Hi guys- with the interview only a month away I'm beginning to overthink everything I'll need. Quick question about the military record. The checklist states "A certified copy of any military record is required, either stating that the military service has been completed, or that the applicant is exempt from serving". Does this mean the beneficiary has to submit a military record even if he/she never served or never intended to? and where would I apply for one?
Thanks!!
Didn't you guys send in the military record. ?
Why are you bringing them again, it´s not on my list and was approved all the to the interview.
So what´s the point about it ?
EDIT:
Where did other Danish Boys get there papers ? I only have the one i got Org. ad the time.

CC feb 9 here. WHen I check this website https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==
It says "At NVC"
Is that where you are checking?
Is it actually helpful to track the DHL file being sent? If so, can someone let me know how you are doing that? Thank you.
No that will stay the same until the case is at the Embassy. (Well almost, will also say In Transit.)
If you want to know if you have a interview date, either call NVC or wait for Email.
And no the DHL is to random, to use.

I just checked mine and it shows updated Feb-22 as well. Is that because I called yesterday?. Hope we hear some good news soon!
Well can be, but there is not really a way to know.
It just show that the case was handle some way that day.

Now i'm confused but yes i'm married.
The normaly you will go:
I-130 for the CR1/IR1 http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1
You can do a I-127F for the K3, but they are almost never given out, so people go for I-130.
I tried to do K3, but it was approved long after my I-130, so it will be stopped by NVC.
Just ask if you need more information and look at the Guides and Wiki also.

This was until yesterday and past my first mail to STK:
This was after Yesterday and after my 2nd mail.
So they didn't even look at my case with the first mail, but after the 2nd they did.
Maybe i can have some luck when i write them again Friday so they have the mail Monday
-
Yes its for k1 but i meant yes as in for both applications.
K1 is for people wanted to married in the US, not people that is married.
And the K3 is almost never used, I-130 is faster for IR1/CR1.
So i read i right, you are married ?
-
Yes.
Why is it a K1 in your profile then ?
Please people get the information right, so we can help better.
It all start with you and the information you give
-
First Email i wrote to STK, they never went in to look at my case.
But the 2nd i wrote and the replied me, they have been in and look at my case, so maybe there is hope for new date

My cc was 11 jan and still no interview. Scheduling is based on the embassy work load. I suggest you look at the spreadsheet, download it and sort it for Pakistan, you'll see the most recent waits.
Still on the same topic, if it's been longer than 30 days since CC in an embassy which doesn't seem to get behind on scheduling, would contacting a governor or congressman achieve anything? The local congressman's office was able to help me out when my file was at USCIS, and it wasn't being processed in a timely manner.
No need to download it:

Lets say all go as it supposed to go (And it will).
How fast is the Embassy to sent out the Passport for me in Denmark. 3-5 days or faster/slower ?
-
There must be other rules in Norway and Sweden, then in Denmark.
I never had to give them my Case number, only needed my passport scanned.
Maybe they match my case with that information, I even tried to give them the number at my appointment

Quick question:
Is there any difference when it comes to interview scheduling process between IR/CR visas and K visas ?
I've just seen someone (on a FB group) got an interview scheduled for April but they're applying for a K visa.
k-visa is book em your self.
CR1/IR1 is booked by NVC, if they are not expedited.
-
My priority date is April 7 2014. What does that mean?
Nothing when doing Cr1/Ir1.
-
Wow, still?!?! I guess they are busy due to this new law about the VWP. So I guess you'll call them on Friday and hopefully get some good news.
What law ? And does it have to do with ir1/cr1 ?
Well we can´t call them, but the last day of the month is next Monday.
So will write them so they have it there.

Which one did it say in the letter that we danish should use
No idea.
I get it from my Church if it birth cert. And from City hall if it´s Married Cert.
They all do a Danish/English version.
-
Glad you found it but to answer your question anyway: all documents not in English needs to be translated by Kammarkollegiet.
Well i can´t use that.
I´m Danish
-
Do the married certificate need to be in English for you to have it at the interview ?
Never mind i found a English one i had

All of our pictures are also digital. I made a PowerPoint presentation with a bunch of our digital pics and printed it out.
I'll let you know after our interview on Tuesday how it worked out.
Thanks.

So just an update on my case. I just checked the ceac webpage, nd it says your case is in transit to the consular section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. Pls, what does this mean?
That you have a interview date and the papers is on there way to the Embassy.
