i called and checked nvc received the documents on april 20 2016 so thats my scan date now the wait to hear from them :-).. praying there is no check list

i need to add didnt receive any email or letter from them . found the scan date by calling nvc

Your scan date is the day nvc receive your doc. You can call nvc and ask for a scan date, that's how I got mine.

Around 3-5 days after the NVC receives your AOS and IV packages, they will send you an email with an attachment on it, in the first sentence of the attachment it will say:

"The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on DDMMMYY..."

That is your official scan date.

HALLELUJAH!!! 42 days and 3 checklists after when I should've gotten a case complete, I FINALLY HAVE CASE COMPLETE!!!!

The date on the stamping on my passport is different from the one in 1 -94 which determines the duration of stay on tourist visa .

Which date should be considered as the date till which one can stay legally in the US .

No I am sorry, your wife would need to send you the w7 and notarized passport that has been notarized by an authorized agent-which is typically the US embassy although you should check the IRS website to verify. It is probably easier in your case to file MFS and enter her SSN as NRA

I get the approved notice February 13th then February 25th I get NVC Welcome Letter (PAOSF) With 3 more pages. One of those pages was the affidavit of support fee invoice. Which included. case number, Amount Due: $120.00 and invoice I.D. Number to make the payment. Yes I already paid the $120.00 I will call today. To NVC I have so many questions.

I get a welcome letters from NVC after two weeks. They received the I-130 for my mother. With the case number and a bill from 120 dollars for AOS.

did you call them to get the case number or you knew about it only after you received the letter . Have you already paid the fees ???

yeah ... not sure how this will expedite your case ... there are lot of families where the USC is the only working person and spouse living abroad is not working or studying and is financially supported by the USC. Of course every couple who is separated goes through lot of emotional stress due to separation and not being able to live with each other. If this was a reason for expedite then most of the couples would be opting for this route. There are couples who have not seen each other for more than a year.

You can try but not sure if this could be a reason for expedite..
