  1. Hello,

My son and I will be leaving on Monday. He is just 2 years old. Since i am the mother, i am correct in saying that i wouldnt need a permit from dswd for my son, right? I believe it only applies if the child (minor) is leaving with the father alone, in that case, the father needs to secure a consent from the mother saying she is allowing her child to travel out of the country with the father.

    Appreciate all ur responses

  2. Thanks for all the answers, Hank. To my other questions as well. I was just curious to know how others' went. Also, too eager to see the "ISSUED" status on CEAC. hehe..

I also wanted to know if and how I can track my visa through ustraveldocs. I can't remember where I read that it is possible to track the visa by logging in to the website. But mine never had any update since I registered last October. Is that normal?

    Hello,

I got my visa today. Picked it up from 2go sm marikina

    Nov10: interview

Nov10: status changed to issued (up to this date and time it's still showing as issued. didnt even change to 'your visa has been printed'

Nov11: embassy closed due to veterans day

Nov13: 2go picked up the passports from the embassy (received a text from the embassy saying it was transferred to 2go)

Nov14: got a text message from 2go saying its ready for pick up.

U can track the passport at ustraveldocs.com/ph and use the UID as the tracking number. Same tracking number to use when u track it in 2go.

    :)

  3. Corpuz and i had our interview last nov10. Same date it updated to issued. And then nov11 nothing because embassy is closed due to veterans day. Now, nov13 corpuz' passport is ready for pick up at 2go sm moa. Mine is in transit to 2go sm marikina. Had i opted to pick it up at 2go sm moa, too, then i would have gotten my passport too by now. Probably, mine will be available tomorrow as sm marikina is medyo malayo sa sm moa. Fastest talaga to get the visa is pick up sa 2go sm moa

  4. Hi :) you got the slot for this month November? Checked it online no more available...

the next one will be December 7 :( will wait again for cfo APPOINMENT..

Anyway, i figured it out already. Can someone pls delete this post already?! Too embarrassing. ??

    Thank you, greenbaum.

  7. Hello, all!

I am so confused with the cfo appointment scheduling. So it says there that if your fiance/spouse is a foreign national, former filipino or with dual citizenship, you are required to attend the PDOS.

    Now, here are my questions.

    1. My husband is still a filipino citizen (Will be a US citizen in 3 more yrs), i believe i will choose the "former filipino" option from the drop-down, right?

    2. And the session slots are based on my husband's country of citizenship. So, since my husband is NOT YET a US citizen but eventually will be, do i choose a session under the USA slots, or do i choose from the Asia Pacific slot (thinking because he is still a filipino citizen)?

    3. And in the drop-down for choosing the citizenship of my husband, im not sure if i should choose USA becuase again eventually he will become a US citizen, or should i choose Pacific Islander since he is still a filipino citizen? It says there pacific islander, no option for philippines

Oh my. I didnt know this will be this confusing. Appreciate all your answers.

  10. Hello all!

We just had our interview today and everything went well. Consul said everything looks good and it will be issued.

Now, we're heading home and i checked ceac and it's now showing as ISSUED. Wow! That was quick!

Thank you everyone for all your help. Special mention to greenbank, hank and to my friend, corpuz! :)

  11. Hello, all!

Our interview is tomorrow. I just want to know if they will allow me to have someone accompany us in the interview as I have a minor with me, my one year old. Do they allow that? I was thinking of bringing my mom (not an applicant) with me as I might have a hard time during the interview. My son is really active.

Thanks for all your help and offer a prayer for us to have a successful interview. Thanks :)
