    More time for what? Don't you have to prove non-immigrant intent for an F1? I think that is still the case right now. A dual intent employment visa seems more logical to me. This administration is not playing with loose rules any more.

    This is not a good time to be out of status for ANY reason. A deportation can mean a very difficult path back to the US. This is well outside the scope of a DIY site.

    An I-130, itself, confers NO right to stay in the US....none. On what basis are you living in the US?

    Exact date are extremely important.....Is your timeline correct? If so, you are cutting it extremely close. The earliest USCIS can receive it is 9/14/2025. I would not send the package until after the 15th. Good luck on the rest of your journey.

    I would advise you to wait a few days after the window opens to send the package. There is no need to send it before the window opens. There are multiple cases, here on VJ, where people have accidentally filed too early. Many people choose to do that.

    There are multiple cases, here on VJ, where a person left the country without an approved advance parole. The difference is that I don't recall those people trying to get back into the US. Had she not been at a land crossing, she would have avoided detention. To say that CPB, under Biden, would have paroled her into the country is speculation, imo.

    You need to become an "A" student of the process in the guide I posted. As @appleblossom stated, You will not be able to work or leave the US for up to 8 months. Good luck on your journey.
