Hi everyone. I'm surprised to see there exists such a community where everyone is helping each other out, so I thought I'd try my luck here.
I'm the son of a greencard holder (my dad) who is passing me a visa through F2A. I've been kept in the dark, mostly, but I left before I turned 18, and have been here since June (we filed in February 2016). I have no idea when I'm coming back and was hoping for some answers. Every month our immigration lawyer says something different. I live in Rio de Janeiro. Which date should I be looking at with the charts? It says April of 2016 for F2A in one of them, which is past February, but the other one says June of 2015, which worries me. Can anyone help? Thanks.you need be looking at chart A for interview
and chart B for sending documents to NVC.

Is there anybody who passed the interview but still no invitation to oath? Today is two months since I passed and no updates since then. I even not sure if there is any reason to waste time and call them because of this 120 days rule. Did anybody try? Actually the question could be different - was there any positive story about calling them?
mine has been 30 days im calling today to see what they say. because my case status still say interview was schedule

ah ok..did you talk with l2 officer?that's not bad what they told you because they usually say you have to wait 120 for a decision in your case but if they have told you to wait until 21rst is because you will have news very soon.suerte y espero yo tambien pronto tenga noticias tambien
yeah i spoke to tier 2 officer. she also congratulated me for oath ceremony and the end of the conversation don't know if that means anything. I hope so too because im traveling in June and i would like to travel as citizen

My wife filed her n-400 in september (end of september). She just had her interview. And it went really well. They couldnt give an immediate decision, because of her history. However, the officer told her congratulations anyways. Just wanted to say lurked the entire time and it was nice to see all your stories. I will post an update when we get an official approval!.
what is her history ? i have the same issue still waiting for the official approvel

Hi Maria, I called the number and actually got through to a person very easy and she was actually very nice but she didn't have any more information. She said I should call again after May 24 if I don't get the letter.
I am not sure if she was a tier 2 officer, but at this point it looks like I'm not on tomorrow's list for DC since hopefully she would have been able to tell me that even if the letter was still in the mail.
you should ask to talk to tier 2 officer. the person that answer the phone only give you the answer that is in the web site. only the tier 2 is able to get into detail about you case.

Hmmm, I didn't think of that. I guess I should call right now since the ceremony is tomorrow.
Do you happen to have the number you called written down? I will search for it of course but if you have it that's even better.
