Finally!! got a reaction from Ring of The fire in Processing Times (I-751) for MSC (National Benefits Center)
All, our case was just updated. Now our status say "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". I don't think they approving without an interview. When I get the notice, I will update again.

Congrats! Did you include the G-1145 form to get email/text on the status? I think I got it because I included that. I haven't received NOA in mail yet.

1) Make sure you include credit card statements. They need to see the activities as well.
2) I included our checking and savings accounts letter from the bank (stating the joint owners and when the account was open with an average 12-month balance) and 4 months statements for each account.
3) I also included a copy of the sams club card and the receipts since December (you can download the receipts online). If you have Costco, include that too.
4) Utilities bills from my apartment and current home (i included past 5 months). The old one didn't have my wife's name.
5) Car title showing joint ownership (if you have it joint, include that)
6) **I saw in the instructions that they do need at least two affidavits (page 6 of 10, bullet point #5). Therefore, I included three. Two from family and one of our friends did.
7) I included pictures since 2017 (from the time my wife came to the US). I added the pictures in Word document, 2 to 3 pictures for each month and printed those papers. We did something or the other every other month.
8) Included health insurance card showing both our names in it.
9) Mortgage statements since December 2018.
I hope this helps.

Where did you send the papers? I sent it to Lewisville, TX
I was going to call them tomorrow but now going to wait until Thursday. It seems like people are hearing within a week. My wife's CR1 expires the following week. So, we are very nervous.

All the best to everyone! We sent our package on 3/4/2019 but haven't heard anything from them yet. They received the package on 3/6 per FedEx. Hoping to hear from them this week.

I wouldn't trust lawyers... they work with so many cases and it is very high likely they miss or screw 1 or 2 (heard from many people)... why didn't you do the papers by yourself?
scan your passport first and last page and email it to your lawyers so he/she can send it to NVC right away... if you courier or mail, you will be wasting few days or at least a week... take care..

True. It is. However, I read at many places that this is why NVC wants you to make sure you send all the papers and everything filled out correctly.
I would recommend you to speak with your senator and have them expedite the process or at least get it to Supervisor review.. At this point, who knows how long will it take for NVC to get to your case... my fear is what if they assign it to the supervisor and tell you to wait again for another 4 - 6 weeks... I am not trying to scare you... just saying. Senator office doesn't charge you any fee for their service.... they can contact NVC and embassy on your and your spouse's behalfs... its worth trying... I would say work with your Democrat senator. They are always there to help... Republican party senators aren't there for immigrants..... In my case, I had both Republican and Democrat senators to choose from... You may have only 1 option... check it out...
Here's the link to the list of senators in Hartford, CT. I am not sure who will be in particular for your district. http://www.senatedems.ct.gov/senators.php
Take care....

Here's what I think is happening at NVC. Part of the process at NVC for the review of the case is to check papers, enter into the system, and validate the authenticity. At the same time, they work with other government agencies. Sometimes these agencies don't respond right away. For example, FBI requires about 3 weeks for their process. So there is a delay. NVC works with many other agencies prior to completing the case to make sure there's no fraud. NVC also does not count weekends in that 30 days time period. Also, process differs from countries to countries due to risks involved with that country. This is why you may see some people get their case complete earlier than 30 days for certain countries.
Regarding the case#, Once NVC receive your case from USCIS, they wait for 2 weeks to give you the case number. They generally have your case# within 24 - 48 hours after receiving the file but they try to control their workload and do not give out case# until 2 weeks (+- 1 day) from the date they have received papers from USCIS. In my case, NVC received my papers on June 21st. So, July 5th was 2 weeks for me. I called NVC around 10:30 PM CST on July 1st. They said they don't have the case yet and it takes about 2 weeks. I called again on July 5th around 6:30 am CST and they gave me my case number. NVC was closed on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. No way someone worked over the weekend and early in the morning of 5th to get the case#.
So, my advice for all those waiting for case#, please wait for 2 weeks and then call them. Make sure you get Case# and Invoice ID.
For those who are waiting for CC, hang on tight. Its almost over. Believe me, NVC wants to get things done faster but sometimes those delays are beyond their control.
Al the best for those who are waiting for Case# or CC.
Thanks,

Yea. I hope so. I contacted them and they said my case is complete. I will get an email explaining the next steps. Also, once Embassy assign interview date, NVC will contact me again.
