did interview on November last year. Everything went well. No any respond so far.

The officer told me I can call them if I do not get respond in 2 months and hand me business card. But the phone number on the card is not local field, it is USCIS phone number I can find online too.

I will wait one more month, but online status still "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"... wired

There is still no any reply, it has been 3 months after my interview. Everything went well on interview.

 I was waiting 1 year for new interview on Nov 2018. But now no any reply , I am not sure this is because government shutdown....

Hello everyone

I just did interview last week. Everything is fine during the interview, the io only ask yes/no question from I-485 form and verify document I submit.

Now I check case status everyday but no luck. 

I need to go back home country this weekend with my AP and come back next month. Am I OK  for re-entry with holding AP ?

I did I-693  shot and examination on October 2017 . My interview will be scheduled on November 14 ,2018. Do I need to renew my I -693.Or I only  bring old one ?

I still did not receive any notice of my re-schedual of my interview. I also did not receive my EAD card yet.

You would assume that you would get a new interview shortly after the original date as they obviously already had everything set to interview but it almost sounds like something might've came up in your background checks or so?! What did the IO exactly say when he said that USCIS needs to do a regular check that takes more time? Did you ask what kind of regular check that was? 

 

The email that you received is just a generic one. I wouldn't pay much attention to it. 

 

Other than that there's not much you can do except to wait....

IO just said that USCIS need more time to do background check like others and do not know how long this will take.

Do you think I need to do another infopass ? Or is there any way to ask USCIS what is going on ?

As the title said, Our AOS interview was cancelled on Nov 2017 by no reason. 

Last month I went to local office for infopass and was told USCIS regular check which need more time.

Today I received email from USCIS:

Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.
Address Changes:  If you move, please provide us with an updated address. For more information about address changes, please visit our Web site at www.uscis.gov/ar-11, and click on "Change Your Address Online."

I totally confused and do not know what to do unless forever waiting.

Any advice will be welcomed

No. I did not receive any notice. I went to local office as original schedule and know my interview was cancelled.

I am in NY.It should be free and they did not reject I-131. I sent my document after it expired. 

I am not sure what it is. They said it is normal check like others. 

My EAD has been expired. I tried to renew but was rejected because no submit fee. I do not know why since this renewal should be free. 

And yesterday I sent document again and see what will happen

Same here. My interview was canceled Nov. 2017 and did not receive any notice.  We went to local office for interview and was told they did not have my file yet and have to wait for reschedule.

Today I  went to local office and was told they are doing security check for my case  and have no idea how long it will take.

So sad....

The reason is your payment is incorrect on my receipt. I will re-submit it again today and see if it would be good.

You also renew your EAN ? I just check rejected mail the USCIS sent back and no copy of I-797C, but I remember I sent it and my I-131 is no problem. I guess they took 2 copies of I-797 C for I-131,then the guy for I-765 found no copy of I-797 C.

I did not receive any notice for interview cancellation until I show up in local office. I did e-request and called USCIS and only get code for case and let me wait...

I am in F2A. I remember I sent a copy of I797 but not sure. I will check that out.
