It's been 16 days and nothing for me yet. I even dreamt last night of seeing the check cashed with a file number on it. Am I going crazy?

I hope it's not required! I know I didn't include any of that because ...well, we haven't planned the wedding at all. How can you plan for something when you have no idea when it will take place? With this new IMBRA law, who knows how long it will take to approve visas. I don't know if I'm the only one who doesn't really have any "real" plans.

I just thought it might be true since it was supposedly created to protect (female) beneficiaries against violence. Who knows. This new law, it's so vague...next thing I know, it'll affect me since I talk to my fiance through MSN

This may sound kind of silly and/or stupid, but doesn't the IMBRA apply to male petitioners only?

phew, just when I was starting to get antsy. I just want my case number so I can obsessivley check my case (I've been obsessively checking my bank account to see if they cashed my check yet) . Me = zero patience

Boy can I relate...and having to spend around $1000 for plane tickets everytime you want to visit doesn't REALLY adds up when you got a million other bills to take care of.
