  1. Congratulations, I'm happy it worked out for you!
  2. Yup it's IR-1 and ty for the info.
  3. Hi all, not sure if this is the right section to ask in, but for my wife's med exam at SLEC in Manila they are asking for her Immunization Records. She doesn't really have a record that she knows of and not sure how to check if she does. Would this be a problem if she doesn't have one? Thank you!
  4. So does that mean I don't need a wet signature, in other words I can just send a scanned copy of my signed Affidavit of Support for my wife to print? Thanks again!
  5. I'll have to try that. An account on the IRS website? Ty!
  6. To be honest I forgot about that. I don't think I have time to get it now since my wife's interview is on Feb 12.
  7. Hi all, I'm just double checking what is acceptable at the Interview for Financial Documents. I have my 2023 tax return and supporting documents for that already uploaded and accepted on the CEAC website and my wife's IR-1 interview is scheduled for next month. On the travel.state.gov website it seems to indicate that my wife needs to physically bring the AoS I-864, tax return and supporting documents linked to that to the Visa Interview, but doesn't specify that these docs need to be original or certified in some way. Most of my financial docs are just printed, but SOME were mailed to me like W2s and I can use those. I have 2 tax docs from Uber/Lyft that were available on their website and I just printed them, is that okay to use or does it need to be mailed to me from them? Also I'm assuming I can just print paystubs my employer emails to me for proof of current income as well? Thanks so much!
  8. Yes there is an option to print an Appointment Confirmation, it looks like it includes both the Biometrics and Interview on the same set of 5 pages. I just didn't want to assume that "Appointment Confirmation" and "Interview Appointment Letter/Notification" are the same thing since the wording alludes to something being "sent" to me versus something I generate myself. So I'm guessing the confirmation on ustraveldocs will suffice? Thanks. Ah okay, makes sense. Ty!
  9. Yes that's true, I didn't state any 2024 income. Current income is what is important. As you told me in another post I can just bring the W2 to show what was earned in 2024. Thanks.
  10. Yeah that makes sense and helps me feel better that they can see my W-2 for additional proof. Thank you.
  11. Hey all, just hoping for some clarification on document requirements for all the immigration appointments my wife will attend. For all 3 appointments (Biometrics, Medical & Interview) it lists either an Interview Appointment Notification or Interview Appointment Letter as a document requirement. The US Embassy Manila never notified us of an interview date, we had to self schedule my wife's IR-1 interview once her case status changed to "ready." The only notification I ever received was the NVC telling me that the Manila Embassy had "expedited" our case and everyone in the immigration community told us that meant we had to schedule ourselves. The Embassy never contacted us after that. My questions are: 1). What would we use for that document requirement then? 2). I'm assuming Interview Appointment Notification/Letter is the same thing? Screenshot of the VAC requirements attached. 3). There is also a requirement of the completed DS-260 on the VAC checklist. Does this mean that in addition to the DS-260 Confirmation we need the entire printout of the filled out form? Thank you!
  12. Nice, that's great. Thank you for the help!
  13. Hi all, My wife's IR-1 visa interview is scheduled for Feb 12 and so I'm wondering since I won't even get my W-2s until Jan 30th, will I need to send my 2024 federal filed tax return for the Interview/Include with updated Affidavit of Support? Thanks so much!
  14. Just to clarify, my year to date income "might" not add up to the annual income requirements since my 2nd job I didn't get hired until March 2024, if that makes sense. Of course my combined hourly amount does meet the payrate at 125% easily. I'm assuming they check my paystubs and payrate and just do the 52 week calculation? Otherwise I can see how the year to date income on the last paystub of the year can definitely show consistency of income. Thank you again!
  15. Thank you sir for the advice. Yes you are right, I just looked it up. I'll call and ask. Thank you!
  16. Hi all, My wife will be in Manila, Philippines for her IR-1 interview starting Jan 29 and I'm wondering if I can just mail her my documents while she is there in Manila? She will be in an airbnb, but is it possible to have the docs picked up at an official location of sorts? Thank you!
  17. The only problem with my year end paystub for one of my jobs is that I missed some hours on it so instead of 40 hrs full time it shows 32. Not sure that would be the best one to show them. Thoughts?
  18. Oh okay, just send her the pdfs and that's good enough? Also is like 4 or 5 previous paystubs ok? Thank you!
  19. Hi all, Thanks always for any advice. Recently my wife and I scheduled her interview for Feb 12. She has her biometrics on Jan 30th and I'm wondering if I send her docs before she leaves for Manila on Jan 29 they will be 2 weeks old such as employer letters, paystubs, etc. Would this be a problem at the interview?
  20. Hi all, I helped my wife schedule her biometrics and interview appointment for her IR-1 visa on the https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/en/immigrant-visa website. I saw on one of the guides that you need to pay a visa fee of some sort before you are even able to schedule an appointment, but it never prompted us to pay. Did we do anything wrong? Thanks so much for any advice!
  21. Thank you for all the useful information! Me and my wife are working through the process of the new Visa Appointment system and trying to see the available dates for appointments now.
