  1. Wife had her interview this morning at sometime after 930. She had to wait a little, was finished by 10. Had her ceremony at 1015. Ceremony was done in hallway with 1 other person.
Had To read "Who elects the Congress?" and write: "The people elect Congress"
    Her questions were:

    1. What does the Constitution do?
    2. What is the highest court in the United States?
    3. Who is in charge of the executive branch?
    4. What stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful?
    5. Who is the Governor of your state now?
    Forgot last one.

Interviewer was very nice. Pleasant experience. About 1 hour spent on whole process, including arriving 15 min early.

  3. Hey guys,

I'm wondering if someone got same status change as I did today. My package was received on Aug 25th and I already got my combo card in beginning of november, and finally today I found an update for my i-1485 case. So I looked for it on google real fast and it looks like I may receive my greencard without interview, not sure if it will really happen, but, my question is: anyone on same situation as I am?

My wifes application was received on August 24. She didn't need an interview. Green card was approved 4 days after getting combo card in the mail.

    Congrats on your approval.

  4. Yay! My employment and travel authorizations just changed to approved!!!

Do you think that I could have the advance parole IN HAND in a month so I can go home for xmas??!?

Congrats to everyone, looks like we all are getting good news today! Almost there!

    Congratulations on your approval.

After its approved, new card is produced withing 2 weeks.

    Delivery is usually 2-3 days.

My wife's was approved on the 4th, she received it on the 18th.

You should have it withing a month.

  5. Hey guys:

The interview is coming up in Kiev, and I only have 6 photos I want to share, because the others didn't come out so good. What's your opinion? I keep hearing 10-20, but I only have 6 of us together.

    Thanks,

    Chris

We had 10, 5 of them were from same day. I think 6 should be enough. Do you have any photos with you two and her family or friends?

During the interview the agent speaking to her didn't look at any additional evidence.

  6. Hi everyone.

I have a K1 visa but they waived the part of the vaccines on the medical examination, so now I have to get them here in the US to cover AOS requirements.

I was wondering what's the cheapest way to do it. I already had one in Mexico, and I'm thinking about getting the other ones through my insurance with Kaiser permanente, and then getting the certification from a civil surgeon. Is this accepted or the vaccines NEED to be administered by the civil surgeon directly?

How much do civil surgeons usually charge for certifying this portion of the I-693 only, and how much do they regularly charge for the whole immunization package?

Thank you in advance for your help.

My wife needed one shot that was missing from her chart. We were able to receive it at a county health center. It was ~30$ cheaper than getting it at a doctors office. They also gave us a piece of paper with their information, which shoved the vaccine she received, date for the shot. After that we took this and her incomplete ds-3025 to a CS who filled out her I-693 without any problems.

Check the local county health services if they do vaccinations, it will be cheaper.
