    You should include the A number or the name of the petitioner on the Check. Include the I-751 Fee and Biometric Fee on the Check.

    i included my wife’s number and her name with middle initial.

    i believe the USCIS has a site about paying fees and it says some of this.

    I just reviewed mine & it looks like I did not write anything on the memo. Do you think, will I be in trouble? I havent received my Noa nor check encash yet! Also the check is dated on 17th August. I think Im in trouble.. so my cover letter is dated- 8/18/2018 and the signed I751 form date was 8/16/2018 but I checked the 90 day calculator for filing and the earliest date I should file is on 19th August 2018. Anyone of you did the same?!! But my packet arrived in CS in August 20, 2018. Any comments on this?

  2. What day most of you guys had a change of your i485 status? Mine hasn't changed for 100 days now. Last notification was first fingerprinting fee received on July 22nd. My field office is Pittsburgh, PA but for biometrics etc I only have to show up in Charleston, WV

    we are in the same I485 timeline. The last status of mine was July 22, 2016 and what I have noticed, all JULY 22 on the case app aren't moving until now. Please update me once your status change.

  3. I'm in Arizona and already had a UK driver's license. I was able to just go in for the written and practical test and got my license without the need for a learner's permit, it's probably the same in other states.

    Yay!! Thanks! So means I wouldnt need a learners permit because I have international drivers license :) I need to study now so i can just go there and ask for exams.

  4. Not trying to discourage you, you're absolutely correct most people in the timelines have been getting their cards in 7-10 days. Same can be said about approvals between 75-85 days. Unfortunately that isn't everyone. EAD/AP should be a rubber stamp process for those K1 AOS'ers like ourselves because a) we are already here and b) we're attempting to be legal taxpaying workers, no downside for the USA. They had a chance to reject your K1 application, your K1 interview, your arrival screening and will again if you come back on parole. There are people receiving AOS approval prior to EAD/AP - how is that even possible given the amount of information required with an AOS and supporting evidence vs the simple AP/EAD forms? Meanwhile they are approving citizenship applications for people that were supposed to be deported, good job USCIS.

    There seems to be an issue for people with approval / production dates the last two weeks, not a lot of receptions. Call USCIS and they'll stick to the 30 day language and that you have to wait. My concern would be if the IO didn't press the production button, and I would call a Tier2 IO to verify that your card production status (has been requested for production / has been produced) if you haven't seen it already. This should all be automated but when you look at the results, that is not the case and there are is no recourse besides your state representatives and Ombudsman, which can be limited and slow.

    If the DMV can print me a drivers liscense in 10 minutes, so should the USCIS be able to. Or at least there should be an option to have it done at the local office with an infopass appointment (similar to the i551 stamp for approved GC).

    Yah you're right! But we have no choice but to wait ? i hope the ROC is easier and faster than our AOS ? My AOS status is still RECEIVED and others are already approved and interview is scheduled.. gozh! I am still patiently waiting.. i hope my job interview in Monday will be positive

  5. USCIS: Approved/Ordered for Production -> Approved/Ordered for Production -> Produced / Mailed -> Received

    Hopefully you went from Ordered for Production -> Approved such that you know it was ordered right away. Otherwise, like my case, they waited a week after approval to order it for production. That was 10 days ago, 17 days since approval. Its a mess. I'd sign up for USPS so at least you know when its coming independent of USCIS. And from what has been seen, "Mailed" from USCIS doesn't necessarily mean in the mail. Welcome to the USCIS post-approval circus.

    Wow!!! I did'nt know that it will be longer than I expected. Some people got their combo cards after a week of approval ? Can't wait to have mine too so i can apply my drivers license here. I thought I have to call Uscis since its been 11 days approved and my case is not changing the status. Well... i need to buy PATIENCE ?

    Thanks anyways!
