  1. I hope so, I am just not wanting an RFE. No hotels in last 2 years. He's stayed at my house, and i've stayed at his when I went there. April 2004 I stayed in a hotel when I went over with my parents. But thats out of the 2 year time period.

I do have hotel recipets on my credit card statement from when we went to Niagara falls together, and he has the passport stamps to prove that. Show we were in the same place at the same time?

  2. Hey all. Quick question.

What evidence should I be definate to include on the evidence of meeting in the last 2 years? I have photos, passport stamps, and some bank statements showing where I went over Dec 2004, and where I paid for his last plane ticket here. Aside from that, i'm not sure either of us thought to keep the boarding passes. I checked on expedia and we can only get iteniary from this trip, not the previous 3 that were all bought off expedia as well. The tickets weren't bought on his credit card either, so no chance showing it that way. Do you think i'll have enough information? Or what else should I include?

  3. Hey everyone,

I wrote this question in a previous post, as a reply but only really got one reply to it.

I started filling out the I-129f and on the part for alien fiance it asks for address where they live now. There is a slot for street name and number, city or town, state or country, and then zip/post code. Problem is his address looks like...

House name (no number or street)

    Town

    City

    County

    Country

    Post Code

It won't all fit? Someone else suggested that I wrote it seperately and signed it. Right now I have it typed in on the pda format as house name and town, city and county, country, post code. If I was to only put the city or the town it wouldn't actually be his full address, and if they needed to send him something because of the house name (not street and number) he might not get it. Oh yeah and his town name is like 15 letters so it won't fit in any other slots! So many little things but you want to make sure they don't make it take any longer than it should!

  4. That's something we might have issues with. Showing relationship over the last 2 years. We both have passport stamps, which are the best in my assumption. Aside from that, very few pictures, some not with both of us. Only credit card stuff I can show is foreign bank transaction fees. Same for him. Phone bills, we use phone cards, but never really thought to keep them, so they've all been thrown away. We hardly email each other because we normally talk online, but don't save conversations? Do you think passport stuff and pics should be sufficient? I have a few letters and cards etc. I know I won't need most of the information until later on. Pics and passport stuff is fine for now, but i'm worried about the interview later on.

As far as pictures, most of them I have on the computer. Would they get mad about a black and white laser jet printer pic? I don't have a color printer.

  5. I just thought of something else!

I was starting to fill out the original pdf for the I-129f and come across a problem. His address? It has a slot for street name and number, town or city, state or country and then post code. He has.... a house name (No number), town, city, county, and country if you want to get his full address? I set it up as his house name and town in the first box, city and county in the 2nd box, and then country in the 3rd box. You think this will cause issues? I want to make sure they have the full address or else without a town name and city name if they were to send him anything he might not get it?

  6. Hey guys,

Quick question. I wrote on here a few weeks ago about possibly not sending in our paperwork this time because my fiance's sister's wedding will be around the same time. Anyway, we've decided to go ahead with it and hope for the best. How long did it take you to get all the material together? What items do I have to do with him here? He leaves on Oct 4th, and I want to make sure that I get all I need to make sure to get done before that period so i'm not sending things over for him to sign or something! Thanks!

  7. Hey everyone,

I haven't really been writing on here a whole lot, but i'm now faced with a dilemma that I need help with. My fiance who is here right now in America with me and I have been planning on sending our our K-1 visa packet before he leaves to go back home to England this time. He leaves on October 4th. I've already started the paperwork and everything. Dilemma is, we just recieved a message from his older sister saying that her and her fiance have set their date for their wedding, next October. I definately don't want him to miss out on his sisters wedding, as that's very important! We had planned on getting married next Sept if we got the visa in time, thats the major dilemma, it could be 6-12 months, we have no clue how long it will take. Can anyone offer me some advice here? If we send out the packet this time before he leaves and we were to get married before they did, would be able to leave so suddently after getting married? Do they have any exemptions to anything like that? He wouldn't have residency status yet probably if we got married in August or Sept next year before October. I'm so torn on what I should do. We've been wanting to do this for a long time now :( .

Any advice on the situation would be greatly appreciated! :help:

  8. Hey all,

I haven't been on here in a while, but I had a quick question. With the affidavit of support, does the person petitioning have to be the supporter? I thought you could get a sponsor, but someone I know told me that the embassy told her that you are no longer allowed to have sponsors that you have to show you can support them yourself. This will be a major problem for me as i'm a student and do not make the required amount. I wanted my parents to sponsor him coming here. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Well we haven't applied for a visa yet (we're hoping to get that started when he's here this time) so.. he'll just be coming in a visa waiver. Which, i'm not sure if there are any regulations to how many months you can spend in the US in one year, but this year... he's only been here for about a month and a half (2006 year) I'm thinking it'll be ok.

  10. I think we're going to go for it. As soon as I can make sure with him that he can get the airport and everything. I'm sooo excited, I hope this all works out and customs is a breeze. I can't wait. I'm getting a stomach ache thinking about it!!!!

  11. Hey all!

Ok, i'm new to this forum. But, I need major help. I wasn't really sure where to post this, and since its not really on the topic of any of the visa's listed, I figured i'd just put it in the off topic forum. Ok! I was looking online tonight and realized my fiance can be here tomorrow afternoon really cheap. We haven't seen each other in almost 5 months and i'd love more than anything for him to come. My dilemma is.... he was here from April - July 2005, and then from Nov - Feb 2006, neither time on an overstay. But, i'm afraid that immigrations might hastle him. Do you think they would deny him and send him home? What i've read so far, they've only done that to people who had an overstay. I'm sooo nervous, I want him to come, but i'm afraid of the consequences!!!

    Please write back.

    Thanks in advance!

PS. He can come in on the Visa Waiver program

  12. Hello Everyone,

I just joined this website. My Fiance and I just joined today, He's Serjicalstrike (posted before mine if I post this in time.) Just thought I would tell you all a little about us :) We first met in July of 2002 in London. He's from England, I'm from USA. Got together as a couple March 30, 2003. I then didn't see him again until April 2004 when I went to England with my family to London. We spent the week together, I spent a night at his house and met his mum. May 2004, he came to see me in Ohio to go to prom with me :). December of 2004, I went to England again the day after Christmas and stayed through New Years, meeting both his parents and sisters. April 2005, he came here to Ohio again, spent part of the summer. Nov 2005, He came here again and stayed through New Years.

We decided back in Feb 2004 that we wanted to get married, but have been procrastinating. We've been talking about it a lot more and have decided to get on the ball with this fiance visa and stuff. Not even sure where to begin, but... we've made it this far, we shall prevail 'till the end!

    :luv: My Man :D(L)
