I had my Naturalization interview on April 2nd 2018, of which I was approved. However my I751 is still pending (dating back to July 2016). At the start of the week I received a letter in the mail advising that my application or petition had been transferred to the National Benefits centre for processing. Obviously everything is on a case by case basis, but is there a rule of thumb as to how long each case takes?

I have the exact same scenario. Had interview on 21st of April and got letter about the transfer to the NBC On may 5th. Please share your updates will do the same.

I know it is not over yet but I am in tears after getting the following message after 1 year 6 months and 14 days. I am a July 11, 2016 - I751 applicant and also August 4, 2017 - N400 applicant:
On January 25, 2018, we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC********. We will send you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
WE ALL ARE ALMOST THERE. HOLD ON TIGHT GUYS!!!!

UPDATE: My wife's ROC application was never processed at CSC. She had her citizenship interview on 12/20 and it was a double interview where the officer asked her questions about our relationship alongside the normal citizenship topics (even though I came with just in case, I was not involved in the interviews at all). She passed both interviews and will have her oath of allegiance on 01/18. Because of this, no 10-year green card was ever issued and the immigration officer approved the ROC at the same time as approving her N-400. We're done with this stuff once and for all.
Congratulations Guys!!! What a relief, right?

It is about what you want - if your ultimate goal is Citizenship then you are on the right track. Pull up thing sounds a bit messing it up more to me... There is an end for every process - Since this is a process do not let it affect your life... Be strong we are almost there

I am a July 11, 2016 VSC and I applied for the N400. Got the following email which explained at least what is going on... For those who are still waiting...
No regret to apply for N400 while pending I751 cuz it`s a wrap and hope will end up great
Email from VSC:
As you explained you have two (2) pending applications a Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751); and anApplication for Naturalization (Form N-400)
As you filed Form N-400, with Form I-751 pending, the processing of your Form I-751 has stopped. At this time, your immigration file is currently located at the National Benefits Center (NBC). Once the NBC has completed review your immigration file, the file will be sent to your local office for review and consideration. At your local office both your Form I-751 and N-400 will be worked concurrently.
The Vermont Service Center cannot provide you with a completion date for your Form I-751 as the processing of your Form I-751 will resume at your N-400 interview.

I do not believe it is because of the form number. Remember in the biometrics appointment notice there were two different number. Try to use the other case number and I believe it will work...

It will take 3-4 days for the site to be updated...My horror story was receiving the letter and calling the USCIS customer service the next day to make sure the letter was not a gig and the rep couls only tell me the case was received July last year and no information beyond that.The site got updated yesterday and I was sent an email notification that the New card is being produced.So just wait and they will update soon
Another proof the USCIS call centers are just answering placebo machines :/

just a quick question:
anybody have passed the extension letter deadline and not get the stamp? Is the stamp necessary if you don’t travel?
My extension letter expires next week and I have not got the stamp on my passport - should I or keep waiting?
