    Congrats!!!  So awesome!

My wife's is still at "Fingerprint Fee Received" at NBC since May 3, with a May 9 NOA1 date and June 1 biometrics - EAD/AP received 3 weeks ago on Friday.  I've heard sometimes they get stuck at NBC and it takes longer but maybe they skip the interview if that happens, we'll see and of course let you all know.

many congrats again obgynkenobi, glad and encouraged to hear that another Filipina has been approved :)

Thanks:) you'll soon have yours too.. okay so i don't need to visit SS then.  I had my name updated after the wedding. Right now im just waiting for the GC to arrive then have my state ID updated and get a DL. i would still be here reading our threads and perhaps answer in best of my knowledge :D

  2. Hello my dear friends!

So the interview was today And I'd like to share how  it went.  Appointment was at 1430H but, we weren't called about an hour after.

Interview with the IO was smooth. First, my husband and i took oath. He asked for my fullname, birthdate, employment status and present address. Told him we moved to a new address but preferred the GC to be mailed to the previous address( so its possible, you just have to indicate a change in physical address but mailing address remains the same). Then he turned to ask my husband his fullname, birthdate and employment status. He asked us if we have any documents to add to our case. So, we gave him photos of the wedding, recent family events we attended and random photos taken at our place. And also documents which we both had our names on it. After that, he then told us that we'll be receiving the conditional GC since the marriage is less than 2 years. He also reminded us about what documents to prepare for filing ROC. The interview took less than 15 min. Few minutes after we got out the building, i received sms/email that my card is in production.

I can still remember how i got stressed out about the biometrics appointment

To everyone who helped, thank you so much. At least for now, we get to have that long time out with USCIS.  Time to get DL and a job. Or perhaps a vacation..lol

Before i forget, about the SSN. Do we need to update them? Thanks!

Hope everyone is getting positive results.

    Hello !

Nope, you should not be concerned :) -  It's because you are getting the combo card. My EAD was sent to production on the 16th - heard nothing for AP and was worried too but I received today in the mail, notices of approval for both ! Meanwhile, case status for AP is still " Case was received " lol

yayy! i just got an update just few minutes ago that card was mailed to me...and yep AP is still "case was received"... must've been the eclipse lol'

  6. hello my dear friends! so did you get a glimpse of the eclipse? isnt it such a beauty? i watched the live coverage. since it ran out of eclipse glasses everywhere, i just did the pinhole with the index card:D got my neighbors involved too:D

okay so things are really running smoothly and fast now. i got an update last august 17 that my ead is being produced. so im guessing itll arrive this week. however, no word yet with regards to ap. should i be concerned? or is it because im getting the combo.

@lovewins2016 thanks for the info. i hope the ead card will be the combo one. has it happened where the ap doesnt get updated and the rest of the cases are moving?

@strider4 im thinking its getting fixed..lol must be the eclipse:jest:

@atticus2017 whew what a relief in our part that updates are coming in except thats it late and thats disappointing...

almost home stretch with this journey(its never ending lol) i hope you guys have a great week ahead..heres to always hoping all of us gets a smooth sailing journey:D

  7. @strider4 hi thanks! will do.:D here's the funny thing. the status updates just popped up at exactly 5pm today alongside with the text updates like 5 at the same time! hopefully it did cause what if it got lost in the mail and no online status update? that'll be more stress on us right?

@cyanmavi hi thanks! thanks for the heads up! :)im sorry i need to make a clarification on that. it should be i have not filed the i693 form instead of i did not include etc...i believe if my medical is within 1 year then its not yet expired so im good. i am aware though that not all(from what ive read) IO are aware of this. so im crossing fingers. will update you guys too how the interview will go:D

@McBen hi thanks! oh so i shouldve raised that concern when i made an infopass...totally forgot about it cause i was thinking ead/ap will not move unless the bio's done so i didnt pay much attention to it...what will happen if the GC comes before the ead/ap? thanks!

@lovewins2016 hi! thanks. i know thats why i was thinking when i received it in the mail yesterday. i did checked my online status but nada...but guess what, today at 5pm, i received 5 texts all at once. then i checked my online status, it changed! it said as of August 10, we scheduled your interview on sept 13 etc.... see, what if it gets lost in the mail and the online updates are late...that'll be so stressful on our side...yea i understand about the i693...i hope the IO that is assigned to my case knows about the validity:blink: crossing fingers and toes until the interview for that:D

@papasmf thanks! thats what i was thinking too about the i693...i shouldve received rfe for it but i didnt so i guess its a go :D regarding the ead/ap, it totally slipped my mind. i thought it aint gonna move unless the bios not done. so im doing the sr. thanks:D wait, what happens when the GC comes first before ead/ap?

thanks everyone! weeww...we're all in this together....almost there almost there....

  8. Hi my fellow april/may filers! hope everyone is good...so a little update on my status..remember that long wait on the bio apt which took almost 2 months wait after 2 service request and an infopass...well guess what im scheduled for interview next month! yay!:D received the letter yesterday. no updates thru email/texts, the app nor the from uscis account...so thats it...

my question now is that my ead/ap hasnt moved at all...and im on the 106th day. should i ask for service request by this time? or am i still within time frame?

another one, i didnt include the i693 form in my application since my medical is within the year time frame so its not yet expired. i did attach the vaccination record. should i be worried? should i go get a civil surgeon to update? or wait it out til interview. cause from what ive read, one dont need the i693 as long as the medical is within timeframe. but then again its case to case basis...so a little confused here...and i also didnt receive any rfe regarding it  so right now im thinking im in the safe zone?:D id really love to have inputs from you guys. thanks! you all have a great week!

Good to hear you've made some progress at last.

I wouldn't believe a word of what USCIS say regarding your biometrics. I only received an appointment when my congressman's office stepped in. The lady who was handling my case at the congressman's office printed off my appointment letter on a Friday (14th) for me to take to my appointment the following Monday (17th), which was very fortunate given that the appointment letter USCIS finally got around to sending me arrived yesterday (21st) a full four days after my appointment,

hi! thanks! i know they're like going in circles and give out all sorts of reason... when i went there for an infopass on the 14th, when the lady opened my noa1, she said: wow, you shouldve been done with your bio along time ago...so, she said hold on and went to an office, i presumed she had it consulted with an officer...when she came back, guess what, viola i was scheduled the next week...whew...but im glad though im done with the bio...

  12. hi everyone! great to hear about everyone's progress out here... well, for me, finally after 2 service requests and 1 infopass, i was finally done with biometrics. no update on all the cases yet as of today..so the waiting continues... its just so disappointing that the only thing and reason the uscis gave me when i went for an appointment why it has taken so long to have the bio scheduled?! well, mustve been lost or misplaced somewhere on the shelves, and she even said i shouldve been done by now and couldve gotten updates on all cases...sigh..well, at least its done now.

    have a great week everyone!:D

How are everyone's cases going? It seems like a lot of folks have already gotten their biometrics letters and/or have already had them taken. Woo! I know a few of you are still awaiting your biometrics appointment letter. :(

still waiting here. case active for 36 days. made an inquiry on the 29th day, they gave me confirmation # and that i should receive it by the 15th. then was told to call them if still nothing beyond that...sigh

    have a great day!

I am so frustrated. Pkg delivered Apr 26, noa may 2. No RFE. Still waiting on biometrics. I called them a few days ago they told me to wait until today 6/1 to call again to create service request. So I just called today and they told me to call tomorrow 6/2. Anyone still waiting for biometrics like I am?

Hi! I feel you. We are on the same boat. I called them the other day. They did give me a confirmation # and that I should receive my bio appointment in 15 days or so.

Ours got cashed May 23 and we haven't heard anything about a bio appointment yet.

Hi! been waiting for my bio appointment letter since may 2nd. so you are still good. it usually takes 7-10 days from noa1 before you get the bio appointment letter. some even longer. and when you get passed 30 days you can call costumer service and inquire. that's what happen to my application. i called them on the 29th day and they gave me a confirmation number for the bio appointment letter. hope this will lessen your anxiety.

As an update, just decided to check my account and show both checks pending the 1225 and 535.

On the USCIS page, everything shows "Case was received etc etc" but the 485 shows "we accepted the fingerprint fee...." - should I be worried since they just mention the finger print fee or is it just a canned response message since they are in process of doing the entire 1225(bio + 485 fee)?

Hi! No, you need not to worry. once you received the noa1s, the application fee will be reflected on the receipt notices.

Hello everyone  all be sending  my AOS this June I guess that makes me a June filer.  My question is which the right address to send all the AOS documents? Or every states has a different address And do u include  wedding photos as part of evidence? Joint bank outs? Thank you.

Hi good morning! I didn't include wedding photos and joint bank accounts. Its not stated in the requirements. But if you want to front load your case, I think it's okay.
