  1. Finally an update today! I have an interview date set up for August 25! 🥳
  2. I was notified that they can't fix the name error on the notice until the interview. Filed on the 1st and still no interview scheduled. Hopefully that name typo doesn't drag the process. Estimated time right now is showing 2 months but highly doubt that's even close.
  3. I finally was able to get through to an agent and fixed the issue.
  4. I need help because I can't figure out how to reach a person to correct my name on the notice. The paper says to call the number to correct any errors. When I call the number the robot won't let me through and refers me to submit a request online. When I tried to submit a Typographical error correction request on the web site this message pops up ( Data entry errors : Do not submit an inquiry if you recently filed an application or received a decision. You should receive a receipt notice within 30 days of filing or the decision being finalized.) I after that tried using the messaging system and it won't let me message anybody either. What should I do now?
  5. I filed on April 1st by mail. Today I got 2 letters from USCIS the receipt and the online account set up. Once I set it up I've seen they have a document coming in about two days for biometrics reuse. Unfortunately, I noticed that my first name was misspelled. I tried to submit a self service Typographical Error online but it wouldn't let me. I plan to call the number tomorrow morning to hopefully sort it out.
  6. It's been only 2 weeks since I filed by mail. Hopefully I get my NOA quickly.
  7. Wow that was incredibly fast! Congratulations and I hope it goes well for her!
  8. I'm still waiting for a letter in the mail as I expected. I applied through mail because of a fee reduction request. Let me know if anyone here did it that way as well. 😊
  9. Good luck with your journey! This one is gonna be hopefully much less complicated! Curious if you got the biometrics reuse right away?
  10. Thanks for sharing! I sure hope they use mine too to save time!
  11. My application was delivered this morning. It may take a while to hear back since they have to mail the letter. I'm guessing they won't reuse my biometrics because they are rather old by now.
  12. Hello!! I'm starting a space for April filers since I didn't spot one yet. I filed on April 1st by mail (entered via fiance visa 2016) and will do my best to update with progress here to help out with info and help us all wait more patiently haha. Good luck everyone 😊
