  1. Furthermore, there was no hanky-panky during the entirety of this particular process.  On the other hand, wrangling and corralling this feisty Philly   took a little more time than this 'ol urban cowboy expected. I got'er done, though!  I reckon.

So, you got a fiance visa with her. She came here but you decided not to marry? Next, you went there and got married and filed for CR1 then after approval, you decided to divorce, and she never came here. Now you have rekindled your romance and want to bring her here again? I am wondering if there are any more surprises and if a lawyer is the right professional for you to be seeing.

Yes, Ro, thats the whole of it.  And that's the story of love, that's the glory of love. .

  3. yeah;, im waiting Monday to speak with an immigration lawyer. An attorney in Manila told me last August that a tourist or work visa might be an idea since she's also been to the US on a fiance visa (we decided not to marry) but returned, and therefore we have established a tendency to fulfill our legal obligation to follow immigration rules.

  4. Just to be clear, we were married in Philippines, but i filed for divorce nearly a year later. In meantime, i was approved for I-130 petition.  But soon after my divorce was granted i had the petition revoked. Also, i have been to the Philippines over 20 times in the last ten years, and I guess i am misunderstanding this consummation step.

  5. Welcome To Your USCIS Account: On June 3, 2019 We approved your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative.

I received this notice after i had divorced her in USA 2 months prior, and i proceeded to have the visa revoked, and it was. We are back together now. My status is "divorced"; hers is "married".  I talked to USCIS on live chat and the rep wanted to treat this situation as if we were never married giving me both options: I129F or I-130. She didnt answer to the problem of a Filipina remarrying in the Philippines with a "married" status (filipino marriages can only be annulled). Wondering how Texas or Manila will treat a fiancé visa app in this situation. I'm still uneasy on how to proceed with this can of rekindled love. Thanks.

  6. In order to enter the Philippines these days, part of the requirements is to register for this OHP QR code number. Unfortunately, i unwittingly (ill-clicked) and hired a company to process the Bureau of Quarantine form.  Philippines-Health Pass (dot twits) comes up first on the list slyly inserting themselves into the process and collects $65 for their "professional, expert" service.  They don't do diddly but send the form to the Dept of Health/BOQ, which then sends back the Code#, and they send it on to you (pfft!). But the required covid test allows a short 48 hour window to align all the little hoops or you get no boarding pass. Anyway, the jackasses were late emailing me the code number, and i missed my freaking flight. They did refund the $65. i'm at the least still out the covid test and flight rebooking fees, not to mentinon the hours of time prepping for a month vacation. My love for this "advanced", new technical world continues to grow by leaps and bounds.

This is where you go to do it right:

  7. still confused about visa requirement.  Including COVID-19 Information from US Embassy in Philippines website below. The "Travelers for whom visas are not required" statement that starts the second paragraph infers that some travelers ARE required visas.(SIGH!):  So, who the hell are THEY?!

    • Are U.S. citizens permitted to enter?    Yes.

As of February 10, 2022, the Philippines will grant entry to fully vaccinated visitors from countries that are permitted visa-free travel, including the United States.  Fully vaccinated travelers will no longer be subject to facility-based quarantine upon arrival.  Travelers must present proof of vaccination and negative RT-PCR results from a test taken within 48 hours of departure from their country of origin and must self-monitor for symptoms for seven days after arrival, reporting to local government authorities if they begin to exhibit COVID-19 symptoms.  The same requirements apply to fully vaccinated travelers with valid, existing visas.

Travelers for whom visas are not required also must have a valid ticket to depart the Philippines within 30 days of arrival and a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival.  Finally, each traveler must present proof of travel insurance purchased before arrival in the Philippines.  The insurance must cover COVID-19 treatment and have a minimum coverage amount of U.S.$35,000 for the duration of the traveler’s stay in the Philippines.

Each petition stands alone.  They will know about the previous case but you can't get by showing them only part of a divorce decree.  What exactly was requested and with exactly what wording?  Don't give us your interpretation of the wording, or your complaints about it.  They are not helpful.

I got by with the same abbreviated divorce decree with the k-1, so i slammed the same pages through for the 130. My big concern is the financial "bona-fide intent" request. There is no marriage duration requirement before you can apply.  I don't know what they expect for after only 3 months of marriage. I was hoping for quick answers here, before i had to make that long, USCIS stranglehold call again.  Don't you hate that music they play?

What exactly are your circumstances?  She entered on K1, married, and returned to her home country or she entered, returned, and you got married in her home country?

Many of us married overseas and never lived together at all before we filed.  We had days or weeks together in many cases.

As to your Trump question, we originally filed back in 2007.  The list you are referring to predates several presidents.  In our case (lol) I processed once under Bush, once under Obama, and once under Trump.  I print out and staple the same #### every time.

What exactly did you send and what exactly did they ask for?

Was she added to your health insurance?  Beneficiary on your 401k or life insurance?  While here was she added to your lease?  There is a long list of things that demonstrate “co-mingling” of your lives and assets together.  Gather what you have and send it in.

She was here 18 months ago on K-1, but we did not marry. She returned to Ph. I married here last march in Ph.  The first thing immigration asks for is my entire divorce decree (i only sent the front and back portions). Can't see their concern over my divorce again, since they already approved new wife for K-1 (duh-huhuh!). The other evidence requirement they listed is this "Intent to Marry was Bona-fide". I have not added her to any documents. There just hasn't been any time or necessity. thank you

  10. What could be expected from a newly married couple who part to live in different hemispheres? We were married last March, I departed in April, and I filed this case in May. So what could possibly be "established" in a 2 month period to prove intent of marriage was "to establish a life together"? They are asking for all this frickin' financial info: life insurance naming her as beneficiary, joint property leases, registrations, mortgages (yeah, i bought a house in the interim of the expenses of entire overseas wedding) , joint income tax filings, bank and credit card accounts. Ok, i'll put a credit card in her name.  So, what else? We've already submitted all the wedding photos and relative letters of courtship testimony, etc., when I filed the I-130. Why are they asking for THAT again? She's already BEEN here on K-1. We didn't marry and she returned pursuant to the visa. So, what is this? Have i stepped into Donald Drumpft territory? thank you

  11. I-130, Petition for Alien Relative

    Part 4. Beneficiary Entry info:

She's been here before on fiance visa (we didn't marry).  I entered her passport number (line 47). So, what is the Travel Document Number (line 48)?

Is in that long number at the bottom of her fiance visa? Is it the number in red at lower right of the visa? is it the control number at upper right?

I've search results that say that the travel doc number is the same as the passport number which doesnt  make sense... why would there be two

separate boxes for a  passport number  AND a travel doc number?  Number, numbers, numbers! isn't this frickin' FUN?

  12. You better read and Understand what I said, this "persons entering illegally" was not a quote nor a suggetion from Hillary. This is something I said...so read before you start shooting your mouth off!

Just for your information from this 4th grader, I happen to like Hillary and I am Dem indeed. Just because I like her other policies does not mean I have to agree with everything else she says...

I know they were YOUR words, and not hers, hence the quotation marks. I don't shoot, i create lucid ideas with precise language. You flop about like a beached catfish. 0-:

  13. Hillary did not promise Amnesty, but she said "Its inhumane to send the million of illegals aliens back home" and, "Lets open the boarders for people looking for decent living and work"

So, next time there is a person entering illegally to the states, she is suggesting it would be"inhumane" to send them back if they get caught ...Oh heck, lets just open the boarders, abolish immigration laws and let everyone in...

I know this is off topic but wanted to respond...

No, thats NOT what she said. She didn't suggest opening the borders to "persons entering illegally".

Typical Trump tactic here is to mesh quotes with his twisted thought pattern to come up with an "idea"

that has the logical weight of 4th grade banter.
