I just got done with my Oath Ceremony today. It seems like they schedule about 40 people each time.  My Oath Ceremony is about 2 weeks after my interview. It took 20 minutes total, no friends and family were allowed.

They can randomly ask the meaning of questions in N-400. My friend was asked about the Communist party.

I passed my citizenship interview today. My schedule was at 1.30PM. I arrived at 1.15PM, the line has already around the corner. They were both people who came for the oath ceremony and the interview. I was let into the building, passed the security check and finally get to sit in the waiting area at 1.26PM.  The officer called my number exactly at 1.30PM

He didn't even waste time to do a little talk to make me feel comfortable, but started the photo and fingerprint right away. 

He then went through the civic questions. Here were my questions ( I didn't remember the last question)

- Who was the first president?

- What did Emancipation Proclamation do?

- What is the capital of the United States?

- What did Martin Luther King Jr. do?

- What did Susan B Anthony do?

My reading was "What do you have to pay to the government" and my writing was "We have to pay taxes" 

Then he went through my N-400 application. He literally asked me all of the yes/no questions even ones that were not applicable to me. He asked about the meaning of Genocide. The whole yes/no thing was extremely quick(He spoke very fast). He asked for the most current year copy of tax transcript

The whole process took 30 minutes. The officer said that I passed and He said the oath ceremony could take about a month after this. I hope you guys have a movement of your process soon! 

I just got a new interview date. Notice date was on 9/16/2020. No email notification which is unusual, luckily I randomly check the website. 

The interview will be the last week of October.  I applied early December 2019 and the interview was supposed to be late March, but got canceled. 

I filed mine early Dec 2019. Interview was cancelled in March. I have heard nothing since then. 

Estimated case completion time is September 2020. I hope to get this done by the end of the year.

I sent all those basic things. Except kid's documents as we don't have kids. I don't know what else I could submit 😥

I pretty much sent everything I sent for ROC, and then added a bunch of extra from the last year in between filing for ROC and the N-400.

 

Car insurance

Health insurance

Two joint credit cards

Joing checking account statements (every 3rd or 4th from the first few years, and then every single statements from the last year)

Rental agreements

Costco memberships 

Library memberships (we use these for work, believe it or not)

401k beneficiaries 

Tax transcripts for 2016, 2017 and 2018 where we filed jointly (haven't filed 2019 yet so I uploaded an explanation) 

 

and others I have forgotten about now..

 

I sent Health insurance from his company that I joint 

A joint credit card( barely use because my another give a greater benefit)

Rental agreement 

Tax transcript 

A bunch of our vacation pictures and hotel receipt, airline receipt.

I got this letter today. It seemed like I didn't submit enough evidence. Could anyone please share what evidence you guys submitted?

I got my fingerprint done on 2019-12-23

My case(Chicago,IL) status changed to interview was scheduled today.
 

The main USCIS official app still show no update. However, the different app shows that an interview was scheduled. I checked from USCIS online website the status changed as well. I guess the app is slightly behind.

Filed online12/1. just got Biometric schedule on 12/23 

Estimate time is Oct 2020, Chicago, IL 😂

Finally Received 10 years GC in mail!!

Case approved 8/6

Card was mail to me 8/7

Received GC 8/9

Mine was approved as well from Nebraska center. I checked with 2 different apps on the phone. One still have no update since biometric. Another one say new card is being produced.

I just hit my 2 years and 9 months today. I'm thinking about filing N-400 this week. Any pros can cons to file the form while pending on 10 years green card? Thanks!!

I walked to do biometric early this morning, cause I'll be on vacation on the day of appointment. The whole thing took 15 minutes. I was lucky enough that they let me do it. The staffs at my local USCIS were super nice and friendly. 

Just got my biometric appointment from LIN center. Unfortunately, they pick the only date of a year that I'm not available. Got to reschedule.... adding more time again 😂

This one https://www.nycvisa-translation.com/contacts.html has a service branch in Phitsanulok. However, I believe you can use one that you like from anywhere as all you have to do is sending your documents via mail. Then the translation company should send back all papers to you when they're done. 

My case number didn't work still. No biometric letter here. However, I got an email from USCIS a couple days ago saying " We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on November 1, 2018 "

but then HR have  the most stupid people. 

The manager look at it and said she have never seen it before. She then scanned my paper and sent it to HR at the head office. They said they don't accept this document and ask me to bring in state ID instead huh...

Has anybody use a receipt [extension letter] to show employer that you're eligible to work? 
I went to fill out orientation paper work today but I got rejected. 
The HR said they did not accept expired green card and and the extension letter.

I finally got my NOA this morning. I gave USCIS a call a couple days ago and they sent out my NOA on October 22. Here's my timeline so far.
20 Sep 2018 : Sent package to USCIS in Arizona
22 Sep 2018 : Package arrived at the destination
25 Sep 2018 : Credit card was charged
27 Sep 2018 : Got text notification. Case number LINxxxxxxxx
22 Oct 2018 : USCIS sent out the receipt
26 Oct : 2018 : Got the receipt
