just call the doctor's office and ask the secretary! for my medical they asked me to bring 7 photos i think. normal size, they didn't say anything about the background but mine was white

In Morocco, for the medical, are there specifications for the photographs that must be taken to the exam? I tried to find the information on the embassy webpage but did not see anything specific pertaining to the background color required.

I am very sorry for your situation and the pain it is causing you. It's very easy to be on the outside looking at your situation and wonder why you would stay. Ultimately though, it has to be your decision, as it is your life. The only thing I will offer, is advice that someone once told me; that simply is, when someone tells you something, listen to it. The fact he stated "I don't care enough to do so" and made a statement regarding that the K1 process has made him stop loving you, should tell you everything you need to know. I wish you the best with the rest of your journey and it's amazing to see the support that everyone here on VJ is able to offer.

I did several originals and translated copies/ helps to have them when visa is granted / you had to send an original to USCIS and many times NVC will ask for one/ he will get back at interview but what I am saying is get many as social security will want one, you will have to provide one for driving license and so many other things in the US. cover your butt

They did say in the letter they sent us to bring originals and copies since they migh keep the originals if no cooies are abaine so I have 2 files with copies or the whole package I already sent.

Ah, ok, thanks for the response. I know i'm thinking a little far ahead but we are trying to plan for what documents he should bring with him, so we aren't scrambling later trying to get them.

Thinking ahead, my fiance is going to get several copies of his birth certificate to use for our marriage license and eventually AOS. SInce he will be getting a translation to take to his interview, my question is, can he make copies of that translation to use once he is here, or will it need to be an original translation?

We received our NVC Case number last night. NOA2 approval date was June 22nd. Should have hard copy in the mail in a couple of days. They tell everyone 35 days when in fact it takes 20 to 21.

I have a question who got their NOA2 in June... Have you got a notification from NVC? We called them last week and they said we should call them back on the 27th... It sounds a bit long for me, cos we get our NOA2 on the 17th (hard copy on the 22nd)... There is no chance to follow it up online or somewhere, just by gving them a call, right?

We received our NOA2 June 19th and this afternoon, when I called the NVC, they had just assigned us a case number and entered it into their system. Hopefully you will have yours soon!

Use the date on the USCIS website

a copy of which you should receive in the mail, you must save it !!!! Because NOA-2 is one of the most important documents required for the change of status in the USA(green card receipt).

We put our NOA2 received on our timeline as the date they notified us electronically. Is this correct or should it be the date we received the hard copy in the mail? We just want to clarify so that our timeline is accurate.

HI when i sent my husband our documents to morocco i used UPS it cost a lil more but it was well worth it knowing they wouldn't get lost between here and there ...He got them in 3 days and we were able to track them also. good luck

I have everything ready to send to my fiancé now that we have received our NOA2 hard copy. I'm concerned that if I send with usps priority mail, there is a chance it may never reach Morocco. I've mailed things to Morocco before; most made it but there was one that was never received. My question is does anyone have experience with the global express guaranteed service? I believe that the usps works in conjunction with FedEx. Is this any more of a reliable option then just sending it through the usps? Any suggestions regarding how to send these documents is appreciated.

I just spoke with the human resources department of the company I work for and was told they no longer provide letters of employment verification. I explained what I needed it for but was told the same thing. I need some advice; is it an option to send my affidavit of support to my fiancé without the employment verification letter? We are using a co-sponsor since I don't meet the income requirements of 125%. The co-sponsor will be providing a letter of employment verification.

You can send either transcripts or copies of the 1040. It doesn't matter. Either way, your good!

Ok... curiosity got the best of me and I looked it up.... it says...

"Failure to provide evidence of sufficient income or financial resources may result in a denial of the aliens application for visa......"

"Submit in duplicate evidence of income and resources, as appropriate:

A. Statement from an officer of the bank or financial institutions with deposits, identifying the following details regarding the account:

1. Date account opened

2. Total amount deposited for the past year, and

3. Present balance.

B. Statements from your employer on business stationary showing:

1. Date and nature of employment.

2. Salary paid, and

3. Whether the position is temporary or permanent.

C. If self-employed

1. Copy of last income tax return filed, or

2. Report of commercial rating concern.

D. List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and nane of record owner(s).

But I would send three years... not one. This is your future.. leave no question in their mind. Have him take a multitude of pictures of you and him to the interview also. You filed about the sane time of the year we did when we went through this. We filed in May, and he had his interview in November and received his visa in December, and got here in January. Hopefully you will have a speedy process also. Just always remember to give them more than they ask for!

Hi Sarah... im on my phone so don't have a way to download to look it up. Download the directions for the affidavit of support. My husband is from Morocco too and I had a cosponsor. If I remember correctly they will need banking information. They will also need (3) years of tax returns, not one. A letter from your employer... etc.etc.. much more. It should be on in the directions on the aff. of sup... if will give you all the additional 'required' proof that you and your cosponsor needs to send in. Also, you will need to list your assets. Don't under proof... overproof!!!!!!! Hope this helps.

My question regarding the bank information, is because I do not use a bank account, my check is deposited on a prepaid debit card, so I have no bank information to send. I have no assets and neither does my co-sponsor, income alone is what we will use to qualify us. Also according to the instruction, if I am understanding correctly it says one year of tax returns, should I still send three years?

I will be using a co-sponsor to meet the 125% guidelines on the affidavit of support documents, as suggested, since it will have to be met for the AOS eventually. Both my co-sponsor and I work, but will not be including bank information with the form because neither of us have significant savings. My co-sponsor meets the 125% requirement for income, so I am planning on sending the following for each of us: the affidavit of support form, a copy of each 2014 tax return (1040), 3 recent paystubs from each of us, and a letter of employment from both my co-sponsor and I. Will this be enough documentation to satisfy the affidavit of support requirements?

I check the current processing times daily and also look at timelines that have been recently approved. I'm confused about the processing date. For example if someone's application from April 22nd has been processed, is that the date that their application was received by the Texas Lockbox, the date they received the NOA1 acceptance via email/text notification, or the date they received the NOA1 hardcopy. I apologize if my question is confusing, I'm not sure how exactly to ask. I guess I'm trying to figure out what my application date is, so I can have a general idea of when it might be processed.

No , just use the po box address , all they care about is the income , and if not sufficient , use a co-sponsor , it can be a family member or a friend .

I have a question regarding the affidavit of support. If I understand correctly, I should send a copy of my 1040 for the most recent year. I was looking at the form and it has my mailing address, which is a PO box and not my physical address on the form. Is this going to be accepted, since I used my physical address on the I-129F?

Dont worry ! every country has its own culture , here in Morocco we put the rings on our left hands for engagments just as for marriage .
