Thank you.  There were 24 applicants in total at the ceremony. I was unable to talk with any USCIS person , they sat away from us . We were ushered to our individual seats and immediately after the oath, handed our certificates and instructed to leave the chamber immediately. No picture taking was allowed. From the look of things , I will guess it is 1 ceremony per day ?

Finally done .....Thank you . Yes it was pretty fast, I was shocked too . Had my oath today . Arrived 10 mins early . The ceremony was pretty swift , raise our hands to swear the oath and after that the judge gave a speech, upon her leaving the room the officials handed out our certificates and congratulated us once again.

The only hiccup was page 4 of the oath letter is a declaration section, that should be ticked yes or no  .. pretty much all of us there today did not fill that part out 🤦🏽‍♀️. So we had to do that before checking in to the judge’s chamber. Best of luck with the future .

Immediately after my interview, my case tracker updated to show I was in line to be scheduled for oath . Few days after that.  the letter showed up online and the physical letter arrived on Saturday 23rd January .

Hello and thank you 😊. I took with me the last 3 years tax transcripts, daughter’s birth certificate and few other documents showing our current address . Ironically the case officer did not ask for any documents, however when I mentioned the documents I had on me and if it was needed, the case officer opted for our tax transcripts and our daughter’s birth certificate .

Hello .. my interview went well . It was actually yesterday morning. Apologies for the date mix up 🙈
I was scheduled for 8am . Arrived in good time and was in the queue by 7:45am, despite the long line, I was in the building and thru security within 10mins . Made my way to the 3rd floor and checked in with the receptionist. Was seated for 5 mins when my name/ number was called out by the case officer assigned to my case.  Upon entering the room the case officer and I had small talk after which we went over my application and the change of name I requested. Took the civic test, read and write test . Answered the eligibility questions . Signed some forms.  Was approved and given a form to that effect , told I should get my oath notice within 3-4 weeks . The whole process was approximately 15mins from start to finish . Upon checking my case tracker on my way out , it showed I was in line for my oath to be scheduled.

These are the civic questions asked:

    - What did Susana B Anthony do ? fought for Women’s  right
    - When is Independence Day ? 4 July
-US war involved the North and south ? Civil
    war
-Who is the commander in chief of military? The president
    - One war fought by US in 1900s? WW1
    - Name 2 national US holidays? Christmas and new year
All the best with your journey.

I received the biometrics document in the documents tab of my online account. I’m gonna print it and do a walk in today because I simply don’t have any other time, I’m a full time student, mom n I work.

I walked in 3:30 pm to be precise. No wait time was in and out in 10mins. Advisable go after 12noon. Having said that, I was there for my ROC biometric at 2pm and I experienced a long wait. I guess it depends on the work load and staffing🤷🏽‍♀️
