  1. I tried to order our tax transcripts for 2019 but for our luck this pandemic happened so now the IRS is not sending out transcripts thru the mail, online only. And when we try to make an account we get to the last verification it is the phone of course it does not work for our cell company ..thanks Spectrum. I pretty much figure we will have to wait until the IRS offices are open again...ANY THOUGHTS? Thanks

I thought she had her N400 filed and that's why it took only 4 month for ROC. I really don't know, but the 4 month period for an interview for 751 doesn't happen a lot these days. As for not approving you right away, it can be a lot of things. It can be that the officer was new and needs higher approval from a higher rank or a senior officer or something. It can be that he found something that triggered him and didn't want you guys to know it and he's gonna do some investigation and then approve you application. I wouldn't worry about it if you know that everything is good with you guys and your evidence was enough to prove your marriage. It's all about the wait game unfortunately. Good luck to you guys

Thanks she was approved to remove the conditions and the gc will be in the mail less than 60 days. We recieved a approval notice dated the same day of the interview but didn't get the paper until 3 days later.

  3. Received this on the USCIS website update status check....hmmm

    Interview Cancelled And Notice Ordered

On August 21, 2019, we cancelled your interview for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number MSC*&^%$^, and mailed you a cancellation notice. We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if we need something from you. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by !@#$$ 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

  4. Our experience was kind of tense but relaxed because at least this part is over for the most part...so we thought. I as the American was question second and was told that the USCIS needs to look at a few things and my wifes' new green card will be in the mail in at least 90 days. The officer questioned my wife first

    1. Whats your husbands full name?

    2. Where was e born?

    3. When was he born?

    4. What is his job?

    5. When and where was your son born?

My questions were the same but just to confirm what my wife said about me and her information

I was given a sheet of paper saying that the USCIS was unable to complete your case at this time. Your case is being continued until a final decision can be made. The following explanation was given on the paper also held for review the USCIS does not require any further information or documents from you. if we need info or another interview a request will be in the mail.  Otherwise a final decision will be mailed once your case is complete.

The officer told me ," Everything is fine, we need to check a few things and then your wifes green card will be in the mail." Dont worry" I asked did we have enough evidence? Yes you had enough but USCIS is making sure if the marriage is real by interviews more than ever now."

So we will see in here before the year is out ...thanks for reading our experience

maybe bring W2, in case they ask?!

(that's what I did for my interview. Interview Date: Mar. 21st)

Hello I have a question concerning the financial docs. Did you update them or submit the same one you submitted to NVC? I understood you brought the 2016 W2 but what if your w2 and taxes said you made more after filing? We submitted the aos before the last check of December so it would be more after filing correct and more is better correct?

Hi guys!!! It's been a while!

So I entered the US via Los Angeles Airport (LAX) POE two days ago. I didn't have any troubles at all with the immigration. The officer at the counter basically took my packet and passport (and gave back my x-ray CD), then radioed for someone else to come pick me and my husband up and take us to secondary check. I was only asked when we got married--the rest of the time he was inside his tiny room inputting stuff on his computer. After a few minutes he emerged from said room with instructions about green card mail, etc. He gave me a CR1 visa since we haven't been married for two years upon my entry.

I kinda hoped he would say the usual "Welcome to America!" final words, but he didn't which was a bit anti-climactic lol. He mumbled a short "welcome" and we were on our way out.

Good luck to everyone still waiting for interview dates and interviews!

    Welcome
