Question 38 on the I-134 is a trick question.  It is asking if you intend to make "specific contributions" to the person. Since you are planning to be responsible for the total support of the person and for an indefinite amount of time, mark "No."     

Can you try to expedite it? Waiting 161 days so far, and trying the expedite route even though I don't think it qualifies. 
 
On the expedite I just wanted to write "IT'S BEEN 161 DAYS AND YOU'RE GIVING NOVEMBER FILERS THEIR EAD/APs, YOU DON'T NEED AN EXPEDITE REASON"

Had our interview today, IO was very friendly, just asked how we met, took the required documents, in the end she said there are two alien numbers in my end and she needs to do further research on why it is so and
Gave me a paper which said further review needed

My husband got his EAD card today. He got the notification letter on Saturday. He tried to take the notification letter to SS office today but they denied it. Then when he got home the card was there  . Thank goodness. He’s so excited to finally be able to work and drive. 
 
 

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted on here but I've come back with awesome news. Today, after coming home from work, I came home to a great surprise. My green card had arrived in the mail and our application journey (at least for this one) has reached it's end. Here's our timeline!

We didn't get approved on the spot as we had hoped. We were so nervous the day of our interview that we were both saying the wrong things and our IO barely made any conversation. He barely glanced our album, took some of our photos and sent us on our way. After our interview, we felt dejected and I was in tears. 
 
We were anxious but we remained patient. We tried our best to keep our minds off of it (we avoided talking about it as much as we can). We were prepared for the worst and we waited for another interview appointment letter in the mail. 
 
But here we are! Green card in hand! We couldn't be any happier. There were tears, jokes and more sobs in between the laughter.

This is unbelievable! it saddens me to know that you guys have been waiting for so long and still nothing.  I cant help but wonder what the heck is happening inside there-  I pray and hope that something great will happen for you guys very soon. Keep calling the Teir 2 Officers every 2- 3 days don't ease up on them.

Hi don't get sad I'm on day 151 without combo cards, no interview ready to be scheduled no news or letter since I did biometrics on September 7, nothing not even an online update I spoke to an officer level 2 he just told me that the time period of 90days is approximately, it can take more, I contacted my local congresswoman and I haven't received any news from her either 😕 I was feeling depressed but I guess we just need to wait. May God have mercy on us And help us 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.

The online case still shows received to all those still waiting I strongly urge u to contact your congressman office and don't be shy to let them know any hardships you're facing not being able to work cuz I went in detail and they didn't hesitate to help a week later my case was approved and it was my congressman office that got the update that was how involved they were in my case I'm so thankful. So far I've gone to SSA to get my name changed on my SSN my number still remains the same I'll be doing background checks tomorrow for one of my jobs the other I should be starting next week, wishing everyone that's still waiting the very best of luck you're all in my prayers. Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you guys know that I received my green card today. I am so glad I am done with this process. I hope everyone that has a pending application gets some resolution soon. Thank you everyone for your support and help. Happy holidays everyone.

They also say that it shouldn't take more than 90 days...So keep pushing, this isn't normal and they should hire more people if they are backed to a point they cannot respect their own timeline, especially given that people after August filers have received their stuff. We all know that their online date is pretty much bs.

Really sorry to hear your case is taking so long I'd recommend contacting your congressman's office it helped mine so it's worth a try

Make sure you ask to get a tracking number and talk to tier 2...I got my approval notice yesterday and when I call the recording and first line of people don't see my approval. The lady was telling me to wait 60 days, and if I didn't receive the card within that time to call back, because she couldn't see the card being produced. I reminded her she also couldn't see my approval and I still was approved so I would like to talk to a tier 2 to double check and inquire about a tracking number, she was speechless for a minute and then apologized for not being able to help me and that she was going to transfer me but there was quite a wait...I got a call back within 2h and my tracking number.

My understanding is that each state has your own procedures on how to apply. I did applied in Wisconsin and took my SSN, Proof of residency, Marriage Certificate, Passport and they I was required to do a Written Test that is actually a Computer Based tests (multiple questions). Then after that (passing) you are allowed to apply for a road test which is basically driving through the city, where the instructor asks you to and pay attention to the signs, speed, rules etc.
 
For me that still dont have green card, they required all the documents above, so make sure you have it with you. It is pretty simple.

Hey guys congratulations on all the good news coming in - and for all our other colleagues that are waiting I truly don't know what to say anymore apart from just hang in there and keep the faith.  Something great will eventually happen.
I had a job interview this morning - I was worried abut not having the SSN even though I noticed it was already in the mail (thank God for Informed Delivery).  Anyway I went to SSA Office before my interview I requested that they write down my SSN and give to me being that it's needed at my interview.  The young lady who I dealt with was so nice, she wrote it down on a piece of paper and gave it to me.  They requested it at the interview and also the actual card but I wrote the number on their form and explained and told them card is in the mail and I should receive it today.  I even showed them picture of the mail with my SSN Card on Informed Delivery site LOL. It worked, I was able to do the interview, the drug test, and I am scheduled to do the finger print tomorrow afternoon - but i will have to carry the SSN Card to do the finger print.  As of 3.30pm today my Social Security Card is in my possession.  Best of luck to everybody who is waiting to receive their card.

Hey guys so I contacted my congressman's office last Monday they've been extremely responsive and helpful and today they emailed me and this was what they said:
Ms. Teague,
 
I am pleased to inform you that the Form I-765 application and associated Form I-131 were both approved today, 12/19/2017.  The EAD/Advance Parole combo card has been sent for production.  Once the card has been produced, it will be sent by secure mail to the address of record.  I hope this resolves your inquiry.  Will you please let me know when you receive the card?
 
I am still in disbelief y'all I'm scared to start jumping for joy so I'll call them tomorrow just to see if I can hear this info myself my case online is still showing as received. @Aviinashh I'm in disbelief that they'd give you an RFIE after waiting so many months I've included you and all other August filers still waiting for EAD in my prayers when I can I wish i could address your questions but affidavit of support isn't my strongest point just Google and try to narrow your search or tailor it as much as possible to your situation and hopefully you'll come across results that'll work for you that's what works for me
