The statue of liberty watermark is used on all I-797 and I-797B documents. It means you got an approval for something. None of the other letters (I-797C, Interview appt, RFE, Biometrics, etc.) are watermarked.

They stopped updating from Nov 17 I think well at least for NBC/MSC. I think you should speak to a Tier 2 officer, he/she should be able to assist you.

You can call but your wife needs to be present, otherwise she has to call.
I just received my interview notice yesterday, for Jan 22, if it is your notice I would guess its for the begining of january,

I think you can call but ensure that she is there when you're speaking to the officer. If she is not present, let her call.

You should call tomorrow early in the morning and talk to T2, the notice says very clearly that if you dont show up AOS will be denied and the only option to reschedule is due to serious ilness. (According to the notice).

That's what I thought, I only got one notice from USCIS. It's possible it's an interview notice, but that would be pretty early. Although, my office is pretty far ahead in processing times.

I think its ur ead/ap approval letter. RFEs are sent on a plain yellow or pink paper with no liberty's arm.

Yes, I also think it is an approval for something because the RFE I got (not a real RFE, just for the medical) was on a yellow paper and I freaked out as soon as I saw it

Redheadguy03 got a reaction from Little_Vixen in If you had to do it again, K1 or CR1?
I am currently in the AOS process with my wife. Looking back I'd probably do the cr1, the waiting right now is just annoying. My wife gets bored because she can't work, but it's good having her here.

They're correct. You can basically wait forever to adjust, (because she's the immediate family member of a USC) however, once she left the country the overstay isn't forgiven anymore.
So, leaving the country triggered the ban and you'd need a waiver now.

First off calm down! We all had to wait and you need to be patient. The uscis always gives standard answers. So, while technically applications are still being done from December, ones from February have been approved as well.
All cases get sent to the CSC now.
I waited over 100 days for my NOA2 and that's pretty common. Others have waited 6 months or more for NOA2. The numbers on this website are pretty accurate most of the time. Their are always exceptions and people who have to wait way longer, while some get approved super fast. It's just the way it is and unfortunately you just need to wait.
I've been away from my fiance over 6 months, we all understand how you feel. Just try to be patient and talk to your fiance every day.

Got something in the mail from immigration today. Can't check the mall because I'm out of town, but I would assume it's the approval for the EAD. I'll keep checking he mail next week!

Redheadguy03 got a reaction from Unlockable in Tourist visa for my BF to meet my parents, I live with him in Costa Rica
It will be tough. He needs to be able to show strong ties back home. Usually things like a job and property help.
You can try and see, but if you really want him to get approved, I'd say he needs a job. You would probably come up at some point in the interview, but like you said I wouldn't mention it unless specifically asked.
If you deposit money right before for the trip that would set all kinds of bells off. Generally, you'd want a few bank statements, so if you had a sudden influx of cash in your account it obviously looks suspicious.
The least they can do is say no! Good luck!
