It has been 107 days for I-130 and 97 for my k-3.........nothing from CSC. should i be worried????? Most of the Indian filers get their approvals within 100 days...i wonder whats different with my case? the last genuine touch i received was end of april. should i contact an attorney....
nope, my case took a lot of time for the approval
i would try reaching them via the RFE line, when u call them, there is option for did u recieve any RFE from us, press that option and stay on for the real customer serv guyz, let them know ur case no...may be ur in a for a approval..cos, my online status still shows my case under progress, while i got a intrv date assigned by Chennai

Yeah, Mumbai is much slower due to the larger volume there. We're hoping for an late August/early September interview there. I'm going to India on either the first or second Friday of August to be with my wife for her interview and related proceedings. I can't wait!
Congratulations and good luck Citizen..

I am sort of new on this...need some advices. My check cleared and waiting for NOA1. My question is about interview. Do I have to accompany my fiancee during the interview process in Bangkok, THLD.? Is that a requirement or it is something that might benefit the outcome? I live in California, USA.
Your advices are greatly appreciated,
Chai...
chai, i dont think its a req, i didnt see it in any guides..and i was under impression that petioner isnt allowed inside the consulate..but recently a VJer MrsAyilliath accompanied her fiancee to the interview

Are you counting the days like me, citizen? I don't have an int date yet and I'm already counting the days
yep vikas, have been counting from aug 9th 06..the day we were married
Does mumbai assign intrv days for next month by 10th of the previous month?? Chennai does that
http://chennai.usconsulate.gov/appointments.html
i think Mumbai doesnt follow that rule, they assign any intrv n let u know 5-6 weeks ahead
http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/appointment_information.html
so in my case, imagining that my case reached them after 10th of this june, i couldnt have a chance of jul, but only august
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!thank u genesis

from then, went to india trice only thru lufthansa..hyd-frnfkt-houston
lufthansa definetly should gave flight from frnfkt to jfk..try them, they would give 2-3 hrs of change over at frnfkt

as so many immigrants from india and despite that so less postings here
think some seniors guiding other new comers in the original K3 section, and some ppl filling out the paper work, like me , i took a complete 4 days to fill out all my forms
some may be waiting out for pkt4
some may be eating off their nails or drinking away bottles of beer(which i am gonna do) when thier intr is scheduled
Requesting Birth Certificate
in Asia: South
Posted
i too have a doubt regds birth cert..we usually use our 10th standard (high school ?) marks list as proof of DOB..
but since we also need birth cert at the consulate, and this DOB is in native language, lucky that my wife got it translated into english long back
now, my problem is she doesnt have that original DOB written in tha native language, does she need this too at the intrv time? or just the translated cert is fine ?
TIA
