I was wondering if anyone has sent in their AOS and IV packets before the IV was invoiced? I paid the AOS of $120.00 but the IV has not been released for payment yet...I did the DS-261 and had it confirmed over the phone. I have the AOS Doc cover sheet. Was thinking of submitting the packet as one like they request. Any suggestions.

You don't have to wait. You can use AOS cover sheet from the payment portal. Whiteout AOS for IV package.

So excited! My interview was scheduled today! Date is Aug 9 - at the Slovenian embassy. Hope time goes by fast!

NVC received our AOS/IV packets on July 8th. Is that my scan date? I called last night and asked about a scan date but he said "it takes up to 6 weeks for us to review your packets"?

I plan on calling tomorrow if I don't get CC today. I was just wondering what the last scan date was that got CC so I can at least estimate their progress... the last was June 6th or 7th right?

Yeah as far as I remember. I did not see anything after June 8th yet.

I would suggest you to call NVC and find out what's going on. Even I was so nervous. Mine took 32 days for CC. So hang in there you might get your CC anytime.

No nothing yet. Hopefully we will hear something by the end of this month.

I received my case # and ID # tonight over the phone I went in the forms portal and filled out the DS-261 as it was available online. Did I do that to fast? Was I to wait for an email? I saw where the bills were for the AOS and IV but they said not invoiced yet. Was it okay to do it this way?

No you don't have to wait for email. You might get your AOS fee invoiced tomorrow. Mine was unlocked next day after filling DS-261. I would suggest you to call NVC and review you DS-261 over phone, so your IV fee gets unlocked soon.

we did not receive anything we just called ourselves to confirm and the lady said yes we received it on 5 Jul

Yeah, some people did not receive any email and still got CC.. As long as they received your docs, you don't have to worry about it. Hope you get your CC by Aug 5th.

and i have a Q from you , we sent our DC and they received it on 5th July we called to confirm and they said yes they recieved it on 5th how do you know your scan date is that the scan date when they received it?

Then July 5th is your scan date. Scan date is when NVC received your packet. They usually send a letter out saying they received your documents on so and so date. Please alow 30 days to complete. Good luck!

Thanks! I had submitted all documents with district office police clearance at first. But Mumbai consulate only needs PCC from Passport office. NVC rep and people from this forum said they won't complete the case unless they have PCC from passport office. So I had to send just the PCC with the bar coded cover sheet which was my second scan date.

I had NVC review and approve my DS-261

Paid my AOS/IV fee. The AOS payment is now 'PAID' the IV fee is currently 'In Progress' but I can;t seem to click any of the links for the documents? How does one get access to the DS-260 document so I can fill it out?

I have a sample of the DS-260 filled out and the AOS documents, but wondering how do I get the official DS-260 and upload them?

Do you actually get a physical packet in the mail? Here in Canada, our postal service is threatening to go on strike for a few weeks now, so I'm unsure if I will receive the physical items.

DS-260 is online. Once your IV fee status goes to 'Paid' status your DS-260 form will get unlocked. Unless you pay IV fee you won't be able to access DS-260 form.

I am sponsoring my mum and my son, so I will fill I864 for mum and I864W for because he is a minor and am a USC. But now I need a joint sponsor to add up my 2015 income because I didn't make enough money. My friend has accepted to do it but I don't know if he will be filling I864A or just I864 like mine? If yes, is he going to fill out 2 copies since there are Beneficiaries. What documents is he going to submit to NVC as a joint sponsor?

If you have a joint sponsor then he will have to fill I864. If your joint sponsor did not file jointly then there is no need of I864A. I864A is when if your joint sponsors tax returns is joint with his wife then his wife needs to fill out I864A.
