  1. I signed onto VJ and found that the post reading format had changed. I haven't seen anyone else mention it so I'm wondering if it is in my control settings or something. When I used to look at a thread I would see all the posts that had been written in chronological order. now I only see the first post, then an outline of the reply poster and the first line of the post. Then I have to load in each replyto read it ... one by one. I have a real slow dial up, so I'm basically not able to read through the threads anymore without spending hours. Can anyone help me to figure out how to fix this?

I'm still hunting for a solution on my own, but help would be nice at this point.

    Thanks a million!

I actually just noticed this! It was fine till about 5 minutes ago! I thought I was going crazy. I guess this is good, now you can pick and choose what you wanna read :)

  2. hi, first of all thanks for all the info that one can find on this site, is amazing!

    ok..now my question :)

i got married and i will send my AOS (i485/i130/i765) to texas (as it says on i130)

but the other forms say that the forms must be sent for example to chicago.

where do i have to send it? I 130 says

NOTE: If the Form I-130 petition is being filed concurrentlywith Form I-485, Application to Register PermanentResidence or Adjust Status, submit both forms at the localUSCIS office having jurisdiction over the place where theForm I-485 applicant resides.

If I check for my state, it is supposed to be Texas..but...what about the other forms? :) can anyone help me on this?

    thanks!!

You send I-130/I-485/I-765 it to the Chicago Lockbox as instructed by the first bullet on the first page of the I-485. So no, you will not send it to Texas.

    um no...

    Note on Where to File:

For Individuals Living in the Jurisdiction of the:

    Dallas District Office

    El Paso District Office

    Oklahoma City Sub Office

Effective October 23, 2006, if you are residing within the jurisdiction of the Dallas District Office,

and effective November 20, 2006, if you are residing within the jurisdiction of the El Paso District Office or

Oklahoma City Sub-Office, you must follow the special instructions in the Related Links section of his page.

  3. For about 1.5 weeks, it was touched a million and half times, and now it's moving as much as a turtle with no legs

hi all! Otman got a welcoming email on friday, april 6th. our time line is up dated. just keep your fingers crossed!!

however Otman and I are very proud of our AOS packet. we took major pride in putting it together, everything was tabbed so that whatever they were looking for would be at there fingertips. our packet was put together so a 8yr. old could find whatever they wanted. really just think how many packets the uscis handles everyday. and if they could come across a couple a day that they could very well see was put together with lots of pride and seriousness. it makes there job easier and they just may be happy enough not to send you a RFE. I don't know just our thoughts. we r so happy to see that after one whole year since sending the k-1 petition Otman has been approved for permament residence.... best of luck to all of you.

congrats!! This should bring some February CSCs tanferres some type of hope..maybe.
