Hi thanks for the reply.
Actually we havent paid yet. We did the choose an agent step and completed it last apr13,2015 and its over a month now and we're not sure if we should go to step 2 already which is the paying part. We cant get through the busy line of nvc and when i go check the website to pay i dont see my name there, just for my hubby, who is the petitioner, and my son, who is my dependent.
And it shows n/a too instead of not paid.
What do i do?

Hi, everyone.
It's really hard to get through NVC phone line nowadays. It's always busy! Anyway, i didnt know if we should go ahead and go to step 2 which is paying the fees.
When i check the nvc website, i see there under my husband name (petition) that it's not paid and in the applicant, it's my son's name, it shows as n/a and My name is not included. What do i do?

Hello, everyone!
In the interview i know that we should bring proof of relationship. For the chat logs, email logs, phone logs, receipts, etc, should i just bring the recent ones? Like the last 3 months before the day of our interview. Or should i compile one page for each month since my husband and i got together? I am not sure how much evidence should i bring for each
Thanks for all your answers

I mean i didnt go through another ds-261 if thats what u mean. The site is really acting because it should say that we've completed that already but it's giving us a blank form again.
Can u please give me the link to the nvc guide here in VJ? Thanks so much

Oh i already went through the ds-261 (choosing an agent) and ive been waiting for them to reply. So do i just have to wait for them to reply before we can pay the fees? Thanks for the replies!

Hi everyone!
I find this forum really very helpful.
We have completed the step 1 on the nvc process, that is choosing an agent. We completed this last April 13, 2015. How long will they reply?
And when i checked on the ceac website, and tried logging in using my nvc and invoice id, it's giving me a new form for the ds-261 when we have already completed that. We even have the email that confirms that it's completed. What does that mean?
And should we wait for nvc's reply before we go to step 2, which is paying the fees?
Thank you all in advance.

Hello!
I have filed TWO separate petitions for me (wife of an LPR) and my one year old son. Both we're already approved and has a PD of Mar 17, 2013.
Now I received a letter from NVC for both my son and I (NVC welcome letter) last april 9, 2015 and we both have different NVC case numbers and invoice numbers.
Here are my questions:
1. Is my son already automatically my dependent (under my own nvc case number)?
2. Was filing a separate petition for my one year old son a waste of money and effort as he is automatically included under my name as dependent?
3. I already started with step 1, which is choosing an agent using my own case number and invoice number. And i didnt do the step 1 for my son anymore since he is already my dependent (will he be automatically my dependent?) did i actually do the right thing, not bothering to go through the nvc steps for my son using his own nvc case number?
I just want to make sure because i already started step 1 for my nvc case number last apr 13,2015 and did not do anything anymore to my son's petition (having his own case and invoice nbr). But i know that we will both have separate immigration visa application forms.
Thanks so much for all your help,
Worried Mom.

hi, thanks for your reply.
so you mean to say that automatically my son is included in my petitions because we are under f2a. so my husband shouldnt have filed a petition for my son in the first place. but he already did. should we ignore that approved petition and just process mine and then apply an IV for my son, too under my petition?
thanks

hello, all.
I would just like to know if i should still file a separate visa process for my one year old son? because my husband filed separate petitions for me and my son. we both have different case number. when i went to start my visa application, in the choose an agent part, it shows there that i am the principal and my "accompany" is my son. and it always says "applicant and each beneficiary that will accompany him to the united states" so does this mean that autoamtically, my son is included in my petition? i know that i have to submit a separate iv application for him. i just to know if i have to go through a separate process for my son in terms of choosing an agent, etc.
thanks for all your responses.

hello all,
my husband made a separate petition for me (his wife) and our one year old son. in the IV application process, in the CHOOSE AN AGENT step, it says there that i am the PRINCIPAL APPLICANT while my son is the ACCOMPANY. and there are separate fees for us. should i still file a separate IV application for my son or is he automatically included in my IV application?
appreciate all your answers. thank you in advance!

Hi,
what does IR-1/CR-1 means? Is this the same as the F2A category? spouse and minor child of a lawful permanent resident? I am trying to look for that forum because that is our category but i cannot find it anywhere.
Also, my husband made a separate petition for me (his wife) and our one year old son. in the IV application process, in the CHOOSE AN AGENT step, it says there that i am the PRINCIPAL APPLICANT while my son is the ACCOMPANY. and there are separate fees for us. should i still file a separate IV application for my son or is he automatically included in my IV application?
appreciate all your answers. thank you in advance!

Help me out here, everyone.
i am new so i dont know how this works or where to get and see important topics.
our pd is on mar17,2014, its not yet current but we already received an email from NVC re: ACL (WWRO)(CC). what does that mean? should we go ahead and start with the iv application process even if it's not yet current
thanks

Our PD is on March 17, 2014. currently, what's being processed for F2A in the Phils is until Aug2013. But NVC already sent us an email Re: ACL (WWRO)(CC) asking us to go through the immigration steps. what does it mean? should we start on the process now? (choosing an agent, paying the fees, etc) THanks for your help. Im new here, by the way.

Hi, thank you for ur reply. I would really like to go ahead and pay now but it shows there "not yet invoiced" and the only names that show there are for my husband (petitioner) and my son's (my beneficiary). My name is nowhere to be found and i am the principal applicant. What do i do?
