The I-94 will not be available till you enter your POE. Either the Immigration Officer will print off a copy or in a few days after you have arrived in the US, you can use that link and print off a copy as you will need it for certain other steps. More on this topic here http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!i-94/cbm6.
Also, while you are there you can read up on all the next steps once in the US for attaining a drivers license, social security card, banking requirements etc. You'll see the AOS, ROC and Naturalization steps.

Vaccine records should be in the envelope, and all states accept a passport as the sole identification for a marriage license.

Bring your vaccination records also, unless they are in the medical envelope. Also, bring birth certificate, perhaps even a certified translated copy which you will probably need for marriage license.

Hey everyone! i just got from Kiev, so I got it!!!! Passed medical in 22 and interview on 24! Entered the embassy at around 8:15 (it was on 8:30) and went out at 9:30! In three words - fast, easy and positive! Interview went so great! Woman who was talking with me was REALLY cool! It seems to me that she was asking me not like a "she is a serious worker", but like friend! So, questions were the following: 1) when did you meet? 2) how many times he was in Ukraine? how much time did we spend together? 3) what is his job? 4) what is my job? (he is a musician and i'm an artist so she was interested in as she said ARTISTIC couple) 5) why do I know English so good? and the last one 6) retell me your rights from the brochure in Ukrainian : and that's all! She smiled all the time and gave me back my papers and a paper - your visa is approved! Today 25th I got home and the status of my visa is already "issued"! I am so happy! Thank you everybody, who are charing by information here! You've helped me a lot! An amazing web! Good luck everyone who is waiting! It is loooong but it is completely worth it!!!!!

As long as the Tax transcripts show more than the poverty line (approximately 20k per year) then the money in savings is irrelevant.

Once you have your case approved, you can complete the DS-160. You don't have to wait for your case to be ready. Just bring the print out of the confirmation page with the bar code to your interview.

That is just the expiration date for modifications to be made by USCIS employees. Even if a new version of the form is made available, they will still accept the previous versions. So you are safe.

You do not need to wait for a letter from the embassy. As long as your status on the Department of State site says READY, you can schedule the interview. My fiancee received a letter from the embassy a few days after we already had our interview. It is not required at all, nobody asked for it anywhere. To get into the embassy you will need a printout of the scheduled interview confirmation page that you will get after you schedule the interview.

He will need to send you the I-134, and a copy of his Tax Transcripts. That should be all he needs to send you. You can have him provide chat logs and phone records as proof of continued relationship. For more information please refer to this link.

I applied for tourist visa 2 times (year 2011-twice) and I was denied and i tried again year 2013 and I was still denied. And I tried again for the 4th times as I really wanted to see USA and My fourth tourist visa application was GRANTED so I went to the US for 16 days exploring the country. I am pretty sure that IT DOESNT MATTER that because you got denied for tourist visa means there is a possible that you will get deny too for fiance. Both different scenerios. If you can prove to the US CONSUL that your relationship is bona fide and your fiancé/é can support you as written in form I-134 + successful medical examination, means you are a-okey

Being denied for another visa classification does not mean automatic denial of any "new" applications. You are going to be fine.

So good news, called NVC again today and got my case number! I just had a question, does anyone know how long we'll have to wait before the case number works in the CEAC status check? Or should it work immediately once the case number is assigned?

    Congrats!!
Just to update--called NVC today and after a very long wait, I was able to find out the case was received by the NVC but still no case number yet--yay but not so yay! So at least now I can stop worrying that even though someone at the USCIS dropped the ball on updating their systems, they still sent out our approved documentation and it's all there.
