my husband has been trying to call the lawyer since 10am, but they busy. but, will ask. 

When does U.S. Consulate in Juarez MX schedule appointments?

Oh, and I'm a U.S. citizen and my husband is a Mexican Citizen. 

Plus, how did the lawyers associate receive this follow-up letter in the first place, If NVC claims that we haven't even began the 6 Steps????

well, first, there's no choice for F2A. So, I just put IR. Whoops. 

Second, I gave every single fee to our lawyers associate. Third, I told the lady associate that NVC states that no progress has been made to our case. Forth, the lawyers office replied that everything is paid for, and the NVC just has our completed I130. That our case has moved forward to somewhere else.... 

Fifth, can you guys give me some tips on what type of questions I need to ask our lawyers associate??

I've called before a couple of times, and the same reply "you have nuot completed the six steps", "your case has been inactive for a year", you still haven't paid any fees", and I reply them that my lawyers took care of everything. 

How did my lawyers associate retrieve this NVC letter??

My lawyers associate stated that our case is no longer at NVC. That our case is only due for a Interview. So, I have no idea who are the ones that will notify her of an open Interview slot, maybe the consulate. 

She is handling everything. I just call to make sure that she keeps calling. Whomever she calls....

Why is difficult to get an appointment at the US Consulate in Juarez??

This taking forever.

We've been waiting since 2014. 

Is it scheduled randomly??

I cant get through to a person at the consulate....

Tired of waiting, but of course going to keep waiting....

FYI- yes, I made a wrong move by hiring a  lawyer. She says she'll be calling everyday for them to give her a visa interview. 

What number does she call??because the one I got from VisaJourney isnt working

Its the lawyers helper or "associate" is what their probably called. 

First, all was paid in cash to the associate. The lawyers fees, i130, IV or VI, affidavit, and medical exam fee for Juarez....

Yet, the NVC has none of the above. 

I called a director at NVC but they transferred me to the public line.

The screen reads "At NVC", and to follow the "6 steps".

But, over the phone at NVC they tell me none of the fees are paid and no documents have been turned in.

Our Case Status has always been "At NVC" since I dint know how long ago.

This is the 2nd letter that our case worker sent us. 

The 1st letter had the Priority Date Sept 2014

the nvc states that no movement had been made to our case since June 2014, no fees paid, no docs turned in, and none of the 6 Steps has been completed. 

So, we've been waiting "in queue" four an appointment since Sept 2016; how much longer is the wait? 

Lawyer is taking too long....

NVC says different from what my caseworker says. 

Do lawyers work directly with the consulate? 

Can people do that? Just a thought. 

Please help.

I did not make enough for 2015 taxes. So, my friend is volunteering to cosponsor. She is going to submit her info to our lawyer this week.

Our lawyer says that once my friend turns in the info and the NVC received the info that they will schedule an interview.

We started the first i130 app in June 2013. We paid everything in time and were just tired of waiting.

Yes, the lawyer takes forever. But, Yeah.

Yes, we have an immigration lawyer.

So, now, we are told that I did not make $20,000 or more for 2015 taxes; and I need to find a co-Sponsor.

Besides trying to look for a co-sponsor; does this mean that my husband will finally get an interview date after we have a co-sponsor?
