Submitted October 4 2018, California. Fingerprint Fee received same day. Showed Fingerprint Review completed March 15 2019, without a biometrics appointment. Received a letter around July 2019 to go for a biometrics appointment the following week (very short notice). Did the biometrics, the case tracker never updated, until yesterday, November 21, with Card Being Produced. I wish everyone luck and patience!oh!!! congratulation!! I submitted on October 8th 2018, same as you fingerprint in July.....
hope something is moving for California filers

I am exactly in the same situation as you.
yesterday I chatted with a live representative in the USCIS website and she told me that the case online is updated by the officer assigned to the case
I had biometric done in July, but my status is still Fingerprint fee received.
I have a fried who applied in July 2018 and he got his Green Card in September 2019...so I was hoping we get ours in December.🤞

I applied in California and even though I moved to the Midwest in January and then applied for Citizenship in October no movement was made about my I-751. I am still hoping that after I do the Biometrics for the n-400 they will transfer my I-751.
I went to first site you mentioned and it says case was received...
So even worst....
my case was not transferred....
Hope something is moving anyway

no approval yet and status online is still fingerprints fee received, even if I had biometrics done in July.

Biometric done July 10th, on the old site it still shows fingerprint fee received, new site shows "we received your case"
Hope it is going to change soon.

a couple of months ago I got a letter saying that they were going to reuse my biometrics, but last Saturday I got the appointment for the biometrics.
Isn't weird?
Anyone else in the same situation?

In the divorce sentence is stated that the children must live with the mother and he can visit them anytime.

They can apply but the embassy are required to assume that the children want to immigrate. Parents can fill in the online application for minor children and your husband can tell the children that he will pay for the cost of it but that’s it.
They have to show why they are required to return to their own country, school enrollment, mothers statement showing that they are permitted to visit but not stay.
Its a a long shot but if they have the means to pay for the interview.
Thank you Illiria, I was thinking the same, that probably at the embassy they will assume that the children want to immigrate, even though this is not the case.
I will tell my husband and see what he thinks about that.

Hello!
My husband is permanent resident and he would like to petition for tourist visa for his children, so they can come here in the US to visit him.
Are there any restriction for that? I am thinking this because maybe at the consulate they can think that the children want to live here, but they just want to visit his dad here.

. Unfortunately our local post office mishandled the card and it was either lost or stolen by a postal employee . The tracking number record clearly shows that it was received at our local post office two days after it was sent by USCIS and was supposed to go out for delivery but no delivery attempt was ever made. The problem was that USCIS never sent us a tracking number after the card was sent and the message that they send tells you to only inquire if you have not received the card within 30 days. By the and finally got the tracking number too much time had passed and my wife's card was nowhere to be found.
I called the Post Office to file a report but they said that even though they cards are sent through Priority Mail that they are not insured so they will not compensate us even though they are responsible for losing the card or it being stolen from their facility.
Bottom line is that we had to file an I-90 to have a replacement card sent. The cost to file an I-90 if the card was never returned to USCIS is $540.00 and I had no choice but to pay it. We filed back in the the beginning of March electronically and they said it could take up to 6 months to receive a replacement. Maria also had to go have another biometrics performed.
So even though she was approved back in December, we are looking at possibly late summer before she has her card in her hand and can finally relax.
I stress to anyone who has been approved, once you get that e-mail or text that says your card has been sent, if the tracking number is not there, call them immediately and get the tracking number so you can follow the progress of your card. I'm sure ours was an isolated incident but nonetheless it is frustrating when everything has gone right prior to that.

Can I suggest you to sign up in My USPS so when the green card will be mailed, you will get an email with the tracking number.
4 days after the interview I got an email from my USPS with the tracking number for a priority mail coming from Korbin (If i remember correctly)...then after 2 days I got an email saying that the mail was undeliverable as addressed
my address was correct.....so I went to the post office and I asked to speak to a Manager
the Manager was able to find out who was the mailman and to retrieve my green card before it was going to be sent back.
I understand your frustration, because I was so mad with all the Post office.
Hopefully your wife will get the card soon
