  1. Hi guys- with the interview only a month away I'm beginning to overthink everything I'll need. Quick question about the military record. The checklist states "A certified copy of any military record is required, either stating that the military service has been completed, or that the applicant is exempt from serving". Does this mean the beneficiary has to submit a military record even if he/she never served or never intended to? and where would I apply for one?

    Thanks!!

Didn't you guys send in the military record. ?

Why are you bringing them again, it´s not on my list and was approved all the to the interview.

So what´s the point about it ?

    EDIT:

Where did other Danish Boys get there papers ? I only have the one i got Org. ad the time.

  2. CC feb 9 here. WHen I check this website https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

    It says "At NVC"

Is that where you are checking?

Is it actually helpful to track the DHL file being sent? If so, can someone let me know how you are doing that? Thank you.

No that will stay the same until the case is at the Embassy. (Well almost, will also say In Transit.)

If you want to know if you have a interview date, either call NVC or wait for Email.

And no the DHL is to random, to use.

  3. Now i'm confused but yes i'm married.

    The normaly you will go:

    I-130 for the CR1/IR1 http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

You can do a I-127F for the K3, but they are almost never given out, so people go for I-130.

I tried to do K3, but it was approved long after my I-130, so it will be stopped by NVC.

Just ask if you need more information and look at the Guides and Wiki also.

  4. My cc was 11 jan and still no interview. Scheduling is based on the embassy work load. I suggest you look at the spreadsheet, download it and sort it for Pakistan, you'll see the most recent waits.

Still on the same topic, if it's been longer than 30 days since CC in an embassy which doesn't seem to get behind on scheduling, would contacting a governor or congressman achieve anything? The local congressman's office was able to help me out when my file was at USCIS, and it wasn't being processed in a timely manner.

    No need to download it:
