    • Copy of our Internet Bill. not allow adding name as well as phone plan, we call many time and they said they can not do that.
    • Copy of our Utility Bill. check
    • Copy of our Life Insurance. do not have
    • Copy of our Renters Insurance check
    • Copy of our Automobile Insurance. check

Anything else we can add? thanks

What they probably mean by "they can't' is to add your spouses name dated back but for future bills they should be able to add the name.

Anything that shows both of your names. Tickets, Receipts, Sams Club  member cards or any other Memberships like gym etc...?!

A joint cell phone bill or utility bill will not work, because they not allow to add both name. they only want thing with both name....

They clearly want to see more co-mingling.

Your cellphone provider should be able to add your spouse, as well as internet.

City or Utilities like Gas, Electric etc should be able to add spouse aswell. I would either go in person or address your concern over the phone. I did the same before i applied for ROC. Most companies etc will understand.

I added the following to my application

    • Copy of our Internet Bill.
    • Copy of our Utility Bill.
    • Copy of our Life Insurance.
    • Copy of our Renters Insurance
    • Copy of our Automobile Insurance.
  3. Roundtrip ticket worked for me. I saved about 50 %. You still have plenty of time to figure that out. It's a long drawn out process, unfortunately. The ticket should be the last thing to worry about, honestly.

But you'll be looking at around 700-1200 Euros depending on the season and how far in advance you book.

There's an unwritten rule that says around 50-55 days prior to  preferred departure date you'll see prices drop quite a bit.

Good Luck on your Journey. Dont drive yourself crazy! It will all fall into place but you have to be very patient.

Same here.  We had our Bio appointment yesterday.  I live in Chicago but this place was on the south side and took 1.5 hours each way.  The place was absolutely empty.  There appeared to only be 3-4 people working there and no other customers.  We checked in at the front, turned off our phones, and immediately had a picture and fingerprints taken.  Like you, only around 5 mins to take care of all that.  I'm just glad that it was done quickly and we didn't have to wait around like you do with most federal government facilities.

Anyone else did their biometrics in may and it still is marked as "case received."

No updates since I submitted paperwork

I have seen cases that got approved 2 Weeks after bio appt, I've also seen cases that took 12 to 14 months after bio appt to get approved. It all depends on locations etc. It's going to happen when it's going to happen. ;)

    1. short line at the airport

    2. travel anywhere, anytime, for as long as I like, with no worries over greencard status

    3. vote

    4. wider choice of visas (for example an Indian visa is much longer and cheaper for US passport holder thank UK passport holder)

    5. My British citizenship remains (even though I will pledge allegiance and say that no other crown or country will have jurisdiction over me, in truth you just have two passports and nobody cares - i think!)

thank you! I needed to hear that, i guess. Definitely opened my eyes. :)

  8. Just came back from Germany a few days ago. I actually crossed border in Dublin, Ireland. One of the two Int. Airports outside of the US to preclear customs. The Officer was very nice and welcomed me home. Just a few questions what i was doing in Germany and that was it. Very easy and great experience.

I traveled with an expired GC and extension Letter. (just as explained on your extension Letter)

Waiting to hear from my lawyer. Meantime need some suggestions, please. I am freaking out :(

So, my lawyer missed providing additional information in Page 11 for my previous residential address. After discussing with the lawyer, she said she would send an amendment to my petition providing the missing details.

Today, i got a rejection notice mail from USCIS along with the amended documents(submitted by my lawyer) and it has receipt number starting with EAC mentioning, the payment amount is incorrect, or has not been provided. My original petition has the receipt number starting with LIN.

Edit: My receipt number starting with LIN has status as "Case was received".

Question: Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fee to be submitted if an amendment is sent to the original petition?

Your check that was submitted with your application stated what amount?
