I just checked my bank account online and it's finally showing pending for the check being cashed!
 
Mailed April 6th
CSC received April 9th.
Check cashed May 24th!
 
I'm thinking we will get the NOA on Saturday or early next week. I've never been more happy to see money being taken out of my account.

FINALLY! After almost two months of waiting and calling MoneyGram every day I finally hear: The Money Order has been presented for payment! I am sooo relieved!!  Thanks to everybody sticking with me (us) during those difficult past weeks!

My check was just cashed at the CSC!! 
They received my application on 09 APR and it showed up as cashed today! (45 days after they received the petition).
i hope this helps many of you out there, good luck guys I hope you hear similar news today as well!

The verbiage on the USCIS website is in plural, as it is aimed at all of their applicants. Hence they are referring to 'checks' from their applicants. This answers the question: you do not need, and certainly do not have to send 2 separate checks. I think it does say to send 2 separate ones because I also sent one for the application and one for biometrics.... I'm pretty sure because I read it somewhere on there.

I am sure you are good, as well. When they send a package back they do it super quickly. Most likely someone is in charge of opening all of our packages and looking that everything is in it. Then they give those complete packages to someone else who processes the payment and enter everything in the system, which issues the noa. Most likely it didn't go to that second person in so long (all the time we were waiting) as they have severe backlog.

Recieved at CSC on 4/9. No NOA yet but we haven't had mail delivered yet. Will update as soon as it gets here.

With all this delay and agony, I am still in denial when I read that CSC is back on track. Congrats!

Guys I can't believe we CSC lot are still waiting for our checks to be cashed when they got our packages early April.

I just received this practice alert re: delays in CSC filing from the American Immigration Lawyers Association:
 
As of Monday, May 14, 2018, the CSC has started to key-in I-751 petitions again in first in / first out order, starting with those received in early April. Members should start to see receipt notices for I-751 petitions very soon. The CSC date stamps I-751 petitions with the date they are received by the CSC and this receipt date should be reflected on the receipt notices. The CSC advised that there is no need to file duplicate petitions, as doing so could cause confusion and additional delays. Further updates will be provided as they become available.

Don't do it!!! Like others said, if your first packet was done correct then you're just going to add to the backlog and waste your time and money. the Immigration attorney i spoke with also recommended me not to resend it. Just have to wait for them to acknowledge they received our package with the NOA. they should be starting to process the CSC packets since the H1Bs have been entered into their system....as per their website. your permanent resident status doesn't get revoked because your going through the ROC process. 

The person who had a stamp, only got the stamp because the 2 year green card they got had the wrong date on it.

My 30 days are up but I guess I will just wait 2 more weeks before calling. My GC expires at the end of June so I still have time. 
I really don't want to re-file because I think that might just confuse USCIS... 😉
