  1. Hey did you got your NVC number already?

For what I've read in the Juarez consulate information sheet, you don't have to send anything back, just take the documents they ask for to the interview.

    Here's the link: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/CDJ%20-%20Ciudad%20Juarez.pdf

Please let me know if you can schedule the interview once you get your nvc case number.

Did you fill out your DS160 already? Apparently you dont need the NVC number, they just ask for USCIS number. After this you can Schedule your interview with the NVC number and DS160 number

Please let me know your progress so I can follow your steps!

    Good luck

  2. The party has started April.. I repeat the party has started... Approval June 20, 2016

    Woohoo.... Congratulations!!

From what I see at the app (of the 400 cases range i follow)

129f received Apr 01 got at least 6 approvals today (out of 200) 3 approvals for april 4th (out of 100) and 3 for the 6th (out of 100)

I found no cases with received date of the 5th. anybody has a received date from this day?

  3. Hi.

There is a way. Please read this link: http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/if-i-live-the-us-illegally-years-can-i-green-card.html

I've known of people who applied and got approved for this. Due to your time in the US (10 years) I think you could be a candidate to apply for this but as it says there, it's not easy and the odds are low.

    Good luck.

  4. Congrats NOA2ers!

I don't know if this is the same as asking how long a piece of string is, but how long do you all reckon until we are with our loved ones? Is October wildly ambitious?

I have my estimated dates on a post it next to my desk to remind myself to be patient.

NOA2 : JUL 5 (98 days - could be up to 5 days sooner from what we've seen recently)

NVC received - AUG 5 (31 days - don't think this will be sooner since this waiting time is been getting a little longer)

    NVC approved - AUG 12 (7 days)

    CONSULATE received - AUG 19 (7 days)

    CONSULATE interview - OCT 30 (72 days)

I took this estimated dates considering:

    1) Not the best/shorter estimated times, but not an RFE or another delay either.

    2) The timeline trends will continue to get longer at the same pace as they have

    3) Considering my country (Mexico) average interview time for last year.

I feel october is unlikely for you, but could be possible if the days for NOA2 start decreasing and you live in a country where consulate times are fast. Good luck!!

  5. I live in Tijuana, Baja California, and my boyfriend lives in San Diego. We were both together after going to a baseball game when the earthquake happened. It was around 1 a.m.

It was the first time I felt an earthquake, it was intense but didn't feel too bad. As far as I know everyone is doing they're life normally since there was no damages.

Everybody is talking about it though.... USCIS YOU BETTER NOT BE PROCRASTINATING AND CHIT CHATTING ON THE HALLWAYS!!! lol

  6. Hi everyone

I was just filling the DS-160 online form for K1 visa when I encountered the next questions:

"Have you been unlawfully present in the US for more tan 180 days and have voluntarily departed the US within the last three years?"

"Have you ever been unlawfully present in the US for more tan one year in the aggregate in any time during the past ten years?"

First of all, this questions come with a set of questions that if you answer YES to any of them basically means you broke the law. So the only correct answer will be NO.

I live in Mexico right next to the border with the US. I've had a visitor visa (always for a period of 10 years), basically since I was born. In the past ten years I've crossed to the US at least 4 times a year (always for a weekend, or on transit to take a flight to europe). But last year in March I met the love of my life, and have been crossing pretty often since then. Last year I would say I crossed one time every two weeks and stayed for the weekend. But this year I got a sentri card which allows a faster crossing, and I usually drive across the border and stay the night with my fiance for around 1 or 2 times a week, and then come back to my place the next day. He crosses to Mexico too once or twice a week.

My concern is now that I read those questions, I might actually complete more than one year IN THE AGGREGATE for the past ten years. And I might as well complete more tan 180 days IN THE AGGREGATE for the last year. Can't really tell accurately, since it has been many times, most of them for the weekend or less tan 24 hours. I have never had trouble driving across with the CBP officers, or obtaining an I-94 permit, never even being to secondary inspection, and like I say they granted me SENTRI pass this December.

However I am now worried that I'll make it to the interview stage at the consulate only to be denied the K1 visa or even worse, removed from my B1 visa and banned from entering the country. I feel there's a small chance of this, and also not really sure if I broke any law, but that situation would be catastrophic for me.

Thank you in advance for all the information you can give me regarding to this! It would be much appreciated, I'm bitting my nails here.

  7. I feel this is a matter of IT DIDN'T WORK OUT more tan a matter of SHE'S A BAD PERSON / SHE USED YOU.

I read both of your posts and being from a latin country I can recognize the difference in customs you experienced.

In general latinas (and latinos) do spend more than american girls and give more importance to brands. Also if I was doing ALL the house work, and also working, paying for food, and being expected to raise a baby AND contribute to the house, simply wouldn't do it because I feel its not fair. If you want to be equal in your monetary contributions to the household, then you should be equally contributing to doing house chores and staying at home for raising children when necessary. You simply can't have it both ways.

You may find a latina with a very progressive sense of equality in monetary contribution for household, but in general I can tell you latinas are usually very traditional and expect the man to pay for everything while they're doing all the domestic chores, so if you're not into this, maybe you should look for a partner from a different cultural background.

I wish you the best of luck!

  8. so within VJ data we had some good movement today. I think Feb #s go under 100 tonight. Usually when a month goes towards 50 or so left its almost done in terms of activity

Date Feb Filers	Feb Delta	March Filers	March Delta	April Filers	April Delta
    5/26/2016	120 0 329 0 260 0
    5/27/2016	119 -1 328 -1 264 4
    5/28/2016	117 -2 325 -3 266 2
    5/31/2016	115 -2 327 2 272 6
    6/1/2016	108 -7 322 -5 279 7

Excellent information! Thanks. I'm hoping for that one day when april starts having negative numbers :)

  9. Only 2 and both were from Haiti (VJ stats only that we know of). They looked like expedite cases however and definitely special exceptions . Right now we are waiting some early March has started processing with the latest NOA2 received by a couple who have a received date of 03/09.

I see one March 11th now :D it's getting closer!!

I read that February and March fillers started getting processed when the month before them was aprox. 50% completed on Igor's list.

Right now march is 10%, and they started processing them aprox. on May 17. That means it took 2 weeks for 10%, but at that time they were still processing February, so from now on it's gonna move faster, let's say twice as fast. So then it will take one week for every other 10%. I'd say we have to wait 4 more weeks until we start seeing april cases processed. Although we need to also consider that there were more March applicants than February, so maybe its gonna take a little longer than that.

  10. Your stats for the week. Last night 5 NOA2s were received ( 1 was from a Nov 2015 member but they didn't have a timeline ).

    Week of 23rd May -> 6 + 6 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 27 at 5.4 cases per day.

There is some disconnect between the "whos left" and "who got a NOA2 last" list. Its not lining up and the lists are live. Change your dates in the timeline and you'll jump between the months in RT.

    Date Feb Filers	March Filers	April Filers5/26/2016	120 329 2605/27/2016	119 328 2645/28/2016	119 325 265

I have an idea of what could be.. Maybe more users signing up daily and creating new timelines. That may be the reason the numbers are not dropping.

  11. Just checked the USCIS Processing Times for CSC, before for i-129f it's showing a date of December 16, 2015, now it's back to 5 months :dancing:

Can't wait for our NOA2. :clock:

I saw that too!! Excelent news!!

VJ Estimate is March 8th again... went up to March 10 and then has been dropping from then. But I guess its a good thing that they're catching up with the REAL processing times.

    Lets hope for the best!!

4 Haiti cases approved recently, 3 from end of april. I'm curious to know why they're expediting these cases. Any ideas? I wish the user from Haiti would share his/her thoughts on this as to why they may be expediting this cases, since he/she already confirmed that they didn't do anything different to expedite it.
