  1. Sadly I lost mine 2 weeks before I got my interview letter and I was advd to still go to interview and bring a police report with you to show u filed that it is missing and have pictures of ur green card front and back of it with u when u go.
  2. That is awesome! Congrats on finishing your journey ❤️ can I ask was their anything that needed to be brought that was not in the letter like more evidence or anything ?
  3. I felt the same when I did the I-751 , I think they just go by what’s put in front of them and I think the only reason they got mine after so long is cause I went to get a stamp to go see my family since the I-751 is taking to long .
  4. I found out on July 29th online on the app and than I got the Mail on August 5 (literally a week later) . hopefully u get urs soon and more than likely it will be sometime in September as I never heard of anyone waiting over 2 months after receiving the letter. imo, I would postpone the vacation since this is something worth doing asap, but if can’t make sure u call them to reschedule but that is also risky. but I wish u nothing but the best on ur journey ❤️
  5. While getting things ready for interview I am curious if the Dallas office does oath ceremonies on same day of interviews if approved? mainly wondering cause it’s hard to take time off work from my job and trying to prepare.
  6. I am sorry to hear you are still waiting for yours, hopefully you hear something soon ❤️
  7. Congrats! how did the interview go before ur oath ceremony ? Anything new that we should know for us to prepare?
  8. I wish u luck on ur journey and more than likely u will get that I-751 interview soon. Mine took a very long time as well (2018- till end of 2020).
  9. I hope this is is correct, I believe I found the 100 questions that would be on the test for people to study https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/questions-and-answers/100q.pdf
  10. The letter doesn’t say ur spouse has to be there which I hope not cause my husband is helping his brother move that day and has to work n can’t take the day off .
  11. How did it go? And which questions they ask?
  12. Congrats! Can I ask how u know it’s gonna be 2020? I see the note they are gonna give me but I am confused which one I would be doing.
  13. Finally got my interview (September 2nd) I hope I am prepared for this lol
  14. I am having mine in September 2nd and from I was told is this is the one were u do ur civics test so make sure she is prepared for it.
  15. HEY EVERYONE!!! I am happy to say I finally got an interview and it’s set for September 2nd 💕. time to study for that civics test . only bad thing I lost my green card on my travel and I was told if I bring in a police report that I will be ok. anyone else have this issue or anyone that did?
  16. Congrats, I wish I knew why mine is taking so long and I filed in December
  17. i am sorry if i sound dumb never did this before, if i have to do a police report in toronto but now in the states do you know how u would do a police report for toronto for example?
  18. that is good news, i guess i just have to file that police report, i did msg the person to see if it can be any police station or if it has to be a specific one cuz i am unsure if i lost it in toronto canada or in dallas tx
  19. question, i sadly lot my green card at the airport but i dont remember if it was in the toronto airport or dallas airport , am i able to go to any police office and fill out the form or does it have to be in a certain police office?
  20. Wish I had the money to do it at the moment but I do agree it’s best to be safe than sorry, I might end up calling USCIS tomorrow to see what I can do to avoid the fee since also I feel the time I get it I will have my citizenship before then.
