Oath Details;
We were called from the waiting area a few minutes after the scheduled appointment at 11:50 and lead to the area for the Oath Ceremony, where we were spaced out. There were 5 of us and 1 interpreter for one of the oath takers.
They review your form, ask you to review the certificate, take your green card and tell you where to sit. There's a screen between you and the oath officer.The chairs are spaced out.
Once everyone was seated they started off with a speech, then everyone stands with their right hand raised and says the oath. Then he explained what was in the envelope he gave us: passport and voter registration directions. He advised that there was another ceremony at 1, so not enough time for pictures and showed us how to exit.
It was over by 12:05. The multi year journey is over.
Note: there were a few people called when I was in the waiting room that didn't show up.

So what can I say... became a US citizen today! The process is very streamlined- you are guided, in line always 6 feet apart, a few people in the building and I did not see many interviews or other appointments happening. However, it seems like they are doing interviews in the main lobby as I’ve see Ipads installed in the main lobby next to the windows. Also, there were about 25 people naturalizing today in one room and my time - not a lot. What’s interesting is many of these people had interviews in February and March as I overheard, which suggest a long wait for those not scheduled at the same day after interview.

I received my oath letter today and my ceremony is THIS THURSDAY, JULY 9th. That was quick 😄. Already scheduled my passport appointment the very next day at my local USPS.
Good luck everyone!

Congratulations! if possible, try to gather as much information as possible. Especially, the number of N-400 interview applicants, taking the oath? Are interviews being conducted in private setting? anyway, anything you can share would be appreciated

Yes, I was interviewed in Feb, they said they could not make a decision at the time. Received a notice on April 23rd saying naturalization had been approved.

I logged in today and boy was I surprised, I checked my case status and it hasn't changed from my initial interview was scheduled, my case history still had my initial interview was scheduled notification, then I checked my documents folder and bam: "Interview Scheduled Sent on June 30, 2020." My interview has been rescheduled . It's set for 7/17/20. I can't wait.

Pupa have you heard anything about your oath!?

Their system is total rubbish, after approval and oath date/paper in hand. Completion date changed from May 2020 to September 2020. I’m April filler but did finger print in May

They told us same Thing after waiting 2 hours after my interview to get oath. Then they asked us to go home, I started yelling really bad on all of them for over 10mins. The office they interviewed me said he never saw on my file that any file was missing in the first place for them to cancel my December interview. They don’t just want to do job ontime. After I yelled at them they asked us all to come back in and sit down then they gave us the date. So if I didn’t do that we would all still be waiting for their rubbish. When I checked my uscis.gov account it says approved and date will be sent but says also completion date is now September from May that is was before. I don’t really care though, I have the date and time and all letters required for oath.

Hi LAstategal,
I haven't received news yet. My account online still shows August 2020 as the completion date. Do you have any updates yet?
Congratulations Pupa! We are all happy for you!

Hello everyone, I'm happy to report that my wife's interview was successfully completed yesterday! She said her interviewer as "absolutely lovely" and the whole thing took about 30 minutes, but only because his computer kept freezing with each input. She believes it was probably closer to 25 minutes actual interview time. He did her civics test first thing, as he knew that people stressed about it enough to not be able to focus on the application questions; so, he preferred to offer the relief of getting that over with as soon as possible. She received a letter indicating the recommendation of Approval and they sent her out to wait for scheduling her Oath Ceremony. We were incredibly fortunate to get an appointment for tomorrow morning! ::knock wood:: We're just one step away from concluding this process. The staff at the Baltimore Field Office were great and we told them so.
