Got so tired of seeing zero updates on my case other than "case received", I decided to call and do some checking.  I was able to confirm that they do know some cases are not updating online, but have no idea if/when it will be fixed.  I was able to confirm that biometrics show as completed in their system on the date it was completed.  And I was able to determine that my case has not been transferred and I still have no F****ing idea when they will ever get to it.get

This issue is only to Floridians. No updates at all. I called them and asked why I am not getting any updates. She said me not to get worried about not getting updates but I am within the timeline. She said my case is in California that means mine was not transferred to anywhere.

aug 2018. they cashed our check october 2018 and was transferred to texas service center. my src number still says invalid when i try to look up our case on uscis case tracker site. on the dhs site all i get is fingerprint fee received. that was october 2018. no updates since then.

Because we are Floridians! We are special 😉 they love to keep our cases to review again and again, I guess. When I called USCIS yesterday, after 50 mnt waiting time the lady said you are within the timeline so don't get panic Ma'm!😀

Guys, anyone had their biometric appointment but absolutely no update anywhere? Old site, new site, app... nothing. I had my fingerprints done in March. CSC filer.

    Am I the only one?

Hi I am in the same boat. The cases that are not transferred to anywhere seem stuck in CSC without touching. I do not get any updates even after biometrics done in March. Frustrated

    Hi Tommal,

I actually got new sponsor as i wasnt sure about the earlier sponsor.

Also i valued the openion from SusieQQ on the same, so decided to find a new sponsor rather than taking a chance. :)

Thats good. Hope you will come to US soon. All the best brother! Which state your going to stay? Do you have to stay in the same state where your sponsor live? Florida where I am living is good in many ways but pay is not good. Its a kind of poor state😊 with no state income tax which is best, It is a kind of retirement area. Sunny and no 4 season. Wisely decide where to start, am telling if you get a good job in one state your are getting stuck to it. I was thinking to move to Washington State but then I got a City job so I am going to live here until getting retired, lol.

Hi Harsha, Did you give only the same sponsor or did you make joint sponsorship someone else?

Lately, I have been reading a lot about having a parent visit the US. I would like to once again express my gratitude toward VJ community! I have had smooth sails with all procedures related to visas and immigration thanks to this place.

I am a GC holder (became LPR in August 2018). I helped my mother fill out the DS-160 application and she was approved her visa today. She was asked the following questions:

    1) Where are you going?

    2) Who are you visiting?

    3) Have you ever traveled to other countries?

    4) Are you employed?

    5) With who do you live?

    6) Does your son (me) and his wife have a kid?

    7) What is your son's birthday?

8 ) How long has your son been in the US?

    9) Where does your son work?

My mom is a homemaker taking care of her grandchildren while other family members work. She does not work and she has not traveled anywhere in the last 35 years. She answered all the questions honestly and was approved her visa. She does not speak English and had translator during her interview. The officer did not request any of the documents that my mom brought with her. It took a total of 4 minutes and she was out.

By the way, B2 visa denial rate in my country is about 62%.

Hope this will help others as much as other posts have helped me!

Good luck with your own journeys!

This is very kind of you to share your experience.😁 Wish I had my Mom and Dad lived! 😑
