, and I wanted to address that, and how it regrettably leads to not-ideal behaviour from some. I am sure we all want this site to be the welcoming and helpful place that it was meant to be, a place where you can get advice, and also support during stressful times; a place where lucky ones get congratulated, and those having a more difficult or longer visa journey can let off steam. So, a fact first: getting your case processed fast or slow is often nothing to do with the couple; it is the luck of the draw as to which service center you get, and they go in cycle- the center that may be fast this year will be slow the next.

However, recently there has been some "them versus us", which I am very sad to see. We are all here to uplift one another, not tear eachother down for being lucky with a service center. Throughout the years, posters have exulted in these milestones by saying "I'm blessed!" "God/Jesus/Allah has approved my petition/granted my visa!" and similar. It takes nothing away from anyone else that they react in this way, and it doesn't change anyone else's situation. Quick processing at one service center is not a personal affront. It's out of anyone's control. On the other hand, it is also natural to want to complain and gripe about being unlucky for getting a service center that is currently slow, and missing one's loved one. This unhappiness does not take anything away from the people who are lucky/ blessed and got a quick approval, and the members who have slow processing have a right to be sad about that. It takes nothing away from anyone else that they react in this way, and it doesn't change anyone else's situation.
We are all in this together, regardless of the circumstances. It would be a shame if a continuation of divisive posting behavior spiraled into Terms of Service penalties. Please, take a moment to put yourself in another member's shoes before replying to a thread, and be respectful of eachother's feelings. If things were just a little different, you might be the lucky/ unlucky one.

I gave you the facts and proof.  They don't care, they just want their tax dollars.  Most with a fake SSN file with an itin.

Stop scaremongering.  It's not a crime of moral turpitude as I proved above.  Many spouses even here on vj confess on their AOS forms and in interviews of illegal work on a false SSN and AoS just fine.
