We did the form in July and after 10 months in AP we were issued today. So hang in there I of all people know how hard this is

I wanted to share with you guys my fiancé was denied the K1 nov 2015 we reapplied and after 10 months in Ap today we are issued. Good luck everyone true love can conquer everything

I heard on the news today it wont effect visas unless its shut down for a while

Me and my fiance go to Dubai all the time and we stay together Dubai is very modern. The hotels are reasonable if u stay in Sharjah you can inbox me for help if you need it. I dont where you live but i take a direct flight its 16 hours from Lax. As an american you can also rent a car from enterprise there

WE ALSO GOT AN EMAIL FOR A NEW MEDICAL AND I SENT AN INQUIRY AND THEY AGAIN SAID WE NEEDED A MEDICAL WHICH WE SENT IN ON THE 4TH. OUR CASE HASNT BEEN UPDATED EITHER.

Dec 6th but I think because the Senator contacted them I emailed verifying they received his medical no date change no reply.

Just date change on Tuesday nothing yet, now when I go on travel docs its shows the embassy has our passport which before I was unable to track it. They kept it at his interview but it never showed up until now. So I am feeling positive that its almost over

They sent my fiancé and email for the medical.

Medical is only good for 6 months then you have to redo it. Honestly our file was touched a lot maybe like 25 times remember this was our second K1 so I am sure we got checked several times. They will receive our medical tomorrow all let you guys know

So I want to share with you guys last year we were denied the k1 for bonefide we reapplied and and March my fiancé had his interview. In July we received the DS-5535 form. Now after 8 months in AP they asked for his medical last week. I pray this journey is over and this helps anyone else who is waiting.

This happen to us last year 8 months in Ap and denial. You cant fight a K1 its expired all you can do is start over, our status was the same ready to refused. We had only one trip at the time and I have learned a lot more, Pakistan is hard on K1. It hurts I know especially after 6 months of the unknown get your passport and see your fiancé and move foreword trust me its the best thing to do. In the end you will be together if its what you truly want.. I am so sorry

One of those updates was probably for the Congress mans email ours usually only takes a day or two. Reach out to the congressman and ask them to check

The embassy automatically extends until they reach a decision in your case
