I wanted to thank everyone who helped us through our journey which we could have not done without the help on Visajourney. We finally received an update on our case and this is what it stated:

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On November 24, 2006, we mailed you a notice that we had registered

this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any

instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed

within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT

processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If

you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also

receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow

the link below to register.

I also had my interview in Seattle on July 19. I have not received any information on my case and it has not been updated since May 31 online. Wish me luck

Most of AOS cases that have been transferred to CSC have been automatically approved without interviews.

It usually takes two weeks to receive the Greencard once it is ordered. Good Luck

You will need to file for I-130, G-325a, I-864, I-485, and I-693 (medical exam). I-765 is needed if you intend to work in the states. The I-131 is needed if you intend to leave the country but in your situation it is better that you stay in the country until the case is processed. In addition, all the forms listed above can be filed together and sent to the Chicago Lock box, which is provided on the I-485. Hope this helps and Good Luck on your new journey
