  1. Actually, I did...and that deity never fought back....in fact, I never heard from said deity...no phone calls, no emails, nothing....and no mystical force ever moved my hand from the 'deny' button to the 'approve' button over the span of more than 20-some odd years, which just reinforces my own belief....COs .... and only COs can make visa decisions, no one else, not even some ethereal deity.

I advise you to wait... we are all waiting to hear from uscis over a year now yet we are still waiting... when you rush into filling you wont know what contributed to your denial... So tell her to wait....

  2. No reason was given to my husband .he. was told it would be returned for revocation. But embassy email to me said outdated AOS. By the questions asked at interview,i am thinking non bonafied marriage. Age difference was one. But god willing its reviewed and sent back to embassy. And ill be there for next interview, and our local uscis office said when a case is returned we are not a priority like we were in the start and uscis is backlogged

Did you mean your case was reviewed and sent back to embassy? when was the interview and how long did your case stayed at uscis? We have waited more than a year since our case was sent back to uscis and we are still waiting so sad. kindly help me with an update on when your interview was conducted, how long it took uscis to receive your case from embassy and how long did uscis used to review your case. Thank you as am waiting to hear from you soon....

  4. Also waiting for interview date in Ghana..mine was reaffirmed case and sent back to the Embassy on December 16.

Issah kindly update me how long your case been sitting at uscis before they reaffirmed your case? Our case has been sitting at uscis for more than a year now? What was the reason why they sent your case back? Me and my wife has a child but the consular says our marriage is a sham.... Kindly update me as am waiting to hear from you soon.

    Best Regards

  5. I hope you receive some help to get a 2nd interview, she should plan on being there when & if that

    happens.

Talking to neighbors with your pics is worst than a STOKES because you have ppl who don't want

to mess up any chances in the future for them If they suspect they were from immigration, there's

those who will tell if they see you say hello to a female, there's the jealous ones, & some may think

    its terrorism investigation.

Be sure that you both can put up the funds for plane fare if you have to re-interview, they set the

dates usually a short time period...be prepared...when they have field investigations then involve the

fraud dept...sorry its not gonna be easy

Our case was sent back 12/24/2014 from the same embassy saying its a sham. After my interview i was given some options known as additional document , in the middle of gathering the document the embassy called me to tell me they are sending the case back. Its over a year since our case was sent back and we are still waiting. Ghanaian are treated like slaves at that US embassy in Ghana. My wife visited me only once but stayed with me for good 46 days and luckily she went back being pregnant, our son will be 2 years next month. I went to that embassy with our sons pics, birth certificate and many more evidence. After all this evidences the CO still find something saying my wife divorce papers is the reason why they are sending our case back. Divorce papers that went through USCIS and NVC successfully but the Consular alone find something wrong with it saying they consider my wife to be married to two. Because the Mexican government does not recognize her divorce papers. So my wife has to divorce her ex-husband and re-marry me again. God is not asleep and i know he is fighting for us, surely we gonna go through soon. Wishing everyone the best of luck in the 2016............

  6. He was given instructions but never was tested ? Why, did he not follow the instructions ? Sorry but your comments are confusing.

If he shows up at the place for specimen collection did the lab tech refuse to take his specimen or has it been collected and been returned

by the lab to the USA for analysis like they are supposed to and the result is now sitting in review ?

The lab must send the specimen to the US for testing as you call it, not the embassy. The analyzing lab here then sends the lab report to the embassy

    where it should be now.

Ebunoluwa happy Xmas to you and your entire family, you have been so active on this platform helping many of us to understand certain issues. Anyway to answer questions regard the DNA test at the US embassy in Ghana they gave me a paper ticked three boxes 1( Co-sponsor) 2(DNA test) 3(Administrative Processing) on top of the paper they used a pen a wrote ( WE WILL CALL YOU ).Immediately my wife went with our son to the authorized hospital and arranged for the DNA, they took their saliva and sent the file to the US Embassy in Ghana. I can confirm that i called the hospital and they confirmed to me that the DNA file was delivered to the US embassy in Ghana safely by FEDEX courier service. The embassy never called me to come over for my sample to be taking, In November 2014 the embassy called me and i was given the 221g letter saying they are sending the case back to USCIS for review and a possible revoke. But the CO told me they consider my wife to be married to two people because Mexico do not allow such divorce papers. So in my case they consider my wife to be married to two people and she has to divorce her Ex-husband and Re-marry me. When the senator contacted the embassy they said our marriage is a SHAM marriage entered for immigration benefit. Maybe the embassy didn't tell me the main issue concerning our case because i head they be telling people different things and be covering the main issue they found.

  7. This is 100% the reason for your denial. There is something you're not being told if the decree was issued in Mexico but both have never been there. You have to file for divorce in either the place one or the other resides, or the place the marriage occurred. If she filed in Mexico legitimately, you can be sure that she has been there. That is why the CO kept questioning you about if she or her ex has been there, they know the answer already. The problem is, that you didn't know the answer. Someone is withholding details to you is what I am suggesting. You cannot just randomly choose a country to file divorce in.

Thanks for taking your time to read our story, honestly we are in darkness now because since Febraury 2015 uscis received our case back from the embassy we havent heard from them. We were told it takes 6 months for them to reafirm the case or give us Notice Of Intent to Revoke. Its over 10 months now we havent heard nothing from them..... So that is our update and i pray all this end soon.....

  8. Amazing stories one seems to disbelieve what is really going on in this embassy? Its not their fault but Ghanaian fault, because you will see a long queue at the embassy everyday seeking to travel to America.

Why this long queue? Most get denied yet they will go back with fake document again and still get denied. I can tell that America embassy in Ghana make a lot of money from these poor people out of visa denials.

The visa fees are not refundable, so i call onto my fellow Ghanaian brothers and sisters to work hard and make our nation a better place to live.

Am married to am American citizen with a 20 month old son yet the embassy believe our marriage is a sham. Most Ghanaian applying for US visa has never cross Ghana borders, I can boost of getting the opportunity on traveling to many countries. Egypt, Russia, Czech Republic, Norway, Sweden, Finland, not adding the African countries.

Am not starving in Ghana or seeking to become an American citizen but God does things and when he speaks no one can challenge his words. I felt deeply insulted by the embassy, am not special than anybody going through these mess but just injecting my opinion.

Yes there are issues in Ghana but we don't have gun shot everyday. so lets cherish the peaceful land God gave to us and build it to perfection, again i love Ghana and will always do.

Me and my wife set up a company which is fully involve into soccer player recruitment, contract negotiations and many more. Fellow friends you can start something which will worth something bigger in the future don't wait for USCIS.

The heart of a lion cant be played with without a good meat....The embassy is like a lion chasing you away.....

  9. Ebunoluwa,

my wife has never travel to Mexico which i know for sure she has never traveled there neither has her Ex husband too. So i know they never travel there. She filed for her divorce decree through an Attorney they have an office in the US.

The divorce decree was issued by the Mexican Judiciary. My wife has been living separately from her Ex-husband for good 11 years before we met. I met my wife in January 2013 and she filed for her divorce decree in March 2013 and got the whole paper work in April 2014.

She came to visit me in Ghana May 2013 and we got married in June 2013. One will say we did everything fast fast but we were so connected and never thought there will be questions like why we got married so fast.

But before she filed for I-130 she wrote a letter telling USCIS when we met and how she enjoyed living with me in Ghana. So all her story about her Ex husband in the letter she wrote and included in the petition she submitted.

  10. Hello Brothers and Sisters,

Before USCIS intend to send our case back they told me that, they consider my wife to be married to two people, that is me and her ex husband.

The consular made it clear to me that they consider my wife to be married to two people. Meanwhile my wife obtain her divorce decree from the country (Mexico) and submitted to USCIS and they approved our case.

But my wife still defends that by saying that sometimes the embassy don't tell the applicant the truth.

Can someone clarify this for us to understand.

Is anybody here once told the reason why your case is being sent back to USCIS and later turns to be a different issue?

Because i was told by the CO that they consider my wife to be married to two people and my wife has to divorce her ex-husband and remarry me again. But when we involve the Senator the embassy told the Senator our marriage is a Sham marriage.

Does this relate to the divorce papers my wife submitted to USCIS? My wife filed for her divorce papers in the country Mexico. Please help friends on visa journey....

  11. That CO think all Ghanaian are struggling to get to America... Why would you judge people without any proof? You can easily see from her face she is not a happy type and wished everybody will be in her shoes....... I can decide to marry who ever i want to be with even if we met only one day... She is living in spiritual land and behaves like all is well. I petty her soul because when Ghanaian get tired all rivers and gods will be called to jump on her...

  12. Ebunoluwa My wife filed for her divorce decree in the country Mexico. She obtained her legal divorce decree from the Mexican court in March 2013. And she visited me in May 2013 and we got married in June 2013. She lived with me in Ghana for 46 days. The divorce decree was submitted to USCIS they approved our case. The CO made it clear to me that my wife has to divorce her ex husband and remarry me. Because they the embassy are considering her to be married to two people now. That the Mexican laws do not allow such divorce decree. My wife quickly contacted the attorney who handled her case and they provided her a document signed by the Mexican Judiciary saying her divorce is legal and can be used in any country.

  13. Fellow brothers and sisters past and new on visa journey from Ghana who undergone the AP process from the past or currently going through.

Those who undergone the process can you share with us the time limit? I know most of us here has different issues which the consular might have recommended to USCIS to review.

10th August will be 6 months our case got stuck in AP, am kind of nervous that we wont get any response before then... How long was your case been in AP till you were given the NOIR or NOID or RETURNED TO EMBASSY ?

    Please brothers and sisters comment....

  14. Mr. James you are right about those two ladies at that particular embassy. I hope something can be done about it? Is very bad behavior from them because everybody is talking about them. I know more than 6 people who are not on this platform saying KM is very rude.

Lets join hands and smoke them out from that embassy...

  15. I met my wife on a social media in February 2013 and she was able to visit me in Ghana in May 2013 that was her first visit. Before her arrival we have already arrange for our tradition marriage. Because we love each other and there is no need for us to be waiting instead of we becoming husband and wife. My wife touched down on the 27th May 2013 and our marriage took place on the 1st June 2013 that was so fast, but we love each other so likewise to be together as married couples than to be dating. Both of us like the idea before the marriage date was fixed. We really had a very good marriage event together with families and friends. She lived with me in Ghana for good 46 days before going back to the US. Before she depart we all suspected that she was pregnant and yes she was pregnant because as soon as she arrives in the US she went to see the doctor and that was confirmed to her, that was a good news for all of us. There my wife thought of filing for me to join her in the US. So our petition went to USCIS in September 2013 and was approved in April 2014. The drama begun as we all know how it feels when you are in this immigration thing. Interview schedule on the 7th October 2014 the CO by tittle KM gave me 221(g) after interview. Asking us to submit Co-sponsor, DNA test for our 17 month old son and put on Administrative Processing. After asking us to submit such document they also wrote on the paper given to me (we will call you) The DNA sample was arranged and paid for by my wife in one of the recommended hospitals in the USA by the US embassy in Ghana. A month later after my interview the embassy called me to come over and i was told they are sending our case back to USCIS for revoke.Reasons given by KM was, because my wife has never been to Mexico and her ex husband too has never been to Mexico, means my wife has no right to file for her divorce decree in Mexico. The consular told me my wife has to divorce her ex husband and re-marry me again. USCIS got the case on the 10th February 2015 and ever since the case has been updated twice, we involve the senator of Maryland which she intervene and the embassy told the senator that our marriage was a (SHAM) marriage. My wife has contacted the attorney who helped her with the divorce papers and they got her a document from the Mexican judiciary declaring her divorce as legal in Mexico. This document has been sent to the senator, embassy and USCIS. Our AP is heading to 6th month now yet nothing has been served to us. I know there are many Ghanaian going through similar issues as we are going through now. This lady at the embassy with the title KM KM she is so rude to almost everybody who passes through her. My advice is that the petitioners should teams up file a joint complaint to the authorities who can look into the matter seriously. I guess KM she is not a happy type wish everybody should be like her for keeping us away from our love ones but God the almighty has a reason for every situation my sisters and brothers keep calm the good news is coming soon. Big amen to that..... But once again the United State Citizens who are in this process must file a joint complain together to the authorities in charge..........

  16. Am a Ghanaian the beneficiary attended my interview on the 7th October 2014. I was asked to come with two additional document. Co-sponsor , DNA test for our 16 months old son, and Says Administrative Processing. We were able to arranged for the DNA test which is currently stuck at the embassy, whiles preparing the Co-sponsor paper work. A month later after my interview the embassy called me to tell me that they are sending our case back to USCIS for revoke. Reasons given was that my wife has to right to obtain her divorce papers in the country Mexico. Our case is still sitting at USCIS for review. Actually my wife has provided a credible document from the Mexican Judiciary saying her divorce was legal done in Mexico and the divorce papers can be tender in any country. We dont know how long this is going to hold our lives, my son is heading to two years now all i do is see him on videos and pics. So painful but hoping all shall come to pass. Is there any Ghanaian and other Nationalities having similar issues like ours?
