  1. awww!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I'm So happy everything was good and they worked fast!!!!!!! :dancing::goofy::dancing::goofy::dancing::goofy: I sent them another email yesterday and got same reply, I Hope they'll answer "something" someday soon!! hehe!! (I'm so tired of the same :P )

    Big Hug!!!!! (L):)(L):)(L)

Thanks Idy....you were a big part of may sanity for the past few weeks, along with the Magic Eight ball of course....now, I have to get a tenant out of my basement, put my house up for sale, cross my fingers and figure out when I quit my job. They have been very good to me, but I want to be with my family in KY....its time to come home as they always tell me... <3 <3 <3

  2. OK Time to Vent.....

After waiting exactly 1 month (Jan 26 to Feb 26) since Montreal received the documents they said we needed at the interview (I-864 instead of I-864A) we received an email yesterday that we need a "new" joint sponsor. At the interview, the guy looked at our sponsors income & assets and said he could make it work we just need to send in the correct form.

We have requested my husband's passport back thru the public inquiry form since we have a trip planned in 2 weeks to the US.

Does anyone know how long it will take for them to get the Passport in the mail and how long we can expect for delivery. We fly out on March 12th.

We have contacted a relative who will be our "new" joint sponsor. She will mail the documents directly from the US in the next few weeks. Do we need to send husband's passport back about the same time or when the Administrative Processing is complete in Montreal will they advise that we need to send at that time?

Thanks for listening and making any suggestions. This can be very stressful especially when you think all is good and they just need a form.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.
  3. Hiiii!!!!!!

Your words makes me so happy!!! Thank you so much for that beautiful invitation!!! I will love being with you on such special day! (L)(L)(L) I just hope and pray my hubby gets here before summer. :P
keep me posted on your status, maybe you'll get a surprise this afternoon.... :goofy::dancing:

Well now it has to be approved because this my only wedding wish....still on ready but that's ok....I don't dread Monday or this weekend right now.

  4. Yeeiiiiii!!!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing: That"s an awesome news!! You are almost done with this!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:I'm really happy things are going good and fast! (L):)

You are AWESOME!! And your turn is next...thank you so much...you will have to come to my wedding in Kentucky this summer...WITH your husband!!!!

  5. Mine is close to that...I guess the only tell you as much as they can and they are incredibly polite which is nice since its so stressful. Mine said:

    Good afternoon,

    Thank you for your email!

Kindly note your I-134 was received on February 9th, 2016 and it has been forwarded for review. We ask that applicants allow for 8 weeks of processing time from the day we receive the documents at post.

    Best regards,

So week 2 of 8 down...I as always hope for good news in the morning and hope it doesn't take 8 weeks...all those months of preparing and not having that because we believed that it was in the original packet sent (as advised by my immigration consultant so I didn't have a signed original at the interview). Wish I found VJ sooner.

Praying for you Princess and Idy.....it will be over soon. It WILL be all worth it.

    Hugs.

  6. I've got my passport and booked my ticket. I will be with my husband next Thursday.

I am rooting for you, idy fdez! Hopefully good news soon.

Good for you PryiaB.....I'm still waiting and from the looks of things, the waiting has just begun for me.....weekends are the worst since there will be no updates :'(

  7. Hi chrisete!!

I'm just try to help a little... I will not resolve the situation but giving hope and writing here makes me feel good... and is cheaper than a therapy with a psychologist!!:rofl:

By the way, about your case, if the only thing needed is an original doc, they will have until 60 days to answer once they received it, that will put you in spring season and maybe this will help the Market so you will sell your house faster. About quitting your job.... I think that will be the easiest part and maybe a very satisfying moment in the process. lol!!

Oh! and I'm definitely looking for that Magic Eight Ball!! at this point I need every possible support!! LOL!!!! (L)(L)

  8. Hi Jasbir:

Don't feel bad. it's obvious they have been working on your file. I know every day waiting looks like an eternity but hopefully they will answer you really soon!! :)

    Hi Idy,

You are so gracious and supportive....so glad to have you here but hope you are also the first off...fingers crossed. I have taken to asking the Magic Eight Ball online to get a better picture of when something will happen  Its the best I've got right now...and my dogs of course who already know I'm a bit crazy....

  9. Oh no....I am starting to worry...I had my medical on December 9th to get it out the way, Interview on January 27th but now in AP as the I134 was missing although I know we sent it in with the original package and I didn't have an original signed one at my interview.

I have a house to sell, moving to arrange, a job to quit....etc. etc. how do I get an extension if I need it as June the 9th is not looking reasonable at this moment....

    Good grief...

  10. Finally!! Yay!

Try selling your house two weeks before your interview, closing on it while you're in AP, buying a new house in the US while you're in AP, and then having movers come and pack all your stuff the day your status goes to READY....having to leave the house when it hits ISSUED but it doesn't actually hit Canada Post for three more days because of the weekend...living at friends' with your cat while waiting for the damn thing to come back!

(Of course they say to not do any of those things until you have your visa in hand, but who wants to try to sell their house in like January or February?! even in Vancouver, that's hard.)

    Anyway, you will be fine!

Thanks Alien! I have been holding off on putting my house up for sale until I get it as 'issued', but think I should start soon...even here in Toronto where houses sell fast but I am just soooo ready to be with my love in the USA. I think I'll do some more tossing out and packing today :)

  11. Wow....I'm new to this thread and you all deserve patient prizes. I had my interview on January 27th and was missing an original signed I 134 so I am in AP. He told me I was approved but to get that document in as soon as possible. It arrived on Feb. 2nd but they did not receive it from D'Youville street until the 9th. My status was updated on the 9th and the 11th. He kept my passport. I've read that's a good sign.

I hope this is good news and they are working on it. I have a house to sell, a job to quit, and a home to move, dogs to vaccinate, car to get certified from the dealer....so hard as my medical was on December 9th so I only have till June 9th to get over...getting very, very nervous as the timeline is closing in.

How do you all stay calm....I know I've only been in AP for a week, (or since they received the document) but really, its unnerving reading everything else...

    So grateful to you all

  12. Congratulations on all new approvals! Those, who still waiting - don't stress too much, everything will be okey very soon!

I am flying tomorrow! Excited and worried at the same time! See you guys in AoS stage!

    xxx

    Hey Maryna,

Awesome news...travel safe. I am still in AP and hope to be out shortly since it was updated again yesterday. Be well and we will catch up soon.

Many blessings and a safe flight!!

  13. CEAC tracker updated....I so hope to be out of Administrative Processing shortly. Fingers crossed and feeling very hopeful. God bless all of you and safe travels as you start making your way to the US!

Hi congratulations to all approvals and I have been waiting for the embassy in Ghana to contact us since December 1 till date we didn't hear from them and we can't schedule appointment here so we are still waiting please help us in prayers

Praying for you and lifting you up from Canada. Hang in there....

  14. Congrats to all the new visa approvals and issuances. Sadly, we are STILL waiting for the Embassy to get the medical paperwork and process ours to an approved state...ugh, I feel so defeated with this process right now and it feels like it's not going to happen. Just worried.

Hang in there....it will all be OK....I'm waiting too to be issued after not having an original signed 134....it will all be fine...remember to breathe!

  15. Visa in hand! POE is in 12 days! Ahh!!!

Congratulations...I have a bit of time left here in the Great White North....had to send an orignail signed 134 to Montreal today so they will get it tomorrow and the wait begins again. But, I have a house to sell and job to resign, dogs to get vaccinated, a house to pack so all in God's good timing and grace I will get to my love....you be careful travelling...OK!
