Thanks!! Were you allowed to take your phone inside to the interview?
Yup, we were allowed to keep our phones with us once we got through security.

What kind it evidence did you provide? Also did you take photocopies of the evidence you already submitted with your application or just for the period after your application? Thanks!
I provided our lease agreement, car purchase documents, joint bank account statements, health insurance, trip confirmations, photos and social media printouts (because we rarely take pictures together). I brought copies of what I had sent in before, just in case, but the officer didn't need those.

Update: interview scheduled 7/6
MSC
Denver, CO
Timeline:
1/13/20 - Package sent
1/17/20 - NOA date
2/1/20 - Biometrics letter arrived (dated 1/24)
2/12/20 - Biometrics appointment done - online case status: "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken"
10/7/20 - Case ready to be scheduled for an interview
7/6/21 - Interview scheduled (awaiting notice in mail)
Just had my interview this morning. It went great! Interviewer asked for updated evidence, both of our IDs and passports. We are also in the process of moving so she noted down our new address for the green card but also said to file the ar-11 change of address form. Interview was from 10.05 to about 10.30. As soon as I got back home I saw a case status update that said my new card is being produced.

Thanks for the update Synthrian. Is your case at MSC? Also can you tell me the number that you called and how long the wait time was? Thanks much!
Yup mine's at MSC. I called 1800-375-5283 at about 12:15pm EST and the system said the wait time was ~90 minutes. They picked up my call about close to 80 minutes in.

Would you mind sharing the start of your case #? We are almost identical in timelines, so thinking of making my husband call and check on the status. We are 2090595****
Hey there. The first 7 digits of my # are just a few off from yours, if that helps.

Called USCIS today to check on my status - on the case status site it shows fingerprints applied on Feb 12, but the rep said as of October 7th my case has been placed in line to be scheduled for an interview, so not sure what kind of time frame I'm looking at here, or if this is different from "case ready to be scheduled for an interview". Good to know there is some movement though.

Congrats Cambo! Was your case originally sent to VSC or did it get transferred? Mine is at MSC finger prints were taken on Feb 12 and no movement ever since.
I have the exact same date my fingerprints were taken. No movement for me either.

Yes, MSC. We filed 1/13/20. Cross your fingers that we get the same status as our lucky case number neighbor...
That would be awesome! I happened to look at your timeline - I got married one day before you and our timelines are very similar lol. So now you've got me all excited and checking my status too

I just reverted it a few minutes ago. Someone modified the format so much, it was impossible to correct the errors short of full reversion. I wish there was a way to set permissions for data entry only.
I agree that would be ideal. Thank you for doing that!

If anyone has entered data into the MSC spreadsheet since march 5, 2020, please re-enter your data. I was forced to revert to a previous version due to extensive corruption of the spreadsheet format by unknown parties.........
Please just enter your data in a blank row.........😃 Don't change the format of the spreadsheet......
Thank you @BobKat for the information........
Ahh that explains why I couldn't find my info when I checked recently. I was pretty sure i'd put that in. Will re-enter my info, thanks!

I had my Biometrics appointment on 1/24 and my online case status never changed. Is that normal?
No idea. i wonder if it's just up to the individual application support center/employee whether they update the status

Wow that is so fast to get your biometrics appointment! Congrats! I thought that it usually comes after 5-6 months.
Thank you! Hoping they keep up the pace for the rest of the process as well

As I’m reading more...do you know..does everyone have to have an interview and are the spouses allowed to be there?
Not everyone has an interview. My case got sent to the National benefits center (MSC) though, and from reading that thread on this forum it seems a lot of people who get that service center are CR-1 visa holders and most get interviewed. Not sure though. And I think if we do get interviewed it would be both the spouse and beneficiary.

Yeah I feel now like I didn’t send enough but that’s all I had. My husband hasn’t even been here 2 yrs yet and i didn’t know I should’ve sent pictures. Well I guess we wait and see.
Same boat. I've been here less than 2 years too, so just sent what I had. And we don't have a car or house or kids, so not a whole lot. I just sent our apartment lease and joint bank account and health insurance, as well as travel itineraries. I did send pictures but not many.

Sure. It was pretty straightforward stuff for us:
what does spouse do for work, how long has spouse worked there?
do you want kids?
what was the last trip you took and why did you go there?
why are you moving to <city>?
do you own your home?
We had talked about me never meeting my spouse's parents so she asked about that as well. It was pretty conversational. She even excused herself halfway to grab some coffee from a colleague in the hallway.
That's about all I can remember. After that she made copies of our ID documents and that was it.
