    What if your i-129 got approved even though the letter of intent to marry only signed by the petitioner, could this cause an issue for the embassy to send back the case to the USCIS just because of this missed signature ??

      NVC will return the petition to USCIS.

    Well we submitted our removal of conditions on the 90th day, they accepted and now we have our bio appointment. Get an email from VJ that says our approval estimate date is August 6, 2023, I just hope its sooner. Keeping fingers crossed. Waiting is the worst !

    K1 with hardship.  

    I would like to know if any fiancee from eastern Europe made K1 visa with hardship from the side of your fiance other than medical reasons. The main question did hardship worked for anyone.

      It is probably a sequence number.....are there K2s in your case?  Maybe you should email the consulate if you are so concerned.

    I've always been thinking about what happened to my immigrant visa application, yes I was offered a 221g to provide tax transcript only with my passport returned to me. I sent the transcript after two weeks through DHL as I was instructed on the 221g, after two days I was placed on AP (admin processing).

    Now I've been thinking did they actually receive the tax transcript cos I never got a msg from the embassy (Nigeria) to confirm they got it.

    Secondly, was I suppose to upload it on ceac account? Though I was following their instruction to get and send it to them through DHL which I did. Interview was in October 2019. Ceac status is now showing expiring soon. Wife and I are really fed up with the whole process and are confused. Replies we get at times  when we send email to embassy says Admin processing.

    Honestly we wish they cancel the whole thing so we can start again since I got denied visa becos of tax transcript then we will have it this time and also upload it and not just the W2.  

    We don't know what to do but just wait, now it seems we'll wait forever.

      Starting again would not necessarily eliminate the need for extended processing next time.  Stay in contact with the consulate.  You can ask them specifically if they have received everything needed from you.  Good luck.

    Please moderators! Add "AOS" option to those who started CR/IR visas Consular processing but had to abandon it and switch to AOS from the United States due to COVID-19 (or other reasons)!

    I cannot update my status and I would like to.

      You should be able to "Edit profile" to change from IR-1/CR-1 to Adjustment of Status (pending)......I just tried it, and it works.
