We are still waiting, but I don't have hopes that the letter will make it all the way to Zambia.  It took 3 months for us to get our NOA1 (and that was miraculous.  We just got a letter in the mail from the US that was post-dated from September 2015.  Hah, yes you read that right, 2015!)

Our notice (on the USCIS website) said after March 11, if we haven't received our letter, we can request a copy from them.  Not sure if anyone else got that information as well?

    wow that is too long

  2. You are not the only one, I am waiting for my letter too. I will tell my husband call them to find out where my case get transferred.

I think everyone will get transferred to Texas service center, I am not sure but I think so.

I wonder if that because some people did 2 and 3 days shipping cause them to get their letter shipped 2-3 days. Maybe am wrong.

I pray it don’t be long before we get approved.

Right before my case was transferred I dream my case got approve February 19, 2017.

for those of you who get the letter what did it say? I believe it only mention it was transferred to Texas service center.

  3. Hi nyokie!

What kind of paperwork did your lawyer file on November 21? Did you get a RFE?

You won't be getting a case number unless the USCIS sends your case to the NVC, and USCIS won't send your case to NVC unless they approve your case and issue a NOA2 for you.

No I didn't get REF. They file the I-485 and other forms, what happened was that they only filed the I-130 July. They should have file everything one time.

  4. I was hoping to see progress in your forum as I am a August filer ..... I am guessing you will get passed in Jan and I will be Feb or Mar if lucky as an IR-1 ....could it be any slower?

I say Jan as I expect the USCIS staff have their office, department, center location, State admin and National Christmas parties to attend so little time to work on more than 3 cases with all that "departmental" commitment to be fulfilled before the Holidays ....

I agree now that if they don’t delay. I am September filer.....yes I know I have long long long wait.

    NOW IF NO DELAY

JULY FILERS will start getting approve in January

Then AUGUST FILERS will get approve in February

Then SEPTEMBER FILERS will get approve March

    .

    NOW IF THEY DELAY

JULY FILERS will start getting approve in January to February.

Then AUGUST FILERS will get approve in March and April

Then SEPTEMBER FILERS will get approve May and June.
