I'm waiting for my husband to call me to tell me how it went at the interview. Last I heard from him was an hour an a half ago. In Juarez it takes maximum 2 hours and a half from entering to exiting the consulate.
I'm so I nervous drinking my coffee staring at my work computer... I haven't even done anything

Yess!!!! We made it.
Just got off the phone after 30mins wait..... We got Interview scheduled 4th May. 1:30pm
So excited!!!!
Meanwhile we I completed my Medicals already last week 22nd March.

Even though our case was marked as complete, I just received a checklist from NVC. Luckily, they've just asked to bring the documents to the interview so it works out.
I knew this could trigger a checklist, but I still decided to listen to my lawyer. He had asked me to attach my 2015 W2, when I hadn't even filed my taxes. I told him, it would trigger a checklist, and he said, no he does it all the time. Anyways, I still attached all the transcripts from 2014, 2013 and 2012.

Same here. I came across this website by chance. I was doing research through Google and followed a link to here and found it to be the most informative and friendly site and I am glad I found it. I viewed the site as a guest for awhile and then I saw the love and support everyone showed each other and needed to be a part of it. Too many people on here to thank and I wouldn't know where to begin. I can't say thank you enough to you as well as others on here. You guys are absolutely amazing. Lol. I'm starting to sound like a broken record with all the thank yous but it just emphasizes how grateful and appreciative I truly am. Hugs to you and everyone else showing love and support.

Update: Went in for the second interview and took my oath and fingerprints and was given a receipt to pick up the passports (visas) on Thursday at 3pm!! woohoo!

Thank you. I am hoping for a CC this week as they received our NADRA on the 21st and it is still being reviewed by the supervisor. That's the only thing they claim was missing. I know better. We shall see. Praying daily.

03-16-2016 Emailed Checklist (dated 06 July 2015---prior to filing USCIS Petition—False Checklist in my opinion) for Birth Certified (was included with papers submitted 02/13/2016) Escalated to Supervisor because it was included in the IV paperwork (two separate folders for Petitioner & Beneficiary (Everything tabbed (Red for petitioner and Blue for Beneficiary), coversheet explaining everything in each folder) Called about the Checklist date which is prior to petition filed. Representative at NVC couldn’t explain.
03-17-2016 Returned email back to ASKNVC regarding the date of 06July2015 checklist date
03-17-2016 Mailed NADRA again (1st Class, Certified Return/Receipt)
03-21-2016 NADRA received and still being reviewed by a supervisor in the Review Dept.
03-22-2016 Received ASKNVC email to request on 03-17-2016 stating they are still waiting on civil documents (no specific mention of the Birth Certified like previously requested on 03-16-2016)
STAGE 3: Embassy/Consulate

IF IF!! it goes smoothly. No No NO. This is a blessed thread and everyone here is blessed. I have yet to have a denial on this thread Not happening. Just pan on hunny coming home.

Hi,
Just to clarify (from what others have posted) there are 2 packets i.e. a brown sealed envelope inside an almost transparent one. The transparent one holds the passport and any other docs that the embassy may need to return to you. The sealed brown envelope must not be opened by you but by the officer at your POE (point of entry) and there is a sticker on the brown one that says DO NOT OPEN.
So, no need to be confused...but I get why you would be.

P.S. my thoughts are with the victoms and their family's of this horrible terrorist attacks in brussels today!

Tomorrow (21st) is our first wedding anniversary and we are apart. I don't even have words for how much my heart hurts right now. Wish we didn't have to be apart right now. Sorry guys, just venting. I know all of you will understand how I'm feeling right now.
I pray I don't lose my mind between now and 27th April. This interview can't come fast enough. I'm sick and tired of watching special days go by and I'm away from my husband.
