  1. I just checked the status online today and it seems we are approved. I haven't received the approval letter yet but I just saw the case status on the USCIS tracking site.

"On February 29, 2016, we approved your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number LIN1591476489. We will mail your approval notice. "

You maybe don´t want you number out in the open.

    Just for the next time.

  2. I'm not sure if I'm on the right thread. My husband is going through the consulate processing in Ankara, Turkey. I noticed that almost all countries are pretty expedient except Turkey, which is averaging around 90-100 days from CC to interview date. Right now we are waiting for our interview date, our CC was Jan. 21. At this point I have lost so much hope about getting a timely interview. My husband's new job in New York is asking us every week what the status is and we have to keep holding them off. Is there anything we can do at this point? Get a lawyer, change our application to an adjustment of status or go through a different consulate? We were told that option 1 delays the process, option 2 isn't a real option bc we have to start again and option 3 is impossible bc my husband is Turkish.

Things take the time it does.

When you have a CC, then it´s up to the Embassy to give out date.

In that space of time, there is nothing to do.

NVC can´t expedite and Embassy don´t know about you yet.

It´s cool that he got a job, but alone on the premise in don´t think they can or will expedite you.

To get a lawyer now, what will that do ? Other then lose money..

  3. We have a co sponsor that is a friend of my husband but he is an actor and travels a lot and currently is on a play tour for 6 months.

Now do you think the London embassy will want 2015 taxes even though our case was completed last week without them?

You don´t even have a interview date yet.

So i will do the 2015 and have it with you, just to be safe.

If the interviews is soon like in next weeks, then you don´t.

  4. Status on CEAC just changed to ISSUED!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!! I've only checked it like 30 times today. lol

Underneath issue it does say essentially I'm in AP.

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

It will say that, now they put the visa in passport and either you pick it up or they mail it.

That's weird for it to say that for Issued. But ya'll have your Visa's delivered through Loomis right or whoever.

    Either way congratulations.

    Not weird, it´s normal.

Here they mail it to the embassy.

  6. FYI

    Status can be:

At NVC - NVC has your case and its not done or waiting to the shipped to a Embassy

In Transit - The case is now on it´s way to the Embassy

Ready - The case is at the Embassy and when ever they look at it, the date til change.

Administrative Processing - We all will have to go to AP, this is either be curse the need more from you, but also it will be AP when they make the Visa.

Returned to NVC - I have seen this sometimes and why they would return it to NVC i don´t know.

  7. THIS IS HOW MY LAST LETTER FROM THEM LOOKS LIKE:

    Dear Sir,

You are welcome. Due to the earlier appointment date, we have not had time to send the appointment notice after reviewing your documents. We will require an updated Affidavit of Support I-864 from your petitioner, where she enters her intended U.S. address, as well as submits a letter as to why she did not file taxes in the U.S. (or submits her tax return for the most recent taxable year). Note that the current income in Part 6 must be only U.S. income.

Unfortunately, we will also require an updated I-864 from the joint sponsor (where he selects “I am the only joint sponsor”). As we require the original form with the handwritten signature by the sponsor, the whole form needs to be refilled and sent to us (or forwarded from you).

Petitioner (My wife) has fedex me her new i-864 and we have papers from IRS saying "she is a non-filler"

I also talked to NVC and was told that my Joint sponsor papers was fine.

But i had my sponsor sent a new one also.

All the rest of the papers i have right here.

    Do i miss something ?

  9. Yes, I realize that need to view the spreadsheet...but since I can't recall my password when my battery dies on my phone I would like to switch to my laptop with having to log in as a guest and for that I need my password to my account. I've requested to reset it but I never seem to get the email for resetting (not even in spam).

You can view forum with out login.

So and you can just email your self the link to google doc before phone dies.

  10. They get the petitioner passport. We also had a joint sponsor and household member. They didn't have passports, so as a part of the NVC process, we had to send in the copy of their birth certificate.

We never sent in Our Joint sponsors birth certificate.

We did give them a copy of his passport.

Well after talking to NVC some days ago, we will not change or add more to the papers after there advice.

And that's even with my wife living at the sponsors house now, because he is not supporting her and my kids.

Pls. let it be Tuesday soon so i can be on my way to Stockholm and get this done :)

  11. So it set, i will be going by Train on Tuesday takes about 6 hour up and 5 hours home.

And i will be staying at the Crystal Plaza Hotel and that is about 15 min (1,3 km) walk from Stockholm's Central station
