I did! I followed other people's suggestion to use Microsoft Edge instead of other browsers. Some people were having issues with uploading documents so make sure that's the last thing you do (meaning don't upload documents and then save a draft. Apparently documents don't save).
Good luck!
Since my window opens in 10 days, do you know if I can start working on the N400 application today and submit it when the window opens? Thanks!

Why are you so sure about it? Well, I also want to believe in this and hope it won’t happen but don’t know...the whole 2020 shits shows ( Covid lockdowns, violent protests)...no one imagined that it will happen in US...but it is happening and no light for the future as for now...
Thanks for that.
I posted that notification from USCIS not to panic but just so others are prepared for a new "grey area" in our lives as immigrants. For example I refinanced my mortgage now before the extension letter expires. The same with everything that requires proof of legal status.

All though I wish everyone fast processing. I am not sure if applying for n400 is a smart thing to do. All these additional requests will just take you from your queue into another one. Good luck
No,
If anything, it's recommended to apply for N400 as soon as possible

A second Potomac approval Facebook
June 2019 filer. Looking promising...
I wonder why the biometrics were done in January for a June submission. Mine were done in early November

Wow, that's great news. Finally !

Just recevied a response from my Service Request:
"Your application is still pending consideration. We regret that we are not able to give you a time frame for when we will complete the review of your application"At least the agency budget is enough to keep the automatic response servers running

That is exactly what I thought when I saw about the rumors last month. USCIS been diverging funds and manpower to ICE throughout the last 3 years and that is why some left, and the increase in processing time. Anyway, The house will bail them, and the senate more likely to approve funds, not necessary 1.5B, but something to keep them going since can you imagine the backlash senators will get when citizens can't process their spouses visas? Plus, the burden they will put on states on when they force them to pay unemployment for +20K employee?
Agree, the House will probably bail USCIS, but the Senate controlled by Republicans?
And then it would have to be signed by the President. 🤔

Vote for what though...
I think USCIS is supposed to be self-funded by the application fees. It'll either be an increase in fees or a taxpayer bailout.
Until they fix something...
"Vote for what"....
I know the USCIS is self funded, but had surplus until before this administration.
This means it is currently poorly managed.
USCIS also transferred 200 millions to ICE this year. No wonder they are broke.
Guess who ordered to do that transfer?
The agency director is directly appointed by the President, who is chosen by voting.

Whaaat!!!!! Where did you get this info and why are they doing that???
I don't thin't I can send you the link, but this is from the Washington Post:
"The agency is funded almost entirely by user fees, rather than congressional appropriations. But under President Trump’s leadership, it has mismanaged its finances so badly that it has sought an emergency $1.2 billion infusion from taxpayers.
Unless it get a bailout, the agency will furlough three-quarters of its workforce next month, Government Executive reported Thursday"
This is from Foxnews:
USCIS didn't provide the number of employees affected, but Fox News is told that agency leaders informed some staff that the furloughs could impact about 13,000 employees, or more than two-thirds of the workforce

I'm thinking it will go back to "normal" soon. This way they can tell everyone their cases are within normal processing time as they try to clear the backlog from closures. Hopefully as time progresses they can have a real sense? This might just be wishful thinking!
USCIS will be furloughing 75% of their employees. This is only getting worse. And no.... it's not just the coronavirus.
The only way to fix this is to ask our citizen friends to vote in November.

Have any of you submitted service requests? I did, I just got a standard reply (as I expected).
I figured why not. It's frustrating, if they have stopped processing i-751s entirely I feel like they should let us know...
JUst submitted one. I'll probably get one of those automated responses, but I've got nothing to lose at this point

Potomac Service Center here, I'm on the same boat as the previous comments: Stuck on Firgerprints taken.
In case anyone asks, I've used the Letter of Extension 4 times already when coming from overseas, without any problems.
I'm wondering if I'll be able to apply for the citizenship before I get the 10 year green card. This system makes absolutely no sense

I haven’t come across any YSC/Potomac I-751 timelines from previous filers, except for those that got their cases transferred to that place.
Does it mean we are the pioneer initial I-751 YSC filers or what?I highly doubt it. Potomac Service Center current wait time for I-751 is 15-16 months. Woohoo !

I have a question for those who have had their biometrics done - how long afterwards did you see an update in your case status online? Thanks
Just got an update today: As of November 4, 2019, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751.

Hey!

Usually, a new medical is not required for K-1 adjusters if the AOS application was filed with a valid and unexpired medical. If they have not asked for one, then I see no reason to worry about providing one at this time. If they need it, they will request it at that time.
That's is quite a relief to hear. I will go to the interview and pray for the best outcome.
Thank you and Aviinashh M for your help.
I'll keep you updated

Yes I sent that page DS-3025 (at least I believe my doctor included that in the sealed envelope that I'm not supposed to open)
